5 Stars Plus!!! These classes will really teach you the true Argentine Tango. The classes go beyond just learning the movements but also the intention behind the movements. You learn to listen to the music and to interpret the music through your body and to share that experience with your partner. This is what Id been looking for! Finally found it here in AZ. Im having a wonderful time! Plus they sell shoes! Let me say this, they are great shoes!!! They were comfortable from day one!!! The designs are so unique! This is truly a special shoe. Im 42 years old, average height and weight, got mine in a 7 1/2 and they fit true to size. (Its like they were made just for me, perfect!) I wear these shoes out for special occasions and always get compliments. I use them for tango and they are so cute and so comfortable I also wear them to work. Cant be happier with my purchase.

I just completed a 10 class package at Tango Academy Arizona and could not recommend the classes or instructor more. The teacher is from Argentina and teaches you an authentic Argentinian tango, which you cant find anywhere else in the valley. He goes beyond teaching just positions and steps but instead dives deeper into the emotions and feelings behind the movements. It is a great activity to further connect with your partner in a new and fun way!

We just completed a 10 week series of lessons with Jorge-Luis, and believe me when I tell you he is the real deal. From the beginning he has taught us about the culture and music that drives the movement of True Argentine Tango. I have no experience dancing tango, but Jorge Luis made it easy to learn. He took personal attention to what we were doing so we could feel like real dancers from our first lesson.
