I made a bad choice in sending my child to this school. The teachers at this school are okay but the administration is unprofessional. This school has many characteristics of an alternative school but with better electives. If you would like your child to learn how to survive in the prison system this would be a great school to learn.

This school is very good for academics and extracurriculars, but may not be the safest environment. It is in the middle of a generally unsafe neighborhood, and there are many fights and threats almost everyday. If you are a focused and good student, this school is for you, but do not get involved in all the drama. Being a graduate (class of 2017- Go Trojans!), I have enjoyed my experience at this school, although there have been a few ugly incidents....most of the teachers are very highly trained, and teach the curriculum very well. Having graduated this school, I can tell you that it is a great environment, and that you will miss it very much when you move on.

Carnage is a good school. All the teachers here may not be the nicest but they teach you what you need to know. All these reviews that are bad are racial and not true. Sure there are African-Americans that get into fights, but there are fights not involving African-Americans. Also there arent drugs being sold. Ghetto is not the word to describe this school. Carnage is a good school that is focused on learning and giving kids the oppurtunity to have a bright future. The carpool system could run more smoothly but is pretty good. So overall, Carnage is a good school. You should definitely look at this school

Carnage truly isnt that bad of a school, you just have to be mentally strong and prepared for all the cursing, graffiti, fighting, etc. Lets be honest, middle school sucked for just about anyone, of course unless you were very Best or well-liked. However that is about 2% of Carnages population. I would say the worst thing about Carnage is the students, sure Carnage is in a ghetto area but without the terrible people, Carnage wouldnt nearly be half as bad. Carnage is an AMAZING school for academics, spots, arts, etc., probably the best in the area, but if you really want it you have to take it with a grain of salt.

Save yourself and your kids. kids get suspended for no reason but besides that its a great school u cant have as much fun and teachers are very strict but if your on the good side of teachers they become nice to you. the school is also next to a womans jail so you might want to watch out for that.

I personally take a disliking to one of carnages assistant principles. Constantly she blows her whistle over things that are not necessarily big deal. I strongly feel that she is the wrong person to assist us students and for that I strongly disagree with multiple of her consequences that she gives unto us. Other than that carnage is a pretty decent school!

No matter what everyone else says as long as you hang out with the right people and dont go looking for trouble you will be fine. The Teachers may be strict but that is a good thing for the students as they wont have time to slack off. I just graduated from carnage so I speak from experience. Yes this school has drugs and violence, and yes there have been many incidents but all in all this is a very good school. Its academics can not be beat in The RTP area and you have opportunities to go even further. I would send your child here if you want them to excel and move through levels faster.

Yes, there are druggies, and yes, you might be coughing from someone elses vape, but for the most part, the teachers are decent. One major downside is the instruction diagrams on the bathroom walls. I know how to pee, okay? People dont even follow these instructions. If you hold your nose when using the restrooms, or dont use them at all, Carnage is a great school.

Well, lets just say that the people arent the best people... But you know, its just like any other middle school, if you look past the fact that most of the school hasnt been cleaned properly. But the academics are good and stuffs, and you can get lots of high school credits.

Its kind of weird at first, but youll get used to it. The school is really poor and all the money goes to the front office which is the only place in the school that looks nice. Recently random objects have started to blow up and cause anyone caught in the blast to blow up as well. It only happened this year though so they should fix it. Good school overall

