We are so grateful to have found Parker Montessori. We have children in the Infant, Toddler and Primary programs. Each classroom is clean and provides a safe, hands-on, play-based learning experience that you expect from a Montessori school. Our kids come home happy and are proud to share their work! The teachers and administration have exceeded our expectations. They have built genuine relationships with our children (and us!) and always take the time to listen and work with our needs. We also had the unique experience of overhearing Zoom lessons during the pandemic. I really loved this. We were able to see firsthand what the classroom experience is like. I heard teachers speak to my children with respect and embrace their curiosities. They took the challenge of e-learning in stride and made the lessons fun and familiar!

We LOVE Parker Montessori. We have been taking our son, whom just turned 1 year old, to Parker Montessori for about 3 months and we couldnt be happier. Our little guy loves all of his teachers and all of the staff. They are so attentive to him and treat him with the upmost kindness. He has learned an immense amount in such a short period of time. Our little guy is treated as an individual instead of just another baby in the classroom. We foresee continuing our journey with Parker Montessori for the duration of his pre-K years.

I enrolled my son in the 4 yr old class, and this was his first daycare/ school experience. I like that fact that it’s a Montessori school as kids get to grow according to the level they’re on, but that doesn’t stop the individual attention they receive from their teacher. Ms Anitha gave me the tour and explained the process and the Montessori method so well, I was impressed and decided that I wanted my son to definitely attend this place. Ms Vino is his Room teacher, and she has taken immense care in guiding him through this new path. He has grown so much and I honestly did not expect that kinda growth in the short span of 6 months. He is reading, doing puzzles, writing, doing science experiments all on his own. I have seen tremendous growth in his social skills as well. As a 4 yr old, my son already talks about experiments they do at school using terms like chemical reactions, air pressure etc.,I have no doubts about their curriculum as it’s vast and extensive, taught to the kids in a very fun kinda way so they enjoy it and it stays with them. The classroom looks so inviting to the kids with all sortsOf activities they can do by themselves, each having a part in their developmental skills. They also have other activities the kids can do after school on campus like soccer and piano, it eases my burden of having to take them separately to another place just for this. I also like it that they learn Spanish as their second language (some schools don’t have that option at all). Overall my son and I had a very good experience at Parker Montessori and would recommend it to anyone I know.

Parker Montessori has been a wonderful experience for us! We had initially taken our 3-month-old son to another daycare/school in Parker, but found the level of care did not meet our expectations, and pulled him out after one week. Once we toured PM, we knew this is where we wanted to be. The saying you get what you pay for absolutely applies. We decided budgeting a little more was worth the care and educational curriculum our son now receives. Ms. Sunita, the infant teacher, is just amazing - she cares for each child like her own. She is always accommodating to the parents and follows the schedule they lay out for their child. She also spends a great deal of time reading/singing to them and encouraging advancement in their motor skills. PM is truly a school and less of a daycare, this is much more than just watching your child. The director is very invested in child development and is constantly researching how to improve the curriculum in the classroom. Its amazing how much thought is put into each activity and the myriad skills each child learns. PM opens your eyes to the true capabilities of a child - and its so much more than you would expect.

I currently have two of my boys go to Parker Montessori and I cant say enough nice things about this place. When you walk into this place you will immediately notice all teachers and staff being very warm and friendly. They definitely are passionate about child care and specialize in the Montessori method of learning. Being passionate brings about a totally different experience for kids/families, and it is very hard quality to find in daycare centers these days. They are very flexible and will work with you if there are any special requests. I love how the classrooms are all so nicely equipped with all kinds of toys/tools for learning. I was very surprised when I heard how some of the teachers have been teaching here for many many years. To know that these people are the ones caring for our children is very comforting. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable school/care for their kids.

We feel the Director Ms. Anita and the class teacher Ms. Lori who my son really love is extremely knowledgeable about his academic and socio emotional development. He used to cry every day when we used to drop him at his previous daycare but he runs happily into this school (i would not call this place a daycare as this is way beyond what a daycare offers) and comes back cheerful. I feel relaxed as the school takes care of all his developmental needs and advices on what we have to do at home. Not to forget Ms Theresa at the front, a very cheerful, friendly and welcoming person. Thank you Parker Montessori Keep up the good job!

