My kids have been going to this daycare for 5years now. I love love this place. I feel absolutely comfortable that my kids are in the right hands and are safe. The curriculum is amazing and helps prepare the children for kindergarten.

My oldest son been going here since he was 2 months and now is 7 and he’s on a 4th grade reading level while in the 1st grade, the staff is eager about the kids learning and my other 3 children love the school also . I recommend if your looking for a good daycare in South Philly here it the perfect place

I have been apart of the Discovery place family for almost 7 years. The staff genuinely care about the children they care for going over and above whats expected of them. My god children have been their for preschool and return every year for the summer program. As you enter either of the sights, South Philly or Yeadon its clear the children are having fun while their learning. The Director Ms.Tonya is very firm when it comes to her staff and their education, making sure their knowledgeable about their profession in Early Childhood Development.If your looking for a great Early Learning facility, that focus on the family and the whole child Discovery Place Preschool is a great place to start.

I worked for this school for one week truly I was over qualified and the lady who was hired as the food service manager didnt have the skills or qualifications to be a manager basically I was doing her job. Last Friday I called her lazy because she doesnt do her job! Well Saturday I was terminated unfairly by this woman and have been trying to reach the owner Mr B since Saturday and he have yet to return my call and the school refuse to give me his number. The school is okay but firing people because they speak their minds and still do more than what is asked is unfair. Im not bitter but Im disappointed and disgusted that I was treated unfairly and fired without cause.

Ms. Boonie & Ailani loves Discovery Place & well place too go to my granddaughter love it here. They teach my daughter a lot. 5 star doing great keep up the good work.

As a former employee, I highly do not recommend this place to work or send their children here. The director is irrational and hostile. The director is also a theif and a liar. Witness her stealing my personal items out of my classroom and trying to give it away. This school DO NOT follow DHS standards nor PA state standards. Teachers are not certified nor have their degree. Very unprofessional and lack of knowledge of how to teach. Allows teachers to put their hands on their students and place them on time outs. HR and mangement is not supporting of their staff at all. If you want your child to be nurtured and grow academically this place is not for you. If you would like to be successful in your career in teaching this place is not for you. Very disappointing and waste of my time and money.

Discovery Place is a great place to send your kid, the teachers are great the kids are learning everyday. My son always corrected his mother when she talk. He always say u dont say it like that mom. lol

They give great teachers the run around and try to hard sell their teachers into taking minimum wage. Criminal. Teachers there qualify for foodstamps and more. Pay your workers their worth!

Discovery Place Little People is a wonderful daycare. The customer service is excellent whenever you have a question they will answer if they dont have the answer they will get back to you when they find out the staff are nice and welcoming and you can tell they have a passion for what they do.

I love discovery preschool 5 stars because they excellent in teachers, food, activity, and most of all my daughter has improve a lot since she started this program.

My daughter has been w/ this school for 2 years. I kept her there bc I really admired the ethic and qualities one teacher had revealed to me and my daughter. Recently new, unqualified staff has been joining the facility. My daughter has gotten hit/ hurt now 4 times within the last month accidentally by another student. I tried politely addressing the situation, but instead a teacher was rude and unprofessional, trying to argue. She tried to threaten me indirectly stating, with an attitude, well, Ima be professional cuz Im on the clock, but if I wasnt... I tried to overlook some downfalls in their business, but I will not tolerate unprofessionalism, uncertified staff, a lack of supervision and my child being neglected. I pulled my child from that school. DO NOT send your children here!

Trashy ghetto. Dont fall for the front. Dont work here or send your kids here. Using government funds and the daycares are disgusting. Fake business ran by incompetent people who treat their employees like slaves. I worked here for a month and got fired because I have a nice car - lol literally their HR person couldnt stand that I was making $14 an hr n driving a bmw lmao she wanted to use me as messenger to go to the post office and get coffee when I said no they had a problem with it. They fired me because my son was throwing up diarrhea and I had to leave early to pick him up due to the sickness policy. Being this a daycare you think they understand. But instead The hr person all she was worried about was my clothes asked me was where she could find someone to get her a Gucci bag like mine lmao. Disgusting.

I love the teachers. The are the best.

Director and Assistant Director use their employees, talk down on them.. Threaten to fire.. Dont work or send children here.

Absolutely horrendous!! Do not take your kids here. The management is straight trifling.