Speaking as a student whos actually attended this school and not as a parent tricked into thinking this is a great school, if you want decent classes and electives, and some high school credits, you may want to consider coming here, because on the good side of this school, students are provided with great academics. But if you are very sensitive to racism, panic too easily when your things disappear, cant stand profanity, and are easily triggered by general rudeness, dont even consider this place for a second. The people here (Im going to try hard not to be racist in this review) arent really a good definition of the word respectful, or mature. There is a lot of cursing at teachers, fights for no apparent reason (like, way too many fights), and a fair amount of curse words and genitalia on bathroom walls. Socially, as long as you maintain good relationships with decent and Best people, you should be fine. But even the good people can sometimes be a little annoying. Many people have been given rude nicknames, and at Carnage, if youre given one, the whole school will be calling you that within a month. And based on personal experience, if you say one little thing that just happens to be worded a bit wrong, a horrific rumor will be spread about you. So just be careful and think before you talk.For any rising sixth graders, depending on your elementary schools, many of you will go into Carnage as innocent, decent human beings, but will most likely come out of it as someone completely different, who I dont want to describe in fear of scaring you. Im not trying to scare you, but its just something youll have to face if you choose to come to this rather up-and-down, unique school.As for teachers, some can be very nice and fun, who you will feel comfortable being open with. But others are just irritating and unhelpful. You may find yourself in a situation where you know for a fact that you turned an important assignment in, but the teacher claims that you didnt, when really she/he lost it.But although these attributes make Carnage sound terrifying, it really isnt. It can be a great school, if you choose to make it great for yourself. The moral of the story is, if youre going to come here, maintain good relationships with good people, dont frustrate teachers, and be careful on how you behave.

Overall t is really great and the teachers here help you like Im in 6th grade right now when Im writing this and the teachers really did their best to help us get to our classes made sure we learned everything. Also dont believe everything you hear,I guess what i mean by that is dont think as carnage as a ghetto school based on where its located or the race of kids and teachers that work and learn at the school. Cause the diversity is what makes the school unique not all school has the diversity we do. Plus it adds to the experience of going to middle school.

Carnage is good academically but, socially it is not as good. There are many fights and many students barely even try. But, if you are a good student you can do well academically you just need good friends that are trustworthy.

Do not believe the horrible reviews that other people have written, such as things about race and violent activity. These are exaggerated, however not by a lot. This school has a lot of gum under the desks which no one wants to clean. The punishments no one cares about, and there are random fights about every 3 months. Also, if you bump into people, they shove you into doors. If people turned this school into a mental asylum, they wouldnt have to change anything except for making the food a little less poisonous in order to not fatally injure the prisoners within 10 seconds.

Carnage is a very safe place. the halls are single filed and there are NEVERR any fights. carnage is very clean and the bathrooms are so pleasant that once you use them you will never want to use another one again!

People may say that the school is ghetto, but they are trying to discourage you from going to Carnage, which has a glowing reputation in the fields of Mathematics and Science, especially Science Olympiad. The experience of going to Carnage is basically the same as any other middle school, except the overpopulation of Asians at the school. There are also many African Americans, but that does not subtract from the educational value of the school. Try it!

Carnage is a nice and diverse school with cool clubs and programs. If you are new, stay in the shadows and try not to act like a fool. Ahem... Aneesh (it used to be Anand, but he requested a change, what a scrub, why did he even read this review?). Also try to make friends and get a social life so you wont get harassed. Some bad things and good things happen at Carnage. The teachers are great (except for some lazy teachers, I think you know who I am talking too.) but some of the students are terrible. There are multiple school shootings, bomb threats, teacher affairs, bullies and Carnage is like the middle of some WW2 battleground. Carnage looks like a really old school and I dont even think they bother to fix the campus because you see like weed growing everywhere. Inside the building, you see graffiti covering the crappy walls which have been repainted several times. The classrooms have extremely old textbooks and the floors are not clean, probably because of some students and teachers leaving grease and trails of ecstasy and heroin. Its also next to a womens correction facility which makes it incredibly hard to concentrate on a test or something. When walking through the hallways, make sure you just dont bump into some ghetto kids drug dealing (could be Tylenol, acetaminophen, Aspirin or some other thing. The ghetto kids in middle school are amateurs at drug dealing.) Those kids hang out in groups and would be best if you tried not to get shoved into them. Racial phrases come out of their mouth as soon as you touch them and you get harassed (like being pushed or getting punched in the arm/face/stomach/etc). If you see a fight, just dont look at it, BIG DEAL, its a fight. Carnage has so many fights and now I know why its called Carnage... bloodshed. Its easy to make friends, but be careful of who you make friends with, because it may be some guy whos hooked up to pot or like some guy who smokes weed everyday. Avoid the people you know who are dumb sh*ts, and also, never use the bathrooms unless there is an emergency. Whatever the black kids do in those, you generally want to avoid the bathrooms. Who knows? Some guy could have thrown marijuana down the toilet. Also make sure if you are using the bathrooms (for emergencies only), try to cover your nose and go as quick as you can - be sure to wash your hands with like strong antibacterial washing stuff and then get the heck out of there. Just be aware and take precautions (like taking a survival guide) when going to Carnage but otherwise, it is a good school.