After a pretty difficult childcare experience for our two young boys, we were hesitant to consider another childcare option. However, after two tours and seeing our boys make themselves at home in the toddler and primary classrooms on a weekend open house at Parker Montessori, we gave it go, and we couldn’t have been happier. My boys were excited for the increased responsibilities that are a natural part of the Montessori education. They have gained confidence in their own abilities and are more persistent at trying new things independently. Without a doubt, the teachers are the best part of the program. Many have been there for years, and they truly care for every student. If youre looking for a strong option for your young ones, definitely check out Parker Montessori.

My now 4.5 year old daughter has been attending parker Montessori for over a year and it’s been a very pleasant experience. She had been attending a non-Montessori program at another school up until then and I did notice an overall exponential growth in all aspects after she started attending the Montessori program here. The administration headed by Ms Anita has also been very accommodating when we wanted to change programs for my daughter after she recovered from a brief illness. Even during the ongoing Covid pandemic, they made sure the learning continued by providing zoom lessons with a flexible schedule for all the kids. I’d definitely recommend parker Montessori if you are looking to get your child started on the Montessori style of learning.

Ive seen a lot of information about how academically advanced children become after attending Montessori. Its true, the pace of learning is astounding because there are no limits on what the children can absorb at this school. However, I was way more concerned with the environment. At another daycare, my daughter was very anxious and self-protective. There was a lot of screaming and chaos going on, and it felt intrusive. The focus seemed to be on hitting certain metrics, accomplishing certain tasks, and filling out paperwork. The environment at Parker Montessori is very different. The teachers tune in to whats going on with each child and provide a calm and accepting environment for everyone. My daughter is relaxed, happy, very engaged in the environment and developing open, caring relationships with the other children and the adults. The children at this school, are calm, centered, grounded and confident. All of them interact comfortably with each other and with adults. I feel like these things build a core and a foundation for my daughter to have self-confidence, self-awareness and security. The method for growing these fundamental attributes is very important to me in selecting her daycare environment. All that wonderful learning shes doing is an added bonus.

As a parent you want the best for your children and wont settle for less. After trying a few different schools, we made the switch to Parker Montessori and couldnt be happier. In only a few weeks, we started seeing amazing progress. In only a few short months, our daughter has flourished and become independent. She surprises us every day with a big new word (shes only two and a half), goes potty all by herself and without supervision, and shows amazing curiosity and willingness to figure things out on her own.Every day when we pick her up, shes completely immersed and engaged in an activity. She doesnt want to leave right away. Rather she proudly shows us her work or wants us to wait until shes finished with the project shes working on.Parker Montessori teachers are experienced, loving, and certified to teach the methodology. They pay close attention to our child, deeply understand her strengths and weaknesses, and treat her as a unique individual.I highly recommend Parker Montessori.

We started our 4 year old son and 1 1/2 year old daughter at Parker Montessori 2 months ago. Our son was at another preschool and had attended there since he was 1 year old in a parent- toddler class with me.We decided to start looking for a new school closer to home and one that my daughter could also attend with or without a parent. I came across PM and immediately fell in love with the school and the director. The director took me around the school and taught me so much just on our tour. I actually walked out of my tour in tears because I was so happy to have found a place where I thought my children would flourish. To be honest my husband and I didnt know much about Montessori and maybe were against how we thought children learned there. We couldnt have been more wrong. After 2 months my son has shown a huge amount of growth! He went from 4 half days to 5 full days at PM. He loves going to school and always wants to talk to me about his day at pickup. I believe his mind is stimulated in all the right ways! He isnt bored anymore and causing mischief of all kinds. It blows our minds some of the things he says to us and is telling us that he is learning! For me though the first thing I noticed other then his positive attitude is that he no longer talks about T.V. After school he always wants to continue with constructive play. At the other preschool he would immediately want to watch T.V. and all of the time. As for my daughter, well she loves the toddler class and is also growing tremendously! She is there two half days and I would actually love to do 3 days and she loves it so much! I feel like all of the teachers and staff at the school know my children well. They always make my family and I feel very welcome and happy to be there. We are so thankful for Parker Montessori!

