My favorite childhood memories were at Gotta Dance. I grew up dancing at this studio for about 7 years and made so many friendships and memories that I cherish to this day.Watching the fairytale ballets as a young dancer was so magical and became even more special when you get to be in them! Not only is Gotta Dance a fun atmosphere, the teachers provide high quality training and really care about the students.So many dance schools have very competitive environments, but Gotta Dance is a community of students, teachers, and parents that truly love dance and the joy it brings!

Gotta Dance holds a special place in my heart! I spent almost my entire childhood in this studio and it helped mold me into the person I am today! From the vast assortment of classes, to the amazing teachers, to getting to be apart of the magic that is Plano Metropolitan Ballet, I can’t say enough nice things about this studio. What I loved most about this studio is that it’s inclusive to every kind of dancer. After graduating and going to college I got to be a part of a lot of studios, but nothing compares to Gotta Dance! If you are thinking about signing up for classes, do it! You won’t regret it!

My daughter danced here for at least 6 years, and it was the best thing in the world for her! Miss Cindi completely gets how to enrich young girls’ (and boys’!) love of dance while having fun, learning discipline, learning the importance of strong teamwork and so much more.The welcoming, non-threatening environment with professional instructors plus plenty of help from those idolized “older dancers” (teens)helps every girl go as far as she likes in the dance world. Many of the graduating students went on to get valuable scholarships to college!Poise, grace, fitness, and fun are waiting! Let’s keep our girls active and busy!

My daughter danced at this studio for 14 years! She was part of Plano Metropolitan Ballet company too, and dancing in the Fairy-tale Ballet every year was the highlight of her year.Ms Cindy stresses an environment of respect and teamwork. Working together to put on a show is more important than competing. Every age, every ability, and every body shape and size is welcome here. Your child will never be told he or she needs to lose weight, or she doesnt have the right kind of body to be a dancer!I served on the PMB Board for several years and worked closely with Ms. Cindy. She has the heart of a teacher and wants only the best for each and every child that dances in her studio. Your child will be in the best of hands at this studio!

I danced here for a few years back in high school and absolutely loved the experience. The teachers were wonderful, the performances were creative, and the environment was uplifting and fun. I have so many incredible memories and friendships from my time at Gotta Dance. Highly recommend!

I went to this studio for about 11 years and cherish every single second spent there. The teachers are all so encouraging and welcoming no matter what your background is! It truly was my home away from home and I have nothing but good things to say about Gotta Dance! Not to mention I made some of my closest friends there!! :) 10000% recommend best studio around.

If you’re looking for a dance studio with a positive environment and lovely instructors, this is the place for you! I danced here for 7 years and looking back I’m very pleased that common dance issues like body shape, etc, never seemed to be a concern. A great, warm, accepting place for children and adults to get a solid foundation!

I taught ballet at this school for many years and loved the atmosphere! Gotta Dance truly fosters an environment of encouragement, development and support instead of competition. It is a safe and welcoming place for your student to grow their love for dance and performance!

I cannot express how much I LOVE Gotta Dance and the amazing teachers and community there. If you want to do something good for your kid, have them join a dance class here! (particularly ballet, but Im biased 😉) so much of my childhood was wrapped up in this studio, and a lot of who I am is a direct result of what I learned from my teachers, my classmates, and just the experience of dance. Really, I cant recommend them highly enough!

Why is everyone talking about K? There were other phenomenal dancers too! Personally I would take Lila or Kaitlin any day over her!This place is amazing. Ms. Cindi really truly cares about each and every single one of her students like they’re own. It doesn’t matter how old you are or if you’ve had any dance experience before they will get you the training you need to reach your full potential with constant progress. My daughter danced her for 9 years before leaving for college, now she is going to college for dance! They teach you ballet and tap right off the bat so you can learn to perform and capture the audience’s attention with proper technique. I truly believe this is the perfect environment and place for anyone to learn dance!