Great school, for 6-8th Graders, nice teachers.

As a rising sixth grader I was pretty scared about going to Carnage when I read the reviews but honestly this school is pretty awesome. My teachers are really nice and the electives are very fun. The only reason I didnt give this school five stars is because of the students here. In my elective classes there are seventh and eighth graders who are very disruptive during class and curse a lot. If you are trying to make it through the school year without getting killed make sure you are in the right friend group. Dont get caught up in all of the craziness that there is here because there is a lot. There is a lot of fights going on sometimes in the hallways but if you just move past it and dont get involved in it you will get used to it. Also dont send your kids here if they are very sensitive because they just wont make it.

Well, fights are common. Weve had 5 code red situations this year. Some of the walls are falling down. The textbooks are from the 1970s. The bathrooms are noxious and its impossible to even enter without passing out. Smoking is common in the bathrooms. Drugs are everywhere. So are guns. The students are extremely rude and when youre walking through the hallway they will definitely curse at you and throw some racial slurs in the mix as well. Students are very racist, including to members of their own race. Indian teachers are slandered on a daily basis. The whole place has a scary atmosphere, and you never know when youll get mugged in the hallway. The surveillance cameras dont work by the way. The cafeteria has a huge green drawing of genitalia on the wall.

Just um.. No, this school is so bad. Im a 6th grader at this school and everyone here is just so racist. You hear cursing every 3 milliseconds and fights happen literally EVERYDAY! You can never fit in unless you are ghetto, get into fights everyday and cuss or just be a jerk. Rumors spread about everyone, its just fake to. People always call you a **** or something along censored lines like that and its all because you are talking to your friend and maybe say, I suck popsicles. You must find the right group of friends and if you dont youre screwed for the rest of the year. Your friends should be people trustworthy and people reliable to fall back on that can help you up in dark times. There are people that are just plain old jerks and they always put you down.. Although, the good point about Carnage is that it prepares you for high school, bullying, tough times and it also prepares you to be tough and not scared against people that may put you down or are bigger than you. Although, if your child is really suffering here, crying and stuff maybe it is best to set it down and switch him or her to a different school. Although maybe if they mildly complain you should really keep them in there. The staff/teachers are strict, some being nice but, most of them dont seem to care about your problems and let it be. If you fight back and defend yourself you get in trouble. I mean id rather keep dignity than get made fun of for the rest of the year. So Parents, honestly its not such a good school.

Although there is an excessive amount of troublemakers, CMS has many great teachers, many competitive opportunities, and overall is a great school. Most of the teachers are very friendly, although a few are very tough. However, again, there are a lot of troublemakers (dont provoke them)!