I can not say enough about this school and level of respect, empathy and love everyone here exudes. They made the tough decision to re open the school during COVID and I have been beyond impressed with the level of care and attention to detail they have provided through this very uncertain time. My son started going back into the classroom this week and has been so happy to see his friends and interact with his teacher, who is an absolute ALLSTAR.They have given the choice to the parents on their level of comfort to sending their children back. They have done everything as perfect as you can during this period. I would recommend 100 times over to send your children here, anyone who has left a negative comment should be attested to user error in their situations. Thank you to Anitha, Ms Jenny and ALL of the staff for being awesome and amazing. WE LOVE PARKER MONTESSORI!My wife and I moved to Parker Feb, 2019 and found Parker Montessori. Our then four year old was used to this style as he was enrolled in a Montessori in Detroit. We have been nothing but thrilled with his level of development and overall happiness. It is hard for a child that age to move but he has made friends quickly and bonded very well with his teachers. We also have a then 8 month old who was in the baby room. We have since removed him as my wife is able to stay at home with him now. It was an extremely tough decision to take him out as he was learning so much and his teacher was an absolute joy. It gave us security and peace of mind leaving him with her as she loved our child almost as much as we do.Overall you can not go wrong sending your children here from the front desk to the teachers to the leader of this fine school we could not be happier.

I researched a lot of local preschools before selecting this one for my family. Parker Montessori is the only actual Montessori accredited program in the area. I wanted to send my kids to an academic preschool and not just a day care and that is what I found here. I have been around this school for the past eight years and am very happy with the program at PMEI. You will not find a work in the classroom that does not have a purpose for being there. Parker Montessori is a wonderful school with the most fantastic teachers and staff. We started our son in the infant program last year and the development we saw from him was incredible. Not only is the infant classroom very warm and welcoming but it is designed for even the smallest learner to learn and explore on their own. The teachers provide a nurturing environment as well as work on skills such as sign language, movement, and introduce the children to the world around them. We have recently started our son in the toddler program and already see a vast improvement in his language and social skills. It is pleasing to see the amount of independence and confidence that he has gained since starting out at Parker Montessori . Parker Montessori has been wonderful for my son. He has attended for the past 1.5 years and loves going. Not having a crying child makes mornings much easier. He had been crying every day at his previous day care. initially, I was hesitant about enrolling him at Parker Montessori as I was not sure how well he would learn the skills he needs to enter first grade as the students are not forced into doing anything they do not want to do. My fears were quickly eased when I observed the class and saw how skilled the teachers were at gently nudging the students into doing activities that they might now want to - either by assisting them or taking a completely different approach so that the child might learn that particular topic. In my childs case, there have been activities that he has flat out refused to do and since the activities were not crucial, the teachers just let it go. He has eventually chosen to do those activities on his own - just because his best friend was doing them. While at Parker Montessori, my son has become very self assured - he is hardly ever timid when we are out in public anymore. He has truly blossomed at Parker Montessori.

Our family put 2 children through Parker Montessori -- and bypassed many closer Montessori schools to do it. There are some Montessori schools that claim they follow Montessori and they dont. Some of them Id even hesitate to call schools; theyre closer to daycare centers. Parker Montessori stays true to the Montessori teaching methodology and meets all children at the levels they need to thrive. Both of my children went to Ms. Dee, who is a gifted and loving educator. As a result, both of my kids LOVE to read and are critical thinkers who excel in their gifted IB programs at their current schools. If I had to do it again, I would do it in a heartbeat. Dont waste your money on a daycare. Give your child the gift of learning that he or she deserves and go to Parker Montessori. Its worth every dime.

As a very happy and satisfied parent of a fifteen month old in Parker Montessoris infant program, I am writing to address Ms. Dedus review below. I am glad to know that Ms. Dedus child is okay and that she understands that accidents do happen, but I believe her concerns about the age range of students in the infant program are misplaced. My wife and I are grateful that Parker Montessoris infant program allows children up to sixteen months old to stay in the infant program. Our daughter began walking a little bit later than many babies, and allowing her to stay with the infants has given her the time to become more stable and confident in her walking before she moves up to be with the toddlers. The added time has really let her develop all of her motor skills in a safe environment. The infant program also has the benefit of allowing children who are between twelve and sixteen months to have a second nap during the day. This affords my daughter the ability to stay on the same nap and feeding schedule she enjoys while she is at home with me and my wife. So, I would like to say Thank You! to all of the teachers and staff at Parker Montessori--the experience has been wonderful! All of the teachers and staff have shown our daughter the care and attention every provider should give to the children in their care. Although she cant yet talk, we can tell that our daughter enjoys being at Parker because she is always excited to be there when we drop her off and is smiling when we pick her up--even when she doesnt know we are there. I would recommend Parker Montessori to any parents who want to feel that their child will be happy and well cared for while they are at work.

