Ms Semien the assistant director is a mother, a teacher and a very professional kind lady willing to work with any child regardless of the child’s developmental level. Ms Maria, Ms Ziba and Ms Hamsa are very lovely and patient with my Son and these lovely people are still maintaining my confidence about the school.

For being such a newer school, you would expect top notch customer service and cleanliness. However; went to check this place out and to my surprise it was not what I expected based on the reviews and online 3D tour. The front desk staff didn’t even care if I’m here or not. They didn’t seem friendly or professional. If they treat you when they first meet you. Imagine how they treat the kids or parents when they come. I wanted to like the place cause it’s close to our house. But, I didn’t feel comfortable dropping my kids here.

Ok let me start off by saying Mrs. Semien, Ms. Jay, and Mrs. Jackie are absolutely hands down the most amazing women I have met living in McKinney!! I moved here from Arlington due to losing my home during the winter storm. I was beyond nervous about placing my 3 little queens in a daycare facility again. I came across Genstar Montessori School and my oh my is this the BEST SCHOOL!!! The security of this facility is top notch! There are cameras all over this place and not only that, but you get pictures sent to your phone during the day. As well as messages on how your little ones are doing and reminders if anything is needed for them. They are always having events, activities, and fun in-house visits. It’s brand new and very much upgraded and modern. The checking in and checking out process for your babies everyday is simply used through an app that is so simple and easy. I LOVE IT!!! The women in this school are intelligent, kind, and most importantly LOVING!!! I can’t express enough on how safe I feel knowing that my babies are in good hands. Especially after having to deal with abuse through their last daycare. They wake me up every morning with excitement, ready to go to school now!! So please leave the daycares alone and come to Genstar Montessori School where learning, having fun, and receiving love is all in one!!

I cannot say enough great things about this school. I always wanted my child to go to a Montessori based daycare as I love the teaching methods. But Genstar goes above and beyond. My daughter is 20 months and has been going here since she was 9 months. She LOVES it. She is learning so much and is at home with her teacher. I love being able to check in on her with the Watch Me Grow camera program. They have stayed open during the pandemic which I cannot express enough how grateful I am as my husband and I both work Full Time and are essential workers. They are taking precautions and teachers are required to wear masks all day.The director, Miss Alexia is responsive and always answers any questions I have. She is easily accessible and never fails to respond in a timely manner.We love GENSTAR!

We have been with Genstar for about 3 months now, it was our son first experience at daycare and we couldnt be happier! The whole staff is kind, and friendly, they have been very careful and attentive with the Covid 19 precautions, they greet the kids at the front door and check their temperatures, as well as the staff, all wearing masks.They provide good quality snacks and lunch for the children, the classrooms are very clean, and I love how they provide camera access to the classroom and also daily reports on how the childs day went.I highly recommend this school.

My daughter Jasmine attends Genstar.. She loves going to school on a daily basis, always happy about school. She’s 3 and learning beyond an average 3 year old, she’s been here a year almost and I’m so happy about switching here.. Staff always friendly and accommodating. Being a healthcare professional and having them to rely on was wonderful.. I’m thankful to the staff at Genstar. Alexia is always available to answer any question for me via email or phone. Thank you for a wonderful job.

Being new To the states we didn’t know where to start with schools. But Ms. Alexia took us in and made us feel comfortable. Our daughter loves coming to school everyday and I love that I can keep up with her throughout the day via the cameras. I like their meal plan, it is on of the healthier ones I’ve seen and Hannah is learning so fast – I’m amazed.

Great place!!! To compare another child care centers this place #1. Our toddler got used to it so quickly, we did not even expect, because he never socialize before. They have great stuff who knows their job.Unfortunately, we live too far and now we are looking for apartment near Genstar Montessori. Alexia is a wonderful person with whom we would like to cooperate further.

Both of my kids have gone to Genstar since it opened. It is my daughters 4th daycare and by far our favorite. Alexia, the director, is always quick to respond to emails and help accommodate the kids needs. The teachers are great and really attentive - they know my kids and us and are always letting us know opportunities and strengths of both of our kids. We love that they don’t do much screen time and are instead focused on truly reaching the kids skills. My 2 year old could count and name all the colors and do shape identification at 18 months. My 3 yr daughter has a strong imagination, plays pretend, speaks in complete sentences, and has a huge vocabulary. I attribute both of their success to Genstar. Would highly recommend.

I want to say a BIG Thank you to Ms B. My 18months old son loves her class. He learn new words everyday. He is very happy and pleased with his teacher. I will say his school is the best school ever. My son can now recognize/say letters A to Z, 1-10, some colors and shapes. This is amazing!!! I am very happy and never regretted bringing him to this school. I will recommend this AMAZING school to everyone.

