A Great School for our grandchildren! We enrolled our oldest grandchild in pre-K. He went on to complete K there. His happiness at the school was only exceeded by what he learned. I will admit I was surprised when he began to write his own stories, to divide large numbers and to speak with a vocabulary that far exceeded his age. Intellectually - and socially - Ahwatukee Foothills Montessori is superb. The teachers are well-trained with high expectations for the children in a caring environment. Now a second grandchild is enrolled. At 3 years, he looks forward to going to the school everyday.

AFM is awesome. You feel like you are part of a family the second you walk in. My son has thrived and I have seen so much growth since he started.

AFM is Wonderful school. Kids started going to AFM-Ahwatukee when they were 2.5 year old. Initial days were challenging because we use native language at home but as time passes my kids absolutely loved there. They pretend play teacher and very proudly be miss Maria and miss Catherine. Teachers and other staff is really caring and loving. We were very happy with school. social development, communication, celebration, extra activity and much more making AFM as parents choice.

AFM was a great place for our son to begin his journey in education. He graduated recently after having been there for 2.5 years. Its an excellent environment which promotes all round development of the child - academics, taking responsibility for self, social and emotional regulation, participating in a community, stage performance, art, music and many others. He was well nurtured by the very wonderful staff. As a Montessori environment, each child can progress at the pace which is best suited for them. One unique aspect of AFM is how as parents we can be involved in this process. Different parents have different expectations from the pre-school environment. We discussed about our expectations with his teacher Ms. Arminder and were amazed by her willingness to listen to our inputs and encourage our son to be the best he can be. AFM definitely played a major role in moulding his character. Now he is a curious talkative little man who thinks school is a fun and a creative place. Our son leaves the school with confidence and enthusiasm for grade school and the learning process. We are very happy and grateful for the experience!

AFM has been a part of our childrens lives for almost 7 years now. Our older daughter spent 4 wonderful years there, and now our younger one is headed into her 3rd year. AFM provides a great balance of academic instruction along with true Montessori methods of learning. Its true, kids at AFM start reading at the age of 3! And their reading skills are way ahead of their peers by the time theyve graduated kindergarten. The same goes for Math ; Montessori methods are gently incorporated to give the children a strong number sense and they go on to do very well at Math. But what preschoolers and toddlers need more than any of the above is a safe, loving environment where they learn to work together, be kind to each other, engage in lots of free play, and build friendships. And in this regard, AFM goes above and beyond.

Our 3 year old started AFM Ahwatukee Campus in the summer of 2016 and he is a graduate kinder this year and both him and us thoroughly enjoyed his accomplishments and journey with AFM.Academics (Phonics, sounds, numbers) is an integral part of a child’s development and AFM provided him with the all the right materials, guidance & Montessori techniques but what really stood out about their program was cultivating the “Love for Learning”. He is an avid reader at 6 now and reads at a 2nd /3rd grader level and the best part is his love for reading. AFM and their wonderful teachers built a solid foundation for overall character development, social & leadership skills that you need to be successful. We are very happy with the decision we took for him and his younger brother will also continue with the same path.

My son went to Ahwatukee Montessori School in 1998, and couldn´t have been happier. His interest in sciences and arts has been endless ever since that unforgettable experience. I am so thankful for the love and professionalism of the teachers. Now he just finished his freshman year at Georgia Tech. It´s been a long way since those first years but his actual success couldn´t have been possible without this great beginning. Thank you!!

Our younger daughter (3 years) just joined about a couple of months ago. We were a little unsure as to how she was going to integrate into the school having come from a different country. One day (about 10 days after she joined) after i picked her up, we were riding home and she said I like this school.

My older daughter used to go to AFM and the younger one is currently enrolled. Our experience with the school has been great. The teachers and staff are very loving and are great with the children. They are academically very strong especially in math and reading and make learning fun for the kids. Kudos to the staff and teachers at AFM, I would recommend the school to anybody who is looking for a great Montessori environment for their children.

My daughter graduated from AFM and currently my son is going there. We absolutely love this school. Teachers are so good and loving, they treat all kids as there own. Kids learn a lot here and faster then any other school but dont even realize they are studying as teachers make it more fun for them. I had trouble to find other school for my daughter when she finished AFM as no other school can match the expectation/standards that AFM sets.
