The friendliness of the teachers and discipline that my son gets is night and day. I recommend this school by far the best school Ive seen. The schools black belt certificate will be known in Korea and all over the world as its a registry and this is one of the schools that is registered many are not.

We have been coming here for 5 years and we love this place. Love the leadership, commitment and motivation that master Kwon has. He makes the classes so much fun and gives mentor and learning opportunities to higher belt students to teach the younger ones. His dedication shows in his students. I would recommend his classes, if you are looking to take that first step towards rigor, self-control, and dedication for your kid. DO NOT GO HERE! I went of 3 years Its a scam. way to overpriced, he makes you sign a contract that cannot be broken under any circumstances. You have to pay for belts and testing. It is over 100 dollars for each test. He talks behind students backs, saying that he favors one student over the other. and convinces his newer students that they have potential and to join his sparring team for even more money, even if you are a white belt. He picks on students and under petty circumstances will not let them join sessions that they piad for. Further more, he seems to enjoy the pain of children as he pushes them to far and challenges them to unfair sparing matches. Master Kwon Makes the higher belts teach the students everything rather than do it him self and rejects the needs of the higher belts. Breaks are minima, as you are not allowed to drink water unless he says so and if you have any medical conditions they must wait for his permission. He charges way to much to teach basic tea Kwon Do skills that are otherwise incorrect in other dojos. To add on he asks his students and their parents to give 5 Star reviews. DO NOT GO HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A BETTER PLACE.

My favorite place ever. I moved from Chicago as a black belt and was looking for a serious place to go. This was the spot, intense classes with feedback from a grand master. Very positive and an amazing person I could always rely on, Master Kwon. He’s good with all ages, and is very talented. I recently had to quit after the location was changed and looking for a new spot has been very tough, no where is as good. Highly recommend. Some people are complaining about the contracts and money, but when it’s all said and done, I can say master Kwon has made me a champion. I can successfully call myself a 3rd degree black belt (training for 4th) because of Master Kwon!

Great instruction! My kids beg to come every day. Master Kwon teaches respect and technic but in a kind and fun way.

My Son has been going here for about 4 years and it has helped him quite a bit. At first he seemed to like it but after a while he struggled for a Long time. he’s more of a geek than an athlete. Finally after getting his black belt which took longer than normal he has finally turned a corner. Like planting a seed you don’t realize until a tree is larger and stronger how much it’s grown and how proud I am him. He has grown quite a bit and master Kwon runs a great kids class. He actually teaches every class and really teaches the old school Korean style. Now my Son was going to quit after his black belt but he’s gained Friends and enough confidence that he wants to continue, help the younger students and do the cool sparing classes. I’m a korean who grew up in the states and this is a great place for anyone regardless if u have a korean back ground or just want something for you kid to learn and master so they slowly build their self confidence and life skills

Myself and my family have been students of Master Kwons Tae Kwon Do school for years. I cant say enough of the life values you learn in each and every one of his classes, values that are taught as you go through your belt and sparring classes, values that you bring back in your daily life. Master Kwon has taught us to be humble, help and respect others, respect our country, be discipline and always do your best to achieve your goals. Tae Kwon Do is all about that, not just learning self defense. If youre looking for body and mind wellness, for you and your family, this is the place to do it. Id like to plug for my good friend Kwon, if you are going to take Tae Kwon Do, or enroll your children in a program this is the place to go. Kwon was an original member of the South Korean National Tiger Demonstration Team, he is the real deal. Think about it, in a country where the best of the best practice this art like we do football or baseball, he was selected as a small number of the best of the best. Kwon is also very patient and amazing with children, they will truly learn confidence and respect. Dont chance fly by night places, go visit my friend and get the real deal.

My son and I have been going here for several months and we love it. Master Kwon is great with kids and is an amazing teacher. He is an accomplished TKD master and you can learn from the best. I don’t understand some of the poor reviews because this is a great atmosphere to learn tae kwon do and get fit. Give it a try and you’ll see how awesome it is!

My husband, daughter, son and I trained under Master Kwon. Not only is he a great and extremely knowledgeable instructor, he works very well with young children and Taekwondo students of all ages. His personality makes learning fun while instilling discipline, respect for parents and others and encourages everyone to work hard. Our family highly recommends training with Master Kwon. Great Dojang. Master Kwon is a very good instructor. He is highly qualified and he is great with kids. He instills self respect, discipline, and persistence. Best place to learn if you intend to spar in competition or prepare for an Olympic career.

We have been so pleased with watching how Tae Kwon Do is changing our daughter into a self confident, strong young lady. I didnt like the contract at first, but realized how it has pushed us to keep with it, and Im so glad we signed up. Master Kwon is a master teacher, indeed.

DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT! We moved over an hour away from this location and they demand full payment of the contract amount on services we cant use. Threatening letters and phone calls constantly. Bottom line, its just about the money.
