This is the best welding School in Philadelphia. I recently graduated the program September 10, 2021. My instructor Chester was very professional and knowledgeable, he has over 30 years of experience in the welding industry I highly recommend going to this school if you are serious about learning how to weld correctly.

The training here is not easy but Chester will make you into a very proficient welder. Right out of school I got a great job and I have absolutely no complaints about ITTI. If you want to be a welder this is the only school in the city that will help you reach that goal.

There is nothing negative about this place. Chester is so far the most knowledgeable person when it comes to welding in Philadelphia. Got my certifications and right after that got a great job. If you DON’T want to learn how to weld this is not the place for you, if you do is the best place you can get into in Philadelphia.

I can relate to the previous comment! My husband just called this school today to set up an appointment since he is looking for a trade for steady employment. He was asked various questions does he have a car, a job, when answered he is in between jobs looking for career he was rudely told told I cant help you if you dont have a job... you dont get paid I cant get paid.. Hello He is looking to learn a trade for a career. Chester is very rude and unprofessional!

Avoid at all costs. You will honestly learn more by getting a cheap welder and watching you tube. If you take this class, expect to be yelled at constantly, to not have any of your questions answered, and only learn about weld settings or trouble shooting by researching it or figuring it out yourself. I started this class with 3 people, all professional craftspeople, and all of us dropped out because it is an absolute waste of time. Im really confused how this place has stayed in business for so long. Im not sure where another place to get certified is, but maybe look in Jersey, or anywhere else before coming here.

The instructor might be difficult sometimes but he taught me how to weld and now i have a full time job as a welder. So if you can suck it up and avoid being overly sensitive, its a decent program.

Chester is the best welding instructor you would ever get. The man lives and breathes mig, stick, and tig.. I couldnt help but laugh at all the negative reviews on this place. Every one who wrote a bad review wouldnt be able to hack it in the field.. awe! Wah!! He yells a lot.. a bunch of sissys. Chester only teaches people who are willing to learn and want to succeed, so I highly recommend not applying if your a cry baby. You will come out of this place with so much welding confidence and a job. I graduated and got a job next week.. at my interview when they put my pipe under X-Ray I didnt even sweat cuz I know I had a amazing instructor who thought me the best of the best.

Well since I actually went to this school and not having my wife talk for me. lol I learned so much from the man. Also before I even started I SMAW welded under water with Kirby Morgan helmets so its not like I was a noob. If you are focused. He will teach you. Whatever your money concerns are they are on you!! I am 25 and on my 2nd job. The man is over 80 btw welded for over 40 YEAR!! If you cant learn anything from him then damn youre in the wrong profession. And I would gladly show you my tig overhead skills anyday!
