My son requires extra (special) help and they let us down big time. No support from staff or principal. Not organized in the slightest. Also did not put forth an effort to help parents or students

It’s a decent school teachers are great. I went there for k-8 never had real trouble there... they are late on technology... I think they need computers. But the teacher to the best they can with what resources they have... school lunches are not good.

Great school, my kids are going on there 3rd and 2nd year here and we couldnt be happier. There staff is friendly and the teachers are great . Its a small school so every one knows ever one . i have even seen the principal helping tie little ones shoes. There serious about the rules and have a no bullying tolerance. Love paramount academy, i would highly recommend. 🐅🐾

I have 5 children that attend Paramount from 2nd- 8th grade and I am very pleased with this school. The teachers are wonderful and I feel like my children are safe and being well educated, which is extremely important to me. I am thankful for a school that hold to high standards in behavior and dress code and do not cater to the students and parents for the sake of enrollment numbers. Thank you Paramount!

My daughter started in Kindergarten at Paramount Academy and is now a Freshman at a University. She had amazing teachers along the way that taught her to study hard and work for what she wanted; as did I. The staff was always supportive through the good times and struggles of being a kid. She graduated from Paramount in the top 5 of her class. My daughter was guided by caring dedicated teachers and that has been instilled in her for the rest of her life. I can not thank them enough for everything over her 9 years of attending (K-8th grade). Teachers still ask how she is doing and how her College is going, that is because they care.I also have a son who has attended K-8th grade at Paramount. He has had his ups and downs over the years as all kids do; and is still growing and advancing because of the support of all of the staff. I have comfort in knowing that when he attends High School he will have the confidence in himself and his abilities academically because of Paramount. I am a proud mom of both of my kiddos but I know they would not be the same if they attended a different school. I am grateful to all of the Paramount staff over the years and yes teachers and administration have changed as they do everywhere but I still would not have changed the education that my kids have received from Paramount for anything. Thank you Paramount Academy - CB

Its with a heavy heart that I am writing this review. I have two daughters that attend Paramount Academy, my older daughter starting her 2nd yr and my youngest starting her 1st yr. The youngest was so excited and couldnt wait to start school....that excitement quickly went away. Into the end of the first week my daughter reported to me that she had been locked in the restroom scared and alone. She was bullied twice with one incident resulting in a hit to the cheek and the second with a hit to the eye. All reported to the teacher, school principal, and school owner. We have been to the school several times in hopes of resolving this matter but have been met with disappointing suggestions that in our opinion is their way of sweeping this under the rug. My daughter has been through so much in her short life dealing with many hospital stays, long oncology visits battling and now in maintenance conquering leukemia, to now have to deal with this! Its just unbelievable!!! Leadership is not doing their part to keep my child safe, find those responsible for her torment or in making the school a place where she can or even wants to be without the fear of being harmed. Hoping leadership does right by my child as well as all others that attend. Looking for a favorable outcome but regardless I will be rating the school again at a later time, giving them full opportunity to do the right thing. Yvette, concerned mother.

I go here now and as a new student i think the dress code is over the top i had recieved 2 dress code violations for my body being too mature for my pants. I do appreciate some of the teachers but as a new student i wasnt given a good impression at all and was treated very unfairly compared too younger students who wore the same things i did. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I like the school my daughter has started here since kindergarten she is now in the third grade, but I was wondering what would happen if she didnt attend school for one day granted she was sick that day as was I. And I wanted to know how the school would respond to her skipping one day of school. So I did not let them know that she would not be attending school that day, but to my shock I did not receive a phone call a text messag or even a email to let me know shed did it make it to school that day. I have yet to bring up the subject to the office. Because I want to see how long it would take for them to notice thier error. If not by the end of winter break I will bring it to thier attention and will most likely be putting my daughter in a different School this fall.

Its great if your white or Hispanic. Black? Prepare for a trip to the 1950s. A nephew was chewed out for not paying attention. His crime? Daring to ask a question when his teacher said Are there any questions? 10 seconds later a Hispanic girl asked the same question (because the teacher never bothered to answer it). The teacher politely answered without berating the student. An argument between students? Blame the Black girl. If you complain to administration, they either ignore you or find a way to harass you child until you stop. My brother liked the programs for his kids, but not the discrimination. Ive picked them up a few times. Some very good teachers. But also a pair who stared at me (white guy) picking up my Black niece and nephew with disdain. If you go and arent white, prepare for a struggle.

I attended this school from 2nd to 7th grade; I am now in college and this school, its principles and work ethic that was instilled in all of its students, has been the biggest part in helping me be successful today. The effort put into the students education by the staff at Paramount will affect them far into the future. I will always endorse this school as one of the best charter schools in the valley. It is worth looking into if you are a parent looking for the right fit for your family and for your childs future.

Awesome school, strict but fair. I read the negatives which were bitter towards the teachers. Obviously there kids could not be a part of an up and coming school. Seen kids get kicked out and I have seen kids get praise. A public school is forced to keep the trouble makers but not at this school. I love it.....

I’m not sure who hacked my account and wrote the bad review about this school but I’m here to fix it, and I really don’t write reviews but it won’t let me delete it, my kids have been going here for three years and yes we have had our stumbles in the road as most parents do but overall after some changes this school has been a good experience no one is perfect and there’s always room for improvement but on some issues I can say the school is willing to hear you out on them, very strict but that’s life.

My child was behind in reading and suffered a learning disability which wasnt getting any better in the Public School system. I became tired of the lack of discipline and my boy just kept falling behind. Since he has been at Paramount Academy since the 5th grade (hes now in 8th) he now reads at an 8th grade level, is confident and happy, and will graduate ready to take on high-school. The teachers here are devoted to the students, the environment is supportive and excellence in learning is highly encouraged, and bullying is not tolerated. The appropriate amount of discipline is utilized in order to keep kids safe and for the educational process to work. I love this school and am so grateful that I found it for my two boys. Thank you Paramount!

Went to get enrollment information. The person I needed to speak with was not there, as they had left early, with other office staff, because they had headaches. There was work being done on the school, with the kids there. Whatever was causing the headaches was still going on, with no thought to the impact on the kids we left with a nice souvenir... A nail in our tire.
