We moved to the area for one school year due to my husbands job. We chose PCA simply because of their inviting website and because they would have an opportunity for my middle daughter to participate in a school play. But everything from then until now has exceeded our expectations.PCA office and elementary principal were great with answering my questions from afar since we couldnt travel to the area due to Covid. We committed without seeing the school.Since day one we have been beyond pleased with this school, staff, and community. Other than my kindergartener and fifth grade daughter being extremely happy with their teachers and classmates, I have been amazed at the top-notch academia. I work in language and literacy training and student remediation, and PCA is getting right what I have seen the majority of schools in several states struggle to do. The science behind reading is being used in the kindergarten classroom and my fifth grader has excelled in higher level writing and reading comprehension. My childrens safety, acceptance, and excelled education was worth the investment in PCA. We have been to schools that were not necessarily better because we were paying, but this decision was worth every penny. PCA has options for several different types of learners; my childs needs were met with the classroom and gifted program, yet there are additional alternatives which PCA was acknowledged for during their accreditation, so take a look.

Love this school! The administration and faculty genuinely care about each students growth both spiritually and academically. Enrolling our children in PCA was the best decision for our family. The school is small enough to have smaller class sizes, but not too small. The school is a Blue Ribbon school, with a focus on high academic standards. This is proven every year with each graduating class earning millions of dollars in scholarships. The sports are great too, competing 3A in AHSAA sports...very competitive. Most importantly, God is not ignored on this campus!

So thankful for PCA, the teachers, staff and administrations how they never missed a beat when we had to immediately go online (the teacher found out on Friday and started online Monday morning). Our PCA students never missed even 1 day of instruction. So very blessed to be a part of this amazing school and family.

I have two children at PCA. We have had a great experience for the past five years. Small (but not too small) classes and a family/high standards driven atmosphere. I have been most impressed during this period of remote learning, so I wanted to share that experience.Schools were closed the weekend of March 13th. By that Monday, March 16th, we had everything we needed to continue learning without skipping a beat. All of the lower school kids were already set up on Google Classroom for various school projects, and the upper school kids already used Google Classroom for both in and out of school work on their school provided laptops, so they were very familiar with it. The constant communication from and availability of teachers and the administration was great. I heard stories from mothers with children at other schools who were frustrated that their children werent receiving the same education because of school closures. Aside from the disappointment of not being in school with their classmates and teachers (which could not be helped), I sincerely felt my childrens education did not suffer during the final 9 weeks of at-home learning. This made me feel more confident than ever that PCA was the best choice for us.

Our son graduated from PCA two years ago and is now in college. Our daughter will be in the ninth grade next year. Our experience has been that both of our children have been surrounded and supported by adults (faculty and staff) who are genuinely interested in their spiritual and academic development.

PCA is a wonderful school with caring faculty and a strong academic program. Students are cared for and loved individually. The teachers set a strong example of Christian values. I have two girls that have attended PCA since K3 and we love the school.

My children have been at PCA for 9 years and we LOVE it! We had them in private schools in Montgomery and lived in Millbrook. I was hesitant about switching them because I knew everyone in Montgomery and they had friends there. It was such a big decision, but the best one we could have ever made! The class size is smaller than a public school, the teachers and staff communicate well with the parents, and best of all--my children are learning the word of God every day at school! This school is like a second family.

We’ve had a great experience at PCA with our 3 kids. In particular, our daughter is 13 and has mild cerebral palsy which has impacted her mobility. Her teachers were great about letting her out a few minutes early between class changes to avoid her getting trampled in the hallway and also allowing a friend to accompany her on longer distances during the school day. This year a student noticed the big distance she was walking to and from the carpool line to get to class and came up with an idea for a special drop off point which greatly shortened the walking distance for all students with a handicap. Administrators contacted me about it and had it implemented in no time. What a blessing! She also had a lot of anxiety about doing presentations, but with the help of a couple of awesome teachers, she overcame that fear this year and did a couple of presentations in class. It takes her a little longer to process some concepts, and her teachers allowed her a little extra time for tests. We love PCA and have been so thankful for the positive and supportive environment.

I paid half of my son’s school tuition for PCA in April.. The amount was over $4000. I told PCA today that he had decided to attend Autauga Academy due to their wonderful football program, and I need to get his tuition refunded, their response was “even though he will not be attending PCA they are keeping the $4000 and I owe $775 for next years supplies before they will release his school records to Autauga Academy..Fair????? I think not!Theft??? I think so!!!
