My 3 month old went here for a couple of months when I went back to work. I loved the wonderful workers that watched her. They kept me updated throughout the day with the app they used. I felt so comfortable dropping her off and it alleviated some of my back to work stress. I ended up becoming a stay at home mom but when we’re ready she’ll be going back for preschool and elementary school.

Would not recommend! This place seems like a child’s paradise, and seemed to start out great. They kicked my son out for “behavioral issues”. When we asked for to see any of the incident reports they could only show us 1. They also said that one day it took 3 people to calm our son down and I was never even given a phone call! They were trying to make our son out to being this monster of a child with all these issues and making it seem like we were bad parents and ignoring them because I never received there email to begin with! From the first day they started we let them know our son was in therapy 3 times a week! I feel like we were basically put into a situation that we weren’t comfortable with when they told us the only way they were willing to take our 2 children back is if we had our son screen for a “diagnosis” and trying to make it sound like they were some kind of saviors providing us with all this “help” when in fact we never asked for it and making it seem like they knew what was best for our son! After all this our kids only spent 6 days there in June and wouldn’t refund any of the $1672 we spent for the month on childcare even though we didn’t take them out without notice and this had nothing to do with our daughter. NO compassion it’s all about the $$$$$$! Very unprofessional!!!I would also like to add that on multiple occasions I’ve picked up my kids and they were DRENCHED in sweat and there water cups were COMPLETELY empty. It’s 117 degrees you need to make sure the kids have water!

We love it here at Journey! The teachers are so caring, the front staff is awesome, and we love Chef Grayson making healthy meals for the kiddos! He even occasionally does take home meals as well!! The animals are so fun for the kids and teaches them responsibility! They have always put the kids health and safety first during this extremely trying year with covid, and we appreciate them so much for that!

We found Journey Montessori to be a failure first school experience for my bi-racial grandson. They do not embrace the individual child nor their strengths. The place was a terrible experience for a 5 yr old excited to go to school. He was criticized & ridiculed. So NOT COOL so NOT REAL Montessori. F minus for this place! Catholic School definitely a better Private School Choice.

Would not recommend this place. Not enough food in served, and not all components are served. Children hardly ever get fruits or veggies. Also, they spend over 4 hours outside in one day, even in 100+ degree weather. Curriculum is not worth the price.

We LOVE Journey! My almost 2 year old has been attending since it opened and she enjoys going to school every single day. My newborn will also be attending in a few months. We love all the staff and the facility is amazing. Wouldn’t want to send my kids anywhere else!

Hands down the BEST early childhood center in the Peoria / Surprise / Phoenix area. My 4-year-old son has never been happier! If you are looking for a place that understands child development and knows how to work with strong emotions and all childhood behaviors, this is the place. The teachers are all amazing, sensitive, and understanding. The curriculum is child-led, explorative, and developmentally appropriate. The menu they offer is AMAZING - all healthy and all organic. Each week children experience yoga, art, and Spanish! I havent even mentioned the ON-SITE THERAPY DOG or the pigs, chicken, goats, or rabbits! Truly an amazing little sanctuary for children in the middle of Peoria!

We are very happy our kids are at Journey School. My kids love that there is yoga, animals, lots of outside play and art. My older daughter is in pre k and I know she will be ready for kindergarten next year. The hours and location are perfect for us. We feel the school is very loving, nurturing and safe. The school provides delicious meals and snacks. My 4 year old can be very picky but having yummy, healthy meals at school is helping her be less picky. I also love not having to prepare meals and snack for school. Its one less thing for me to stress about in the morning. My younger daughter wasnt talking much before we started attending but her vocab is exploding more everyday and I know here teachers are helping her a lot with learning new words.

We love Journey School! This is my two year olds first time being cared for by someone other than family, but it feels like family. Journey staff members have all taken the time to get to know my son and make him feel loved. He is happy everyday when I pick him up. I also really like seeing the pictures and description of activities from each day so I dont miss all of the amazing things they do.

We absolutely love Journey. Our son has been attending since he was 3 months old. We could not have found a better place for our son to grow. I was blown away at how even the little ones have a daily schedule of play, arts and crafts, meals, and sleep. He is well loved and such a happy little guy being there. It doesnt feel like daycare at all.They also have adapted to COVID very well. They have mask policies in place and they do everything they can to keep everyone safe. Being an essential worker during the peak of things, I felt completely comfortable sending my son every day.

Journey School has been amazing for our daughter! She has so much fun while she is there and it has really helped with her development. I love getting updates and pictures from her teacher when she is there and I am at work :)

Most amazing school weve ever been to. Amazing, dedicated teachers and dont forget the amazing owner who truly cares so much. The food cooked by the chef there is so healthy and fresh. My kids love the school animals. We were skeptical when we read all the amazing things about it, but everything you read is true! Could not have ever imagined a better place for my two little ones! Worth EVERY PENNY!

Hopefully my son Azrael can join soon and be with his family the place is beautiful and the people are caring. Whats best is its family operated and thats when you know its built with love and family vibes
