Would NOT RECOMMEND!!! Malena only cares about money. She will call you over and over to pick up your child over things they get paid for. She has left me in a bind numerous times. All she sees is dollar signs. She will replace your kid with another just to get another registration fee! The school is too small. She charges and arm and a leg for everything. If she would let her staff run the show and GO home it would be a much better place. She is a very rude, fake, money hungry old woman. I feel so sorry for her employees!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Malenas Mini School...our Princess was 3 years old when she started her first daycare experience here..from the beginning of our conversation with the owner, we had an idea of how and what kind of place this was..experience through many years in the business was a plus, but we were looking for a fun loving and caring atmosphere to help care for and educate with firm assertive discipline our wild little girl...Allegra is 5 years old and ready for Kindergarten today, in the short time she has been there, her education, learning skills, reading skills, comprehension, communicative skills, vocabulary is above average, not entirely because of us,her parents, sure we tried to spend as much time with her after work, but thanks to the nine almost ten hours she spends with highly educated, loving, enthusiastic, patient group of teachers that have become more than just family to us and her..our little girl has become confident, clear, controlled and well mannered...We could not be any happier with their program..they have installed a thirst for learng that we as parents dont want her to ever lose..Malenas Mini School have set the tone and helped shape and direct our little girls future education and for that we will always be Thankful..

Zero stars if it were possible. I called yesterday asking for an opening for a 2 and 4 year old. She gladly said yes. Told her my oldest was autistic and she turned him down after already telling me they had space. Saying she doesn’t have funding from government to accommodate him. DO NOT GO HERE. They are discriminating towards the different. Never have I ever. She rudely got off the phone as well. Bad school.

My son has attended Malenas for almost a year now for after school care and for the summer program. The staff is excellent and I have never had a problem with them. During the summer program and school breaks such as spring break or Christmas they plan fun field trips for the kids and my son really enjoys it there.

Malenas Mini School is wonderful! The staff is always so nice and my little is learning so much. They are a fantastic facility.

Melenas is on top of everything, my son always has a great time at VPK. It is easy to trust this facility, as it is long established and feels honest from the gate.

Mrs Malena was very stuck in her ways about sticking to her program. She refused to work with my child on his behavior and whatever else was wrong. She suggested Child Find to me through early learning coalition in which i proceeded with testing for my son and even Child Find did not see anything wrong with his cognitive understanding and learning skills. My sister is a teacher on Hurlburt AFB and has worked with my son a lot and she found nothing wrong with him. I made suggestions when she asked for “help” and she refused to take them. She said a lot of very bad things about my child even went as far as to say that my 3 year old son “needs to do better”. Very unprofessional place of business would not suggest.

Great school, great staff!! My child loves this place they have been so good to us over the years, and after calling around they have the best prices in my area.

My daughters teacher is great to start off... The playground is nice, and the facility is ok. The reason I gave them 3 stars instead of four is as follows... I have had 2 children in this school for VPK. One of them is a year older than the other. I have never once missed a payment to this school. I use a checking account just for paying bills which i used for my daughters payment. (It was Christmas time so the accounts were cut close...) I was double charged for an online order I made for one of my kids which made my account overdraw and my check to Malenas didnt go through. I had money in my primary account so if they would have called me they would have had the payment that same day... But for some ridiculous reason they sent it to collections that same day and now i have a $30 fee on top of the missed payment. (which keep in mind i could have paid the same day) I did call them and they said sorry that is what they do with all missed payments and bad checks. I think management should rethink this process and give at least one courtesy call if there is a problem with something like this. I feel somewhat violated from this situation.

We were previously sending our boys to another childcare facility in the area, but became concerned that the level of care had declined and that our younger child was not making progress in many of the basic skills a 3yr old should know (such as counting to 20, and recognizing letters and numbers). We made the decision to move our children to Malenas based on recommendations from friends and co-workers. We have been thrilled with Malenas for almost a year now! Our now 4yr old can count past 100, recognize all letters, write his name, recognize and write numbers, color in the lines, say the Pledge of Allegiance, and so much more. And he still has a full year of pre-K ahead of him! Our older child comes home with nearly all of his homework done, and hes had time to play with his friends. Hes very excited about the fun activities planned for Summer Camp. We could not be happier with the care and education our children are receiving at Malenas! We should have made the change sooner.

We walked in and without even talking to our child malena herself said he looks like hes special needs and hes underdeveloped which isnt true hes had a few surgeries on his face and his health record at his doctors is normal needless to say we walked right out without registering him into this school Im furious

Malenas Mini School is an excellent childcare center. My daughter started at Malenas in the VPK program and currently attends Malenas all year round for after school care and summer camp. My son, who is now in highschool, also started in the VPK program at Malenas Mini School and attended until he was 8 years old. The teachers and staff are very friendly, caring, personable and attentive to the children. They teach the children accountability and responsibility all while having fun. Ms. Malena runs a tight ship in her childcare centers and employees the best teachers and staff, As a whole they understand the importance of teaching our youth morals and respect for themselves and for others.. Not only have I had the best experiences with my children attending Malenas Mini School, but I have also heard the same from many friends, co-workers and acquaintances.

The greatest place to send a child and educate thier young minds. The teachers and staff are exalent, and the children get the skills they need to be healthy minded pre-schoolers. They are always doing things fun and exciting all the while being firm and sturdy. No bad complaint for this school. Loved it 100 percent.