Gotta Dance has been my dance home from day one. Ms Cindi was my first ballet instructor and she is one of the most caring ballet teachers Ive ever had. I turned from dancer of the studio to employee and I have loved working with Ms Cindi, the parents, and of course- the dancers! I absolutely love my job here! From someone who has danced at studios in various cities and states and across various dance styles, Gotta Dance is a top-tier studio. It has incredible teachers and choreographers who challenge you while providing a friendly, supportive atmosphere. They emphasize technique within an environment that inspires a love of dance. Gotta Dance students get a truly first-class dance education. As an adult dancer, I LOVE the opportunities the studio provides for adults to dance - whether you are just starting out, returning to dance after a hiatus, or looking to improve your pointe work, there is a class for you at Gotta Dance with instructors who care and other adult students who are just as excited to learn as you are. Initially I discovered the studio because I lived nearby, but now I drive 30 miles to take classes here, because its just that worth it.

This place is a joke AND a dump got what you spend. Every class (for years) taught by morbidly obese women. Don’t spend years here like us. Drive further north to Pure Movement in Allen. You will be amazed at the difference in teaching style and quality of instructors.

I love this studio! I grew up dancing here and now I have a 3 yr old daughter who goes here. It is a wonderful school and Mrs. Cindi is the best! She is so kind and genuinely loves her students. I love this particular studio because the emphasis is on dancing. So many other studios are caught up in competition that it seems to take the fun out of it. That is not the case here!I also love that they dont dance on Sundays and are more on the conservative side with dance moves and costumes... come try a class here! And all you moms who used to dance, come try an adult class... its a lot of fun dancing again! :)To the cowardly bad reviews below (who didnt put their names): they do not have morbidly obese teachers at this studio- shame on you for being judgemental anyways. Theres more to a dancer than being a size 0!...And the best parts at this studio go to the dancers that work the hardest. Seniority doesnt matter-which is great for the dancers. I remember growing up and watching my friends (some who hadnt been there as long as me) get much better parts than I did. But the truth is, they WERE the best dancers for those parts and earned those parts with hard work and dedication, not seniority.

Just signed my daughter up for several classes. My overall first impression is that I am very impressed! Very helpful and nice staff!

I dont recommend this studio. My daughter attended for years and had small personal classes with Mrs. Cindi as the instructor. She loved dance and walked around the house always practicing her technique. Mrs. Cindi taught her for 7 years and this last year in a personally instructed her in a class of 3 students. She mislead my daughter and told her she might get a bigger role this year and then destroyed my daughters self esteem and love for dance by selecting her for the worst part this year. Now she has had the worst part three years in row but my daughter was one of her longest students having been with her since she was 3 years old. This is heartbreaking for my daughter and not the way a great teacher acts. My daughter has decided after 7 years to stop dancing.

This is Energy National Dance competition, and we noticed some beautiful dancers at this studio. Namely, Kashvi Srivastava who has definitely made a name for herself at Energy National Dance competition. We have have recently discovered that she has left this studio a while ago. however we certainly have taken notice of this young lady and studio. Never in our seventy five years of hosting Dance competitions have we seen a dancer with such great musicalty,fluidity,grace,and control as this young lady. We would like to give a shout out to this studio and Kashvi Srivastava and we know we will see her name in lights within the coming years.

I was part of Thrive dance studio and they were good my daughter had Ms.Tatiana Peffers. She loved dancing there and thought that they had great dances and focused on technique until I found Gotta Dance. My daughter was going agianst many dancers and Thrive normally does good at competitions however I was AMAZED and ASTONISHED by one little dancer I remember her name it was Kashvi Srivastava and she had performed so flawlessly and my daughter got worked up after seeing hti girl dance. And the whole audience knew that this Kashvi Srivastava girl would win the competition and she scored a perfect score and won the ENTIRE cmpetition. This was the studio she went to. I this place to transfer my daughter instantly. They were so nice and filled me in they even let my daughter try out for the team Kashvi was on(select team) which you had to try out for. Sadly my daughter didnt make the select so we signed up for normal classes because my daughter said she didnt want to compete on the regular team. I later learned that the kids here have won hundereds of titles,gone to several competetions,and this studio can say that they have dancers in BROADWAY SHOWS. The select team is very intense if you make it you have to NAIL It! They have to commit to it,be there for many hours,take all styles of dance,learn dances in a week,and be expected to go out there and win...THATS ONLY FOR THE SELECT TEAM NORMAL CLASSES AND OTHER TEAMS HAVE MORE REASONABLE AGENDAS. The teachers work so hard here and they make stuff like broadway stars they teach babies to adults and are very caring! I do reccommend this place and if your kid has free time and is an amzing dancer consider trying out for the select team!
