I took a demo class from Shi Fu Wayne Hinton several years ago at a friend of mines church in Arvada and really liked it mostly because of Waynes easy going nature and humble but powerfull mind and spirit. At that time I did not have time to take classes but man I wanted too. Recently with a little extra time on my side I reconnected with Wayne and began private one on ones. I wanted to take at least a couple of classes before writing a positive review. Waynes depth of knowledge of martial arts is supreme combined with his ease of sharing his knowledge and wisdom makes him an awesome martial arts Master for me to learn from and I drive all the way from Brighton.

I first met Sifu Hinton when we were both students of Shigung Runes in 1995. We studied together over 10 years and Sifu was diligent about helping the newer students learn the correct techniques and develop their understanding of Kung Fu and Tai Chi. We still work out in his school and he maintains a high standard for his students and offers quality instruction at all levels. His wife, Shimei Hinton, works with children and has infinite patience in developing their character and teaching them to honor others and have good manners in dealing with adults and children alike. Kung Fu is based on self defense and that this emphasized in the instruction and testing alike. A great school with gifted instructors at a very reasonable price.