Parker Montessori has been the best decision we have made for our 2 year old! Since she started there in August 2012, her language has increased tremendously, she can count to 20, is now fully potty trained and this is largely due to the wonderful instruction and care that the teachers provide. We currently have her in the toddler classroom and we could not ask for more caring, nurturing teachers. We had started our daughter at Primrose in Parker and did not feel that it was the best environment for her and drop off was a nightmare. At PM, she literally runs into the classroom every day and does not want to leave when I pick her up!Communication is excellent throughout the school. We are sent weekly emails about what is going with the school and we are given meticulous reports about what our daughter has been doing during the week. These reports tell us what she ate, her toilet training progress and what activities she does, every single day. Kaitlyn, the office manager is fantastic, she sends out informative emails to all the parents on a regular basis along with keeping the Facebook page up to date. She is also there to greet us every morning and answer any questions we might have. There is also a reader board at the front of the school with all upcoming events.Anitha, who is one of the Directors, is fantastic. She gave us our tour and was a big part of our decision to have our child attend the school. She is very caring, patient and truly has the childrens best interest at heart. The cost of the school is expensive but it is worth every penny!

Reading at some of the reviews on good and bad does make sense on how it works out for you based on your current needs - Now its mine to pen down after several months. Okay, so in our case we had our 7 month old child going here and was well taken care off and was loved in the babies room: ate well and played great and always had a smile on his face. Well, until one day we were FORCED to move to a higher level class even after having several discussions not to move our child to the toddler room and not being comfortable at that time - where the disappointment just got worst - they had to bring in other kids and wanted to make room ( we found that out later). So, In the toddlers room - Mrs.Eliz***th seems like she picks her kids based on whatever and we found her to be partial and non-social, never smiled or greeted but had a grumpy face - sometimes eats kids snacks too (peeping through the glass). Never cared on what our child would eat and she did agree she threw away the lunch if the kids didnt want to eat ( genius ) - our child was never happy here at the toddlers room. I would give a 5 star for the babies room and 1 for the toddlers - so heres my average. Not to mention, the policy was changed to 3 months for notice to exit the day-care was ridiculous and they wouldnt change the schedule even after requesting a month ahead so they would loose their extra dollars - this is where I found out they were money driving machines.Anita and Beatrice - hope you guys are taking notes. We like your day care but we did bring it to your attention several times on some things mentioned here but nothing came out good and you guys wanted us to write good reviews

As I was getting ready to return to work and looking for someone to care for my three-month-old son, so many of the places that we toured left me heartbroken; small spaces with no natural light and worn-out toys. When I walked into Parker Montessori, it felt like coming home. Everything was open and light and beautiful. The infant room is a lovely space with large windows, wee furniture that is just right for the little ones, and beautiful toys in natural materials. My son has been with Parker Montessori for almost a year, and we have been delighted with our experience. His teachers clearly adore him and Ive never hesitated to leave him in their care. When I go to pick him up, he is often having such a a good time with his teachers and his friends that he doesnt want to leave. My only complaint is that theyre so far away from where we live, but thats hardly their fault. My daughter (6 months) and I visited the Parker Montessori school to take a tour and decide if it would be a good fit. The director, or at least I thought she was, I dont recall her giving me her name or title, asked me to set my daughter down on the infant floor so she could look at a mobile and get a feel for the room. About a minute later a toddler (she had to be 18 months plus) started walking towards my daughter then made a b-line for her and completely walked all over her then fell right on her head. We watched the whole thing unfold quickly. I realize it was an accident and my daughter cried but is otherwise okay. The thing that bothered me the most was why this girl, who was clearly a toddler, was in the infant room to begin with. She was leaps and bounds more developed than the other babies and was walking, sometimes partially running, all over the room. I cant help but think she is actually a danger to the other babies in the room. And before we left the room she almost ran over another baby before one of the teachers caught her...clearly the incident with my daughter is not a one time occurrence. I am not sure why this little girl was in with the infants, maybe it has to do with space in the toddler program because I learned that the girl had only been in the class for a couple of days. Maybe they threw her in with the infants to fill the last available infant spot in hopes that there will be an opening in the toddler room soon. This is an assumption on my part but the writing on the wall was clear...this toddler poses threat to the other infants and she was clearly not in the proper environment/class. Also, because the toddler was all over the place, she really had free reign and none of the teachers paid much attention to her, except for when they needed to intervene because she was posing a risk to the other babies. My daughter was there for 20 minutes and managed to get stampeded by a toddler...not exactly the safe environment I was hoping for. Based on the reviews it is evident parents like this facility, and I was really hoping this Montessori would be a good fit. My goal in writing this review is not to deter parents from the facility but to make sure they know how old the other babies are in the infant program. There is a huge difference in the abilities of a 6 month old versus an 18+ month old and I think the school should consider reevaluating their decision to place a toddler with infants.

