Everyone there is amazing my baby is always excited to be there!! All of the children are always happy and excited to come to day care. That is how you truly know this place is amazing!!! I highly recommend this preschool. Why? Here are a few reasons:1. After a dreadful experience at a nearby daycare, they were a complete 180 in experience for us as parents and our daughter.2. Our daughter loves her teachers, especially Ms. Korie in the toddler room. She talks about her at home. We know she has a lot of fun.3. They give us daily updates and cute pictures of our daughter throughout the day4. They give updates on the Covid situation, so if a parent or staff member informs the school they have COVID-19 they are completely transparent by informing all parents and take the necessary measures to protect the staff and students in order to keep the school open. We greatly appreciate that.5. When our daughter had to quarantine they shut off billing for the 2 weeks she was not in their care. Not every daycare does that and it was sincerely appreciated.6. All of the staff are always very pleasant at the door, and are happy to see the kids coming and going. I see the empathy and love they have for the kids, which I noticed was lacking at the other daycare we attended.7. Reasonable pricing. While daycare in general is expensive, I feel the quality of service is worth every penny. If you are considering a daycare, this would be a good one to do a walk through with. Great quality school. Danica the director is very sweet, the school is in great hands.

We could not be more happy with our change to PCA. Our 18 month old seems happier than ever - no tears at drop off and I love, love, love all the photos Miss Dijah provides through the KidsReports app. PCA has changed our lives in regards to the morning routine. They provide whole milk, two snacks (usually cereal / crackers with fruit or cheese or sunflower butter) & lunch (about 50% of the time its something warm I wouldnt have been able to send into a normal daycare effectively). No need for me to prep a weeks worth of lunch and snacks over the weekend. Also a plus for us was the standard pricing for the hours of 6:30am to 6pm. Our son enjoys the daily outdoor time on their age appropriate jungle gym and crafts they complete. Due to Covid drop off / pick up can take some time (parents do not enter the school), but we prefer safety over speed, so its not a problem for us. Also, something to note is this is a nut free school. Not a deciding factor for us, but families with nut allergies can feel safe here. We feel very blessed to have found PCA and look forward to many years here.

My daughter started early Preschool here at the age of 3. She wasn’t fully potty trained yet and they helped enormously in this area. My daughter has grown so much confidence and skills in her art and letters. The school does “parent’s night out” almost every month. You pay a little extra for them to take your kiddos (even the ones not enrolled) and they feed them pizza and they watch movies. My daughter loves it and we get a little alone time. This school has been truly amazing to us. We love it here.

My son has been coming here since he was born, and we have had no worries leaving him here. Knowing that we can drop him off and he will be learning basic fundamentals and then some. The staff and teachers are great with the kids and it is comforting to know that they remember the parents names and the children’s name. He is in toddler B right now and he has loved all his teachers through his journey, and it’s nice to see when I drop him off that he previous teachers still ask how is he doing and say hi to him.

When doing so, I get a delivery failure message. This is frustrating and takes up time. The teachers care for him and his safety is number 1! They have a learning program and outside play, he gets good square meals and when I leave from dropping him off I have no question in my mind that he isnt going to be safe or having fun! This preschool has truly put my mind at ease and I can work knowing he is well cared for which is a HUGE weight lifted as any mom would know! Tara C. :)

Were a happy PCA family of nearly 4 years & counting. My daughter has been thriving in the infant rooms and we were thrilled to learn recently that my sons 3 year old program was already covering many of the curriculum points of the local kindergartens - weve got a whole year before we enroll for kindergarten, but this preschool has provided a good foundation while still being SO much fun. We love the events, the mix of daytime activities, optional extracurriculars and daily communication with teachers.

We love Phoenix Childrens Academy. Our daughter started attending when she was 4 months old. We researched several preschools much closer to home for us, but ultimately decided wed rather drive further and send her here. Shes now 3 years old and loves going to school. We get daily reports emailed to us with how her day went and pictures of her participating in school crafts and activities. The teachers are all great and the school is welcoming. They do lots of different activities (holiday parties, snow days, theme weeks, parents night out, funny school pictures, etc) and do a great job of involving parents and siblings. We definitely recommend PCA for any parent looking for a preschool for their child.

The director, Miss Katie, has a warm and welcoming vibe to her school, and weve been very happy with all the teachers weve had up to this point! Everyone is very communicative and friendly, and the school has fun events throughout the month like Parents Night Out, holiday parties, and seasonal events. Last weekend they covered the parking lot with snow so our kiddos could experience what it feels like in the desert! We have been going to PCA for 2 years and our kiddo has loved all of his teachers. We highly recommend the director, Miss Katie and Phoenix Childrens Academy Happy Valley!

