I went through the full adult driving course after not driving for 15 years (hardly driving before then) and it was a great experience. Scott was a great instructor for my first lesson as he really set a good tone for the company and gave me the confidence to continue on. Mike gave direct feedback to make sure I worked on what I needed to. Jordan did my assessment and was a dream, really helping me to calm down and just focus on driving well, which allowed me to pass on the first try. Highly recommended.

I came here to take my knowledge test to get a drivers permit. I was assisted by Jordan and she was very professional and helpful through the entire process and was clear when speaking with us. We got the run around at some other places when trying to get proper informarion and what the next step was, but Jordan assisted us perfectly. Thank you.

My daughter did great according to the instructor on her drive for her license. They had her parallel park in a driveway with no curbs in it. They failed her for going up the ( non existant) curb with her tires. Now how can a person see a curb when yhere isnt one to go by? Waste of time and money. Not all driving schools do this kind of thing. None Ive talked to as of yet. Another thing Ive been informed of is that if you do good on uour test but fail parallel parking it is not enough to fail the driving test.

So pleased to have done business with the 911 driving school with all three kids. The instructors are excellent. Shout out to Cort and Stu! The staff very kind, professional and educated. Made learning to drive a breeze and a parents scheduling appointment with teen was so easy. You have to know a business does something well with a teen is having fun learning.

Choose another location-They are not customer services oriented. They are about the MONEY not about doing what is right. Horrible Deal!

The Puyallup location is a really great place for practicing! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to learn and test with 911 driving school. The people I drove with were very calm and relaxed, which made it easy for me to get my license. They were clear speaking and understandable when giving instructions. And the location in general is very safe for beginner drivers. However I think they should have a bigger 911 driving school sign out, maybe near the road so its a little easier to find . But other then that, they were really great !

Stu is the best instructor ever ! In class he made us feel very comfortable and I learned a lot, same with drives! He always has great stories to share to keep us entertained! Court on the other hand is something else, he made me feel very uncomfortable and I hated all my drives with him. He needs to be more gentle with students, we’re new to this and still learning. Thank you.

As a mother, it was important to read and consider the online reviews of driving education companies. The reputation of a business is important. I want to know that Im getting my monies worth. I am happy to review 911 as a reputable company. The teaching was fast and easy, with every question answered. Instructors are professional, but personable. The front desk (Nicole) always answer the phone and was kind. Worth every penny, you get what you pay for. We will be back in 4 years!

This was the best way for our child to learn how to drive by far! The staff was always friendly and helpful. The instructor my daughter had always motivated my daughter to want to be a better driver. They also kept their attention in the class, from telling stories about being a police officer to adding humor to keep them interested. Then she said, the nicest lady, gave her the road test. Now she tells me how to drive- her mother! Overall, it was a great experience!I just wanted to add that some of her friends had gone to the South Hill A driving school and it just closed without notice and they didnt notify any of the students. Closed the door and that was it! They had to pay again to go to another driving school. So, Im glad I chose a school thats been around awhile and has a good reputation.

Stu was funny and kept the classes interesting. Scott was terrific in the office and on the road. Together, their instruction resulted in first-try successes on both the written and drive tests.

Extremely nice tester who made me feel very comfortable and calm. 911 driving school in Tacoma, who had terrible, bitter, and rude instructors, should take some notes from this Puyallup location. Thank you so much!!!

The school has many good instructors who are all retired police officers. The instructors have a lot of experience teaching people how to drive and they are very good at getting you ready for your drive test. The cars they have you practice in have a brake for the instructor so if you are even or about to be in a bad situation they can help get you out.

So all of the driving instructors Ive had have been super nice, but the one I had on my drive today was very unbelievably rude to me and my observer. Apparently he wanted me to make a left turn but waited till the very last second to tell me, and then threw a very unnecessary fit. And I apologized for not making the turn, but my apology didnt seem to change anything cause he was still very rude after that and just overall had no respect for me or my observer. Then I was in the process of backing around a corner and after I was done he said something along the lines of that was the most outrageous thing Ive ever seen and that I did a terrible job. I get that driving instructors are supposed to correct your mistakes, thats their job. But its NOT their job to make you feel like a failure and throw fits when you make a mistake and be DISRESPECTFUL. And not only that. The girl that drove before me was almost in tears because of how unbelievably rude he was to her. I didnt spend 700 dollars on drivers Ed to be disrespected by a driving instructor. I dont remember the first name of the driving instructor, all I know is that his last name is Miller.

My son learned how to drive from the professional folks at 911 Driving School. The instructors did a fabulous job teaching my son the rules of the road and the responsibilities required, both in the classroom, and while in the drivers seat. As this teens mom (and a single parent), its a big relief to know that my son Connor has been taught by true professionals. Thank you!

Hello Ron and ScottMy name is Rick and recently my daughter took her driving test at your school. We had a wonderful experience at your driving school and we wanted you to know about it. Nichole is outstanding! She is so polite, kind, positive, reassuring, etc., etc. My daughter took her drivers ed training with Freedom in Spanaway and had a terrible experience. They really should not be in business. She then took her written exam with 1st Avenue Driving School and it was less than satisfactory. She wanted to schedule her driving test with them as well, because she heard from her friends that everyone always passes on the first try with 1st Avenue, but they could not get her in soon enough for her driving test, so we scheduled with 911. From our first phone call to her driving test her experience was outstanding and we both wished she had started with 911 from the very beginning. There is no comparison between 911 and the other schools. My daughter took her driving test with Hellen, and said that she was so nice even when she didnt do so well on a few things. Hellen really made her feel comfortable and very well may be a big part of the reason why she passed her test.We want to thank Hellen and Nichole, and hope that you will give them a big pat on the back for a job well done! They both truly represent 911 very well. Thanks again. Have a good day.~ Rick & Jordan

They said that my wifes scores would be uploaded and we could go get her drivers license right away from the DMV. We waited the standard hour in a DMV line only to find out that her scores were not in the computer. Unless they confirmed that she took and passed, they wouldnt give a license. I called from 3:30 pm unitl they closed at 5pm and not a single person answered the phone. Way to take our money and run.