We enrolled at PM when our oldest was 6 months old into the infant room. The room was large, bright and clean and mostly every time we entered into the room, none of the babies were crying. Miss Sunita was transitioning into the lead teacher at the time when she started. Over the time our daughter spent in the room we found that Miss Sunita loves every baby like they are her own. She helps guide them to reach their important milestones (crawling, walking, etc.) as quickly as possible and is also very proud of them (and herself and co-workers) when they do reach them. She will likely call you to share or snap a picture! She is very caring and also very strict with schedules which has been a nice change for a mom who isn’t good with them! The babies come home content, well-fed and well taken care of. We have since had another child who is in the infant room as well and knowing that Miss Sunita was there made it so easy to drop him off and have peace of mind that he will do great. He is a challenge to feed and she and Miss Tess have been nothing but patient in making sure he eats all of his bottles even though it may take a full hour. We are very appreciative of the great teachers in the infant room! Our oldest is in the toddler room now and we have loved all of the teachers as well. We are constantly amazed at how much she is learning and she also seems to love being at school. We have been attending Parker Montessori for 10 months now and absolutely love it. The infant room is such an asset to this place as the room is large, has equipment to help the infants learn to be individuals early in life, and doesnt have bouncers that would allow the teachers to just leave your child in a seat all day like other places we visited. My daughter started in the infant room when she was 6 months old and within a week started crawling. She is now 17 months old and has grown to be an independent helpful individual. She helps me put groceries away, put her dishes in the dishwasher, and put her shoes and jacket on. Ms. Sunita, the infant head teacher, is pretty amazing at her job. She has the classroom system down, which you usually wouldnt expect until the kids are older and can follow instructions, but she is able to get under 16 months old to stop, listen, and follow instructions. When I come in the classroom in the morning, drop off is so organized and she has my daughter sitting at the table eating breakfast before I even leave which helps with the transition as she just waves goodbye as I walk out. Ms. Sunita cares deeply about each of the children and is focused on getting them ready to be successful within the toddler classroom so the transition is as smooth as possible. I cannot thank Ms. Sunita enough for all she is done. I also want to thank Ms. Tess and Ms. Kathleen. The three of them keep the classroom organized and running smoothly. I showed up one day at nap time and couldnt believe the three of them were able to get all 10 kids down around the same time which allowed each child to get a good nap without being disturbed. I am a working mom who was happy going back to work knowing how great my daughter was being taken care of and how much she was developing. Consider this place if you have an infant you are looking for care for.

Worest daycare/Preschool in parker! All what they care about is money. My kids hardly ate anything during their 10+ hrs there every day. My kids were never greeted with their teacher (we thought she was another mom until she greeted other kids in front of us and we were shocked!! I feel I’m a bad mom for keeping my kids 4 months is this very expensive and yet bad Preschool.

We came to Parker Montessori from a national chain daycare. My two-year-old son was having a problem with biting and he wasn’t talking at school, even though he was talking lots at home. We moved him to PMEI within days of our tour. From his first day the biting stopped AND he was talking! I believe the instant change was because the teachers actually talked to him as an individual person and showed interest in his “work”. Also, the Montessori environment is great for him because everything has a process. He seems happier at home and is certainly happier during the day. We are so happy to have found Parker Montessori!

My little guy has been part of the Parker Montessori program since he was 6 months months old. We couldnt be happier. He has moved from the infant program to the toddler program and is now transitioning to the pre-primary program. I am grateful that the teachers and staff assess each childs growth and ability before moving them up to another class and dont take a cookie-cutter approach based on age like many programs. My little guy was 16 months old before moving up to the toddler program which was very beneficial because it put him in a position of leadership and responsibility in the infant room. He still seemed so little as he entered the toddler program, but he seems so big now. Its funny that way...as parents were always pushing our kids to excel and exceed to move up and sometimes we forget that there is a lot to learn when it seems youve outgrown those around you. My little guy is more conscientious of others and his surroundings and the confidence he gained by showing those littler than him how to do things is irreplaceable.

