I made it a routine to take my child here to build himself up and have a great time. From the consistent updates to the gym, basketball courts, programs and staff to ensure it’s members get the best workout they can to stay healthy. Health is wealth. And the ymca provides you the tools to achieve that success in life. Staff is professional and kind which makes the environment much better. Great pool as well. Clean and easy. Ymca accommodates your needs. Please join and bring your family here. To start building good habits to last longer than a match in fornite!

I love that there is an inside track to run. Plus an inside and outside pool. The facility is bright, clean and there is good vibe. I never feel like anyone is in there other than to exercise, etc. Judgement free zone. One of the best YMCA locations hands down. I love it there. I continued my monthly membership all during the pandemic.

Don’t sign up! So glad I tried the two week trial. It’s a great facility, just not ran properly. The dead fly that’s been in the shower for the past two weeks makes me wonder if the showers are ever cleaned. Not sure why there are so many flies always hanging around in the showers to begin with. Basketball courts are empty but “fully booked” on the app, same for swim lanes. Going to the gym isn’t supposed to be stressful and other gyms aren’t running like this. I’ll be spending my money elsewhere and you should too.

Im a little disappointed with the outdoor pool . Its been dirty for weeks bandaids floating ect. Not once have I seen anyone clean it. For all the money you pay for the outside pool you expect a little more from it.

The pool is clean and well-managed. It is a nice, socially-distant fitness option and lessons are available. There are friendly staff members who are courteous and focused on their jobs - a great representation for the Y brand and spirit. Great option anytime - but especially during COVID bc YMCA is following protocols like mask wearing to cover nose and mouth, hand sanitizing stations, signage, distance protocols, etc. The only challenge is the availability of swim lanes - understandable since there are a set number of lanes and limited time slots based on YMCA hours of operation.

This place is actually nice but only when you can use the stuff. I pay $35 a month for a membership that for some reason every time i would like to use the gym they have little kids on both sides of the court an you cant use either until there designated time. I mainly come here for the basketball gym but it is either always packed or closed for little kids even though they have multiple classrooms they still choose to use the gym as a pick up area. That is my biggest issue. Honestly debating on canceling my membership do to this.

This is the best place for all ages and all abilities. My mum is a stroke survivor and enrolled in the Partnership Program. If your loved one is motivated & able to progress but insurance no longer covers PT & typical personal training is not appropriate, consider the Partnership Program. The Y shares your dedication to returning to an active lifestyle with compassion and professionalism PLUS have the equipment to support your goals.

Its a beautiful facility but so often overcrowded and hard to find parking. I liked going here but found too many people (especially kids) running around areas where I just wanted to get in a work out and be left alone.

Emma the swim instructor does NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. She traumatized my AUTISTIC son and he is now fearful of the pool. Hes been exposed to water since he was 8 months old. Now at almost age 5 he no longer enjoys swimming. Emma dropped both my son and herself to the bottom of the pool on numerous occasions when that was never communicated. After requesting to speak with Andrew it took 3 weeks to respond. I am not pleased how this YMCA handled this situation.

The indoor family pool hours are absurd. 3-3:30 then 7-9 on a school night? What the point in even having family pool hours at this point. They give the pool to swim teams instead of paying members.

After i just purchased a membership and happy to be back. i was a member years ago but never remembered them have rude old ladies working the front desk. Why would u have mean old ladies working the desk? She was rude and even asked me is it this ymca after showing her my pass lol.. then i tell her i have 22 dollars credit i would love to purchase a tee shirt she first ignores me then says well there out there hello there behind ur desk is this lady for real. Any other y would of loved for u to purchase something they sell. Very very strange.. she was very much unfriendly towards me whether she was just a real snob or horrible customer service. I am a member still.. And after my workout she gave me a really unfriendly look. Im not coming back disapointed! Hire nice friendly girls...bec from what i been told alot of people said she does that... i never in my life have i had a ymca front desk person treat me like that.. bec of her i wont be back..

Alrighty so I used to go to the YMCA for my after school program back in 4th grade and it was terrible. The counsellors pick favorites. And when they pick favorites the favorite kids or whatever are bullying you and every counselor will stay on the bullies side because there there favorites. Its just a horrible place dont send your kids there it isnt worth the time/money

I was jogging on the treadmill when I was approached by someone that worked there saying that my outfit was inappropritate and I would be asked to leave. This worker did not pull me aside, nor did she address me quietly, but instead was loud enough and bold enough that a few other patrons near me could hear. I was wearing yoga pants and a jogging sports bra which is standard workout attire for most, if not all, gyms. I felt intimidated, harrassed and embarrassed by the way I was treated. Unfortunatley, this same day I had paid for a deposit for my daughter to have her birthday party here. I went home and tried to find their dress code and came up with nothing. I posted my experience on Facebook and it went rather viral with words of shock and encouragement which was a pleasant suprise. Someone on Facebook did find the dress code buried deep not on the Peabodys YMCA site, but on a general vague site and with much research. But I dont think I will be using the Peabody YMCAs services after this experience.