My son has been attending pre-K and kinder garten classes at Genstar since the past 1 year and I wish he could go here longer. We love their montessori curriculum and all the wonderful activities they do with kids. My son who showed little to no interest in drawing or artistic activities is very much into coloring and craft work after he started going to Genstar. The school director (Ms.Alexia), my son’s kindergarten teacher Ms.Tima and all the teachers here are just awesome - very kind and nurturing. This is the exact environment we need for our little one! I am grateful that I found this school and glad they have laid the perfect foundation for my kid to experience the joy of learning.

What a awesome school, very caring teachers who go up and beyond, I have a 3 yr about to be 4 and a 12 yrs, its almost a yr my kids attending this center, they love coming and never wants to leave, teachers are very informative and keep me up to speed on my childs learning progress. MS. Alexia is a awesome Director she always have time for me anytime I am coming and going. Just stepping into these doors you get a good vibe with the friendly and helpful staff and since being here this is a safe environment. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY.

My son started going to newGenstar since they opened there doors. He is a speech delay. I can see a lot of improvements on his speech learning new things, new words, making friends .The environment of the school is safe and always clean and smells good, the teachers are very awesome and friendly with a lot experience. Alexia the director is an amazing person she is so friendly and lovely she is always there for you anytime need help.

I put my son for a trial day. It was discussed before that he was not potty trained and that he is shy he won’t tell the teacher. There were two teachers in the class and nobody changed his diaper from (8:40am to 11:00am). As a health care professional myself I feel that this is negligence on the part of teachers( not just one but two teachers by the way) I changed his full diaper at home. On top of that I noticed one of the teachers to be very authoritative and ordering kids to wash hands and all. I thought maybe I am just overthinking as a parent but when my son came home all the time he kept telling me “ teacher shouting teacher angry” when I had to put him to sleep at night he would tell me “ teacher angry” no school. Sorry but that is not child anxiety or separation anxiety. So don’t brush it off as anxiety! I am a dentist I know when a child is anxious. Not the environment I am looking for.

I’m a first time mother and I enrolled at Genstar when they first opened. I connected with the Director and teachers right away! They made sure I knew my child would be safe and enjoy her time at Genstar. She’s learning so much already. Each time she comes home she’s saying and doing things that I know were taught at school.It’s a great place to bring your little ones! I trust them and if I ever have a question, it’s addressed and answered! I highly recommend them!

Both my kids go to Genstar for the past one year. This place is awesome, each of the kids gets personal attention from the teachers, Ms.Semien in the after school room rocks, She introduces a variety of areas into the kids lesson, which makes them to be ahead in their age groups.I have no words to describe the infant room teacher Ms.Rekha and toddler 1 room Anujam they are amazing !The Director Alexia is very friendly and attentive to all our needs. In short I would say Genstar Montessari is another home for my kids.

My son has attended this school when the first open . When he started school there, he was two years old and didnt talk at all. After only a few months at this school, he began talking ! Now, he is three years old and not only talks, but counts numbers, recognizes all shapes/colors,, and more! I am blown away by the awesome things he has learned and the wonderful staff and teachers they have at Genstar Montessori Academy! My son looks forward to going to school each day, and I truly appreciate the care and exceptional services they provide to my son and me. The staff and Manager are very friendly and caring, and they go above and beyond my expectations every single day! Fantastic school!

Great teacher~! tasty and healthy food kids love~! very clean and organize place. My daughter rarely get sick at this school and learning more than just math and reading~! They also teach kids good manners, cultures, Geography...Price are also reasonable.

Excellent place of learning for my 3.5 year old son. From day 1, he enjoyed the place and developed liking for the two of his classroom teachers (Ms Tima and Ms Vidya), which made our life easy. My son would look forward to going to Genstar Montessori every morning and that took a lot of stress away from us as parents. In addition, he has been surprising us with learning on a regular basis (there was one day when he started talking about Rhombus, Parallelogram, Trapezoid etc). In addition, the director, teachers have great listening ears - they understand the issues parents face on a daily basis and have been very empathetic in suggesting possible help that they can do to bring down the stress for us. We feel fortunate to have Genstar Montessori close (less than 5 min drive distance) from our home. If I could make one improvement, that would be about the two doors and would like them to be automated and then ensured high security entry exit on both so that anyone other than parents or authorized people cannot get access on both doors. I am sure they will take care of that soon, considering they are open only for less than 6 months now.