Ok, so i went here and it has some really great electives. there are several theater arts classes and a strings(orchestra, violin and such.) class. but, my experience was quite bad when it came to other students, teachers, and a bit in administration. one review i have read says they will scream at you, and that is true. also, detention is a first choice for punishment. sometimes really good kids end up in detention for speaking out of turn and get sent to the same room as people who harass and beat up others. some teachers are pretty great, the band and orchestra teachers are examples, but others can be very harsh.all and all, it was kinda bad, but not the worst. i am thankful to have had the opportunity to take acting and viola classes, but somethings that happen here make it look like hell. also, the building is old and custodians are very understaffed, giving it a kind of dirty vibe.but thats something you can ignore i guess. pretty much, i made lots of friends here, but also a lot of people hated me(then again i was really nerdy. still am, lol.) so that can make me a bit biased.anyway, it has great classes, but the handling of students and behavior is bad.

Well, i don’t really know if my opinion is enough to help you decide, but before you come to carnage/send your child to carnage, i think you should read this.ok, to begin with, carnage is not a terrible school, despite what everyone tells you. there are some really great people here and you will make friends that you will love and appreciate. the academics are also great. so if academics are all you’re looking for in a school, carnage is the place for you, and you get great friends as a bonus. seems amazing right?now some minor annoyances that will bother you: the bathrooms. they are terrible. im queasy and squeamish and get naeseous very easily. for me, they are literally hell. i went there a few times to toss my trash, three seconds, i almost threw up. not everyone is as queasy as me but be warned, they are BAD. also, the cafeteria. similar to the bathrooms, terrible smell. also, if you have motion sickness (also like me), that is unfortunate. but you can go to working lunch as much as possible, and avoid the bathrooms, and these annoyances won’t kill you.it is very rare that someone enters carnage and leaves innocent. and it is definite that carnage will change you forever. i was so innocent at the beginning of sixth grade, naive and wanted friends. a full almost two years later, here i am with a refined vocabulary (of profanity). i also know a lot of dirty things now, as opposed to when i came to carnage... things i wish i never learned.....some more bad things include fights, but those are inevitable at any school. we just have an excessive amount of them. another bad thing is that everyone here is depressed, maybe not clinically but the school will definitely make you feel upset with yourself, doubtful, stupid and insecure. and if you’re unlucky, like me, it will be hell.back on the good things, the teachers are usually all very nice and supportive if you are a good student. even if you aren’t a good student, they cover the curriculum thoroughly and know what they’re doing. they’re amazing! the counselors are also very nice and helpful, though student services definitely needs work at the beginning of the year: students are put into the wrong classes! most of the school is clean, and your experience will definitely vary with others’ experiences, but it will be memorable in one way or another. maybe it will be hell. maybe it won’t. i’ll leave you to decide whether you want to come or not.