My daughter went to Creme de la Creme in Lone Tree for about a year before we decided that the amount of money you spend does not equate to a decent education or environment. My daughter was 4 at the time I decided to research Montessori pre-schools, having always heard wonderful things about them but knowing very little about the actual pedagogy. I toured Parker Montessori with their new director... she was literally still unpacking boxes when we arrived. She toured us around and gave us an overview of the curriculum and took us into some classrooms. The first thing I noticed was that the children were quiet and very involved in their work. Coming from Creme this was extremely noticeable because the children there were always screaming and running and crying and there was always a stressed out teacher somewhere in a corner ignoring the commotion. But at Parker Montessori I was very impressed with the curriculum and the Montessori method and apparently the children were too. The children are calm, the teachers are calm, the whole environment was just very different. We did look at a few other schools but I didnt like any as much as this one. So we enrolled her full time in Mrs. Anns class for ages 3-6 and my daughter has been going for about 5 months and I cant even begin to explain how thrilled we are. All of the staff all know her by name and they are warm, friendly, down-to-earth and communicative. Shes grown tremendously in her academics, her math, reading, writing and her thirst for knowledge. She wants to go to school and she loves her teachers. Theres a lot of parental involvement and opportunities to volunteer. I always receive newsletters, emails, calendars and there are plenty of parent in-services to talk about the Montessori method and what your child is working on. We are just so blessed to have found this place. The only downside is that my daughter will only be able to attend until she is 6, so for one more year. We will be sad to go, but so grateful for the experience!

My elder son attended Parker Montessori during his tender years and I think he has benefited from his learning he got from from teachers at Parker Montessori.. The practice of the Montessori curriculum was done very well at this school... (unlike few other Montessori schools in the south Denver area)

After moving to Parker, my wife and I had quite the time finding a daycare that we felt comfortable having our son (3.5 months old at the time) attend. He is now 6.5 months and has been in the infant room at Parker Montessori for the past couple of months, and we could not be happier. When touring the school and meeting the lead infant room teacher, Miss Sunita, we knew immediately that this was the school for our son. Aside from the Montessori curriculum, there is something different about this school/infant care. The teachers truly care about the children, which unfortunately did not always appear that way at a number of schools we considered. From talking with Miss Sunita on the tour and many times since then, it is extremely evident how much she simply loves babies and enjoys caring for them, and it shines through in the way she treats and interacts with them.Naturally, my wife and I expected to have a tough time leaving our first child at such a young age in someone elses care during the day, but we were very fortunate to have found Parker Montessori and the entire infant room team of Miss Sunita, Miss Tess, and Miss Tanya. Their desire to care and love our son and all of the children in the class makes it easy to drop him off every day and gives us a great sense of comfort.Clearly, I highly recommend Parker Montessori, and if you are looking for infant care I suggest taking a tour, spend time in the infant room to just observe, and engage in conversation with Miss Sunita. Her clear passion for caring for babies and fun and friendly demeanor with the infants and me played a big part in wanting our son to be in her class. We are very lucky to have found Miss Sunita and PM!