My 3.5 yr old daughter has been going here since 16 weeks old and we have had a great experience with just a few hiccups along the way. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. The infant room was especially great which made the transition back to work easier. Miss Laura was phenomenal and I look forward to my now 6 week old having the same experience starting in a few weeks. The facility is very clean and the director is very personable and on top of weekly and monthly news. There have been a few times I expressed concern for a specific reason and the teachers gave me calls to work through them right away and make me feel completely comfortable again. The only constructive feedback I have is that there is no such thing as too much communication so dont be afraid to engage in a conversation. A little bit, goes a really long way in the sense of comfort leaving your little ones every day.

Kids have been going here only 3 weeks and already have problems. Rates were higher than original quote. Brought it up to staff and they refused to honor what they wrote on paper, even after we showed them again what they wrote. We never received any notice about rate change. Saw the higher amount when it drafted out of my bank account. 4 month old baby had red mark on his face from being accidentally smashed into the fridge while being held by the caretaker. No report done. Being lied to from the start ruins the entire experience. Cant wait for any other surprises.

I love it that when I pick her up she starts reciting what the different colors in Spanish are.

*Update* Difficult saying this but as my son got older he started to share what was happening in his classes. It sounds as though the teachers are overwhelmed and maybe not hired for their skills and simply hired as a body to watch kids. Ownership/leadership changed during our time there (after the previous review was written) and we shouldve taken the hint and run at the same time. A teacher named Ms. Shelby made a very negative impact on my son and he still talks about how bad she was to the kids to this day. Asks why we left him with her. Breaks my heart everytime. We are almost 2yrs removed at this point and he brings it up out of nowhere when he does. It makes me sad that I didnt see the signs. I wish I didnt feel compelled to change this review but it was the right thing to do for all new parents. Ask more questions and when something doesnt feel right, speak up for your kids.*Old review* Caring. Understanding. They helped my child get comfortable in a new school and class while we transitioned from out of state. Their understanding and handling of our situation got us back in, even after it didnt work out the first time. Thank you PCA!

We toured this facility twice and this is what we saw:Babies (1-2 yr old about) playing with hair gel filled sensory bags that also had small chocking hazard toys and 2 of the 3 or 4 bags were leaking: babies were chewing on these! Good intentions, detrimental health and safety concerns.Furniture is very, very worn out and has many chips. These fragments were on the floor and corners, where small toddlers are playing. Some very dangerous worn out toys, from which small bells and strings can become chocking hazards.Understaffed. Some babies (in the baby room), were eating dropped food off the floor under highchairs. Not enough caregivers to look after all babies.Children are feed highly processed, preservative and artificial ingredient filled food such as hotdogs, nutrigrain bars, oreos, cheap bread, etc. They will tell you its only a once in a while thing, but look at their menu and extra activities (like national oreo day...)Caretaker turnaround is very high. From the information given to us, caretakers last an average of 1 year. Children dont have the emotional consistency of the same adult, and the adults dont invest in this short-term gig of caring for your child.Overall, this childcare faculty may be better for children at least 4 years old. At this age, a lot of the health and safety risks of this place may be reduced or removed.Managment will say they have space for your child on the days you need care, only to find after you pay the $175 fee, the days are actually not available. Then they refuse to refund your money, using their corporate office as an excuse. My conclusion: parents leaving their kids here are not looking closely at the details. Caregivers here are doing their best, but this job is not good enough long-term. This company is about making money at the sake of child safety and happiness.

PCA is a fantastic school and we highly recommend it! PCA has been caring for and loving on our 3 kids for 2 years now. They provide daily reports via email so you can see pictures of your childs day and read about what they learned. This school is top notch! The staff is dedicated to the growth and development of each child. When I first walked into PCA I was met by Angel. Her warmth and compassion to me from moment one was the reason we chose to place our only child in this school. When our son started going to PCA he was shy and apprehensive. He cried almost every morning as he was being dropped off. We started him in the 2s and he was a timid little guy. The one thing that struck me the most about this school was their compassion to his needs. At the time he first started attending he was VERY attached to his blankets (his blankees), they immediately responded to that need by saying if thats what makes him feel safe, then we will let him have them to provide him comfort. He was also still a bit attached to a sippy cup, also which they accepted. They said they want them to feel safe, and want them to feel like they are as much at home as possible. I had previously tried Tutor Time, it was a brief, and horrible experience for our son. They took his blankets away and forced him to be without them during his time in class. He lasted 2 days there and I pulled him from the school. The trauma of being separated from the things that made him feel safe was more than I could handle. He cried hysterically on the third day I tried to bring him, I knew it was not the right environment for our son. I wanted a place that would be understanding of his needs, and PCA has ALWAYS been considerate of his needs. They recognize that each child comes in with their own set of needs, their curriculum is of such that it gears to all the children, but they focus in on the individual child as well.We feel blessed to have found this school for many reasons, but the most important is that our son is cared for, he is shown compassion when apprehensive, supported when scared and most of all we feel like we belong to a family. This school is amazing! If you are considering PCA for your child I HIGHLY recommend them to any family of a child any age.