I am a 6th grader at Carnage Middle School and let me just say, DONT SEND YOUR CHILD TO CARNAGE. You and your child will regret it completely. Your child will get hurt in someway, trust me. I just got into a fight with a jerk named Emmanuel last Thursday and now everyone is pestering me. The teachers as well, some teachers are nice, but many dont care for your students opinion and are just plain mean. They will blame your child for something that they didnt do. Not to mention, you all mustve heard that Carnage is a ghetto school. Well guess what, its true, you will see people sagging their pants, using slang words, and cursing at each other. That is not all that there is to know, but you really shouldnt send your child to Carnage Middle School. There is no proper education. It is hard for all grades, especially for 6th graders. I recommend schools such as Martin, Moore square, or Daniels. But I wont tell you what you want for your child, just my opinion.Let me be honest here, on one side, academically, Carnage is a great school. But on the other side, socially and Bestity, you will be humiliated in some ways, taunted/bullied, and more. The child you knew when they were young will positively have changed when they come out, either in a good(rarely) or bad way. If not, they might change as they go through puberty or in high school. In Carnage, how many people you know and how many people know you matters more than just high grades for some reason. I do not mean to get off topic, but today, people are telling me that I fought Emmanuel just because of lettuce. Well guess what, thats not true, only part of the story. Quick story: He kept messing with my friends and I, wont leave us alone. Then for some reason, he puts lettuce, with hot sauce poured on, in my hood. I took it out and threw it back at him, then he swung at me. Thats how the fight actually started. I dont get all these rumors that people are saying. And itll probably take at least a month for people to forget all about it.SO NO, WE DID NOT FIGHT FOR LETTUCE(For any of the people who said that looking at this review!!!!!!!Anyway, back to the subject, make sure you choose the right friends, the ones that arent just really Best. Sure, friends tease each other, but make sure it isnt constant, choose the right friends who will be there by your side when youre feeling down(which will probably be a few times a month). For example, I saw a student in my homeroom crying, something about a fight, and I saw her loyal friends by her side, comforting and caring her telling her that itll be all right. Please read this part, listen carefully, if your friends tell you a secret, KEEP IT!!!!!!!!! Dont even think about telling it, unlike me. Both of you will be hurt. Those are the kinds of friends that you want in middle school, especially at Carnage.Again, parents, please do me a big favor and dont send your children to Carnage. I made a huge mistake when I let other people tell me a lie about the school, saying how it was a delight and pleasure at this school. Well its not, and unless youre child is having a real hard time, like, REALLY, hard time, if theyre crying almost everyday, take them out of the school. If you dont, theyll suffer from depression and might commit something bad. If youre child isnt suffering from depression or anything else, dont take them out of the school. Itll feel like they left a challenge and were just quitters. Let them go through the mild experience of Carnage. Give your child a good life. Like I said before, this is just my opinion and this is your decision totally, but sit with your child and talk to them about what they want. Oh god...this school is literally hell. The teachers tried to rip one of my friends arms off. They actually tried to rip off everyones head. We get abducted by aliens every day. Let me get into the specifics:1: The bathrooms are very stinky. Some people actually died in there. Then the principal killed her again. I would honestly say it is easier to go outside and pee in a bush, since nobody tries to stop you from leaving.2: The cafeterias are TOXIC. The lunch ladies dropped a peices of hair hair in every food and they spit in it too. One time I saw the lunch lady sneeze into the food and then say, Great, now they can all be dead.3: Everyone hates everyone here. Nobody likes anybody and they all try to abduct each other4: Dont even get me started on fights... people try to kill each other5:No one learns anything because the teachers are all dumbasss who dont even speak right. One of my projects last year, instructed me to Do myself a real thing essay about a novel now, will someone please tell me what do you an essay means? one of my teachers this year marked me down 10 points because I used tape instead of glue.6:This year, we have a record of 1 shooting a week. I personally would not recommend carnage for anyone regardless. I agree the school has many wonderful programs like higher math courses, But its not worth because many of the teachers are very rude and unapproachable,The environment is not safe at all in my three years of attending this school i have experienced a lock down and 2 bomb threats, The houses outside of the school look very sketchy. Today I was walking in the staircase from the seventh grade hallway down to the eight grade hallway on the wall it a had a curse word. The kids are not the best many kids in this school make inappropriate and dirty joke which is not appropriate in a middle school environment. I will not even lie before I did not know a single curse word but that all changed once I entered into carnage ag/gt magnet middle today I know every single curse word known to man.Many kids come into the school and the upperclassmen usually curse or swear in front of them and then the 6th grader thinks it is cool for them to curse really its not kids who start cursing have the habit with them and then once they enter the real world they will be viewed as uneducated. The reasons because I gave the school three stars was because academics are amazing and so are the world languages, but in the end I dont think it is worth that much to go to carnage because of the unsafe environment .I you live in the carnage district then you should try to transfer out if you dont just go to your local school or try the other magnet if you absolutely want magnet. I personally dont know about enloe but people say it is worse than carnage so that is way I am transitioning out of magnet

CLEARLY, the school board was desperate to have a school in the area. like REALLY desperate. sure the womens correction institute with all the fences and barbed wire has never effected me personally, but really, REALLY. other than that, great school, there are some choice people who CAN and WILL cause your heart to shrivel up and die but who cares :D most of the people are nice enough. P.S. dont be a violent jerk. everyone hates violent jerks.