As many of the other reviews, we cant say enough good things about Parker Montessori. Our daughter is 4 and has been at Parker Montessori in Ms. Dees class for the last year and a half. We have dozens of stories about the great teachers and staff but had to narrow it to a handful that have been most important for our family so that we could fit it into a review.Education: Our daughter turned 4 this summer, and she is writing and starting to read. Were reasonably well-educated, driven individuals, and we are constantly amazed at our daughters vocabulary, facts about our country and the rest of the world, and her incredible independence and willingness to try new things. Not only is she learning traditional subjects, but she is also learning to care for others, how to socialize and work through issues, and how to respect the people around you (both your peers and adults).Everyone in the building loves the kids and knows them all individually. Ill talk about her teachers but everyone knows and cares about the kids, from Ms. Jamie at the front desk to Ms. Ruth-Ann who runs aftercare to Ms. Layla who teaches Spanish.Ms. Dee and Ms. Marcia: They are wonderful educators, and they love our child. They push her when appropriate and embrace her when she needs it. Ms. Dee calls anytime there is an incident in the classroom (yes, incidents happen with a room full of 3-6 year olds though they are rare at PMEI). She is always available to speak with parents and talk through changes in behavior or any issues. Beyond the basics, they are fun-loving, happy, thoughtful human beings. When they took the kids to Flat Acres Farm a few weeks ago, we looked over and there was Ms. Dee on the trampoline with the kids! They support them, they teach them, they are proud of each and everyone of them, and they love them like their own.Administration (Ms. Anitha and Ms. Beatrice): We went to tour Parker Montessori on a Thursday at a time when we were unhappy with our current child care and looking for a better option. When we went to look at the school, there wasnt a rush to move her, but just a few days later there was an incident at her current school that made us want to move her out immediately. At the time, PMEI was in the middle of a summer session, and the school year was starting again in a few weeks. In any normal circumstance, you would wait to enroll the child until the new school year started, but after seeing Parker Montessori, we wanted to move her there immediately. I went back to speak with Ms. Anitha on a Friday, and she moved mountains to enable our daughter to start the following Monday.Throughout our daughters time at PMEI, Ms. Beatrice and Ms. Anitha have looked out for her and worked through decision-points with us. At an early age, our daughter no longer wanted / needed a long nap. Instead of getting frustrated with her for not sleeping at naptime, they came up with an alternative solution that would allow her to rest for shorter period of time. It required everyone to change processes a bit (including her teachers), and everyone was willing to accommodate the changes to do what was best for her. It seems small, but it required everyone to know and understand our daughter and care enough to do what was best for her.We cant say enough to recommend PMEI and only wish they had an option to attend beyond Kindergarten!

Our daughter has been attending Parker Montessori since she was 2 1/2 years old. This is her fourth and last year at the school. We are amazed by how much she has learned. The Montessori philosophy is so unique and it works. They also teach them to be confident and not be afraid to communicate. Our daughter was very shy when she first started at PMEI, but now she is very confident and just loves to be at school with her friends. We can not say enough about the staff. From the office manager who always greets our daughter with a big smile everyday, to the director who comes out of her office to chat with the kids to of course the teachers who are just wonderful. They are all just amazing. The teacher and director always make the time to talk to the parents if they have any concerns. We just love the montessori philosophy so much and we believe that our daughter now has a very solid foundation that will help her in the coming years. We would highly recommend PMEI to anyone who is looking for a good school. It is the only actual Montessori accredited program in the area. Keep that in mind.

Our family has just completed our fifth year at Parker Montessori, and it continues to be one of the best decisions we have made for our children. My older son attended from pre-primary all the way through kindergarten and, this year, made the seamless transition to public school. My younger son completed his final year of primary and will join the kindergarten class in the fall. We wanted an academically challenging environment that would allow our sons to grow intellectually, yet still let them be children. PMEI gave us that and so much more. My children have been loved, respected, and nurtured by a group of professionals who understand the importance of early childhood development and take their jobs very seriously -- but never too seriously to still have fun. I am beyond pleased with the skills and knowledge my sons have acquired at PMEI. But most importantly, my children were always excited to go to school. They have both grown academically, intellectually, and socially because of the relationships they made and experiences they have had at PMEI. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking to give their children a great start. We have not been disappointed.

My daughter has been attending PMEI for 5 months now and I am still absolutely amstonished when I pick her up from school everyday. Britnee is 19 months old and has skills that even her pediatrician is impressed with, many of which I would not have thought she was capable of at this age (ie. potty training, setting the table, clearing the table, using the words please and thank you, dressing herself). The list goes on. She is independent, self driven, and confident. She was once the shy, dependent child that all the older children coddled and now she is the mentor to new students. It is simply amazing and invigorating to watch your child, as a toddler, teach another child life and academic skills. She is developmentally, academically and verbally leaps and bounds ahead of her friends who do not attend PMEI. She loves going to school each day and is adored by her teachers, each who has taken the time to get to know her and develop their own special relationship with her. Prior to enrolling Britnee at Parker Montessori I was of the opinion that no one could be a better educator and caregiver to my child than I could. Boy was I wrong! Britnee is so loved by her teachers and classmates alike. We are truly privileged to be a part of the best Montessori program in the area. Thank you Parker Montessori!!
