My son dances with them in many classes and competition. Now my 3 yo daughter is doing a 30 minute morning class. We love it just as much as we have for the past 4 years! They are the best!

As a student and teacher in training at this studio, I have felt nothing but love and support in all forms of dance especially tap. It is well known at the studio that I love tap and it is definitely one of my favorite styles. We have had a lot of teachers go through our tap program and each one brings something new to the table and it helps us as students grow in many different directions. Our competition tap company has always been wonderful and really shows how talented our tap dancers are. With the Covid-19 pandemic going around, we decided to do a dance film series instead of our normal recital. For all the tap levels, we decided to focus on a specific move and how we can create counter rhythms and poly rhythms using this specific step. I got the honor of working with our tap teacher, Ms.Claire in creating all the dances for Tap 3, 4, and 5. Our tap company was given a major challenge with this film series because we had one week to establish our move and the counter rhythms and while it wasnt perfect, our company did the best they could and pulled it off beautifully. I would highly recommend coming to Parker Dance Academy for all styles of dance, not just our amazing tap program.

We have been very happy at Parker Dance Academy. The staff are excellent and professional. They do engaging story-line recitals. They even have classes for adults. We feel Parker Dance Academy is THE best dance studio in town.

As someone who danced at this studio for about nine years I do not recommend Parker Dance Academy. I was a part of the tap program for many years and its sad for me to say that the studio does not appreciate and/or care for this style of dance. I will say they did have a strong tap program, but ever since I left I have noticed that it is even more neglected than it was before. I watched the recent dance film series and for Tap 8, they didnt even have a real dance it was the same tap step for almost two minutes, and they did not have real costumes either. Does this really show that Parker Dance cares about tap? It seems as though there was no effort into any of it. Tap 8/Tap Company has felt outcasted in the past from the other company groups. As the cherry on top, tap 8 had to fight for their own dance back in 2019 because Lexi Steinhauser, who has recently taken over the recitals, did not include us in the show with our own dance, only the big tap production number. In the past we had both dances. Even though I loved my experience taking the class, I did not like the atmosphere of the studio including some of the staff and even some of the students.

Ive been dancing at PDA for 13 years and I absolutely love it here. I completely recommend this studio for anyone looking for a more authentic outlook on dance that doesnt just focus on the competition side like most studios do. My twin sister and I have been part of the tap program for 8 years competing tap duets and I can say that its a very loving community and overall very fun. The teachers are all professionals (not just in tap) and the community inside the studio is basically like a family. Because of the recent pandemic, PDA has come up with creative ways to keep the students dancing, including the Dance Film Series which makes music videos out of dances that the teachers and students create. For example, our Tap 8 film was a dance based off of the rhythm and timing of one move made into a complete 2-minute dance. We originally had something more based off of Aladdin which was supposed to be our recital this year, but as a company (and our teacher Ms.Claire) decided to focus on showing timing and rhythm techniques with a more laid back costume that worked better with what we were doing.PDA is still finding ways to keep the students going and I would completely recommend it if you want your kid to have an authentic and fun experience growing up in the dance world!