Carnage is great so far. Ive been their for 6th grade going to 7th and for the people going to 6th grade its actually a really good school and most of the electives are fun.

Carnage is one of the worst if not the worst school ive been to. The school is not only dirty but also lacks education opportunities. Most of the teachers dont teach and i had to self study in several classes ive taken for the entire year. The teachers are not good at teaching and they are strict for no reason, it really feels like a concentration camp. The entire school is filthy too, the bathrooms are intolerable, urine and excrement is all over the floor. Im glad i left that horrible school, Enloe is a lot better.

A story of how my experience was:One day, my friend, Sahil Ganid was in the lunch line with me. All was well, we were talking to each other, when suddenly, a fight broke out. A food fight arose out of that and soon all teachers were frantically running around trying to stop it. Sahil was nowhere to be found. I searched the cafeteria. Nowhere. I called everyone I knew, all of which did not answer. A teacher came up to me, took my phone, and said If you want your phone back, it will be in the office. A parent must pick it up. My anger level started to rise. I took a chair and threw it at the floor. The teacher turned around and tried to grab my arm. I dodged it. I will not be both robbed and kidnapped today, I said to myself, dodging another attempt to grab my arm. I took my lunch and ran off. Suddenly, a shrill beeping sound filled the air. A lock-down drill. All doors were being closed in the cafeteria, locking me inside of it. I lunged myself at the door and it broke down, freeing me from the hellish environment. I ran away as fast as was humanly possible as the teacher yelled for me to come back. I needed to find Sahil. As I neared an exit, it occurred to me that Sahil could be in the library. I decided that in order to escape the grasps of the teacher, I would have to enter through the back of the library. When I made it to the library, I noticed that the door was locked, so I did what any normal person would do: I banged on the door and yelled Open up! When I realized it would not work, I thought that maybe I needed to add a threat, so I yelled Open the door and nobody gets hurt. I noticed that I was locked out of the school, so I sat down by the library and started the eat my lunch, even though I still hadnt paid for it. From inside the library, I heard someone say on what was probably a phone Id like to report a gunman at the back entrance of the library. Repeat, Gunman at the back entrance of the library. I yelled back Im not a gunman. Im a.... girl scout! Im delivering your cookies! loud enough so that they could here me. The door was then opened and I was welcomed by a nice punch in the face. Hey! I said. Watch where you throw those punches! Well, you sounded like a gunman. Its a rhetorical question, dumbo! I was obviously winning the verbal fight so I shoved them aside, took out my handy-dandy AK-47 and yelled If your name is Sahil, stand up! One kid stood and I said Not you, the other Sahil! and shot him down. When I noticed that Sahil was not there, I turned around to leave. This time I was met by both a punch in the face and the police. I stood there dizzy for a second until I noticed that I was being handcuffed. I quickly snapped out of my daze and tried to break free, with no such luck. I asked the police why they would handcuff me and they said You stole lunch in the cafeteria! I said that a teacher stole my phone and attempted to kidnap me. The police then took off my handcuffs and said thank you for reporting a criminal. I felt extremely proud of myself for doing so. I say that this school is certainly full of fun and you never know whats around the corner.

I go to carnage and it is a really awesome school as of 2013(7th graders are the best!!!)

Im an raising 6th grader and so far I like it and others say its bad and idk what should I do? should I drop out? keep in? I HATE drama ever since my maria drama...is this a good school for acting and talents?

I personally dont think carnage is a good school it is a bad place and the academics are not that good but they mainly teach for the test except for a few teachers but they are not returning because of being pushed around by student so left for good

The school looks normal except that its next to a mental facility for the insane woman with fat ladys sound the whip on the roof and screaming cusses at passing by cars while their weird mentally insane friends jump into carnage and start abducting kids left and right while the principle bribes the government and thats why we dont have money for education food security ands male teachers without even some facial hair
