I took my 13 year old daughter for a hair cut . Our first time there . Was very impressed. Everyone was very kind and professional. And my daughter loves her new hair cut 😊👍 The prices are great !!!!! I recommend all to give it a try I’m sure u will be very happy with everything. The School we went to was in the OVIEDO MALL . Today was my third time getting my hair colored here and every time Ive had great results. The two young women today were especially outstanding. They made my hair look like it went to a high end salon for a very small price. Everyone is always friendly and professional. Im very impressed! 🙂

I scheduled an an appointment & I came in today and showed up 10 minutes early. I also called before and they told me they could highlight my hair and fix the coloring in a full session. Let me also mention I scheduled this appointment for my prom and graduation which is this week so I was looking forward to having my hair touched up. So basically I get there & the student that was supposed to do my hair was very nice then the supervisor walks over and tells her that she cant do my hair because theres not enough time my appointment was at 12:45 there was more than enough time. She was very rude, yelling at me. I wear hearing aids so I felt very discriminated against along with my friend that was with me. The supervisor also tried to put her hands on me and I told her not to touch me. It was very unprofessional what happened today and I am honestly shook by it. I have never felt so disrespected. I called a week before, I called again to make sure AND my own mother called because this appointment was a big deal to me because of prom and graduation. Keep in mind my hair was already highlighted and all I needed was a touch up. Wow. Just wow. Me and my friend both walked out crying because of how nasty the manager was being to us.

I love this place simply because they tell you what your cost will be before they start. I dislike going to a salon expecting to pay $70 and leave paying $160.I’ve had color correction services and cuts here a few times.The products they use are of quality and the students have never let me down.

Did not get the type of education that I had expected from my tour. Way too much drama, my core teacher made me feel absolutely horrible about myself and when I got bullied by another student in core, the teacher had the entire class sit in a circle and tell me a bunch of negative things about myself. I wish I was making this up I really do. I would never go to this school again if I had the choice. Yes I work as a hair stylist but not because of the school it’s because of the work I put in after school. Go somewhere else if you have the option.

This, in my opinion, is the best school in the area to get your hair cut, colored, permed, or anything else you need for all ages and styles. Aiden was the cosmetology student who did my hair and he did absolutely amazing. I had a complicated color correction and Im so lucky he was the one to do it. He cut it to a style I liked and absolutely fixed the mess of bleach and box dye that was my color, he made my hair absolutely beautiful and it was a great experience, and the prices were great as well.

I got a very large haircut (13 inches off) and had a gradient in the back. This was my first time leaving my hometown hairdresser so I was nervous. Had a great experience. I had doubts about seeing students, but since theyre still in school theyre very focused on technique and getting it done properly, not like someone older who may have fallen out of practice. My hairdresser was wonderful and everyone was very welcoming.This haircut did take a little bit longer than it typically would, but this wasnt a problem as I was asked upfront how much time I said and I told her I was completely free. She took her time to make everything perfect on a difficult haircut. She called her leader over to double check things were done right before proceeding. I appreciate her thoroughness and attention to detail, and am happy to spend a little extra time for such a cheap haircut. I usually spend upwards of $50, I spent $13 for a haircut here and was at least as happy with the result.My feedback would be that the hours are unclear, since theyre not listed on google maps or the store door. I believe the phone number on google maps also may be incorrect since it brought me to school admissions instead of a line for customers.

I have been coming to Paul Mitchell The School Orlando for around 3 years. I have always had a positive experience until today. I scheduled an appointment with a certain student for Saturday at 10am because I was told by the LEARNING LEADER that they did not have enough time to complete my initial appointment on Tuesday. (I wanted coloring done)OK, fine. No problem. I get a haircut instead and make an appointment at the front desk for Saturday morning. I show up at 9:45am on Saturday morning and I am told that not only do I not have an appointment but that the student I scheduled it with is not even at the school !Highly disappointing 😕.

Terrible, terrible experience. Made an appointment for the special they had advertised on their website, the “triple treat” for cut, color and style blow dry. No one at the school seem to know about their own advertisements, the senior came, not professional, definitely not interested in making me feel comfortable or resolving the confusion. Basically, told me the special was a “starting point” and couldn’t tell me with certainty what the ‘ending point’ would cost. I’m not cheap, but if I’m going to pay salon pricing I’ll go to a salon. I ended up having the student remove the cape, when I made it outside I called the Aveda store, thankfully was available, received a great haircut and style with no hassle, that was professional, friendly and welcoming.

Yesterday I went to Paul Mitchell The School Orlando to get a color service. I graduated from the school over 10 years ago and know a lot about color. I like to go to the school to give students clients to learn on instead of going to a professional salon. I have always had a good experience but this was just bad. The student was so great and I would definitely recommend her. The Learning leader named Blake was very unprofessional. He was very aggressive and rude with his words and made me cry by the way he spoke to me. Not only was I embarrassed, but I was embarrassed for the student. The teachers that I had during my time there were way more professional than this man. He should be an example of professionalism and he was definitely not. Although my hair turned out beautiful it was not even close to what I wanted in color. And I know from my experience that it could have been much closer. I do not blame the student she was really very great. I blame the teacher and his unwillingness to communicate appropriately. I hope sharing my experience will bring insight to Paul Mitchell The School on how their leaders are treating their clients.

Honestly, this place can get a bad rep. But Ive been coming here for cuts about 1-2 times a year for 3 years and its always an inexpensive and nice experience, and I always have left satisfied. Yesterday I went for my first color treatment ever. I had such a wonderful time, Kali was my specialist, and she was absolutely fantastic. The teacher was behind her the whole night but also let her do what she felt confident in. I love the job they did and I will continue to recommend this place to people who are patient enough to go and spend the time. However, go in the evening, its always less crowded and in my opinion/from what Ive been told, has the more skilled and experienced students.

I am pretty new to the East Orlando area (moved here from Miami) and I went in today for a simple hair cut and BY FAR the best experience I have ever encountered at a salon. A particular student by the name of Alex in Phase 2 cut my hair was super sweet and went the extra mile to make my hair fabulous. I have very fine flat hair, Alex made my hair look voluminous and overall gorgeous!!! All for just $15. If you need a hair cut I recommend going here and requesting Alex!!!! He did a better job than professionals I have encountered in the past that have had 10+ years of experience, Plus he was very professional and polite. Definitely will be a returning customer for the school and Alex.

I have been getting my hair cut at the school for about 7 to 8 years. I get great hair cuts and am always treated wonderfully. The students are very hard working people who are eager to learn and do their best. They are under great care by their professional learning leaders.

Love going and getting my hair washed, styled, and cut at Paul Mithchell. Everyone is friendly and the students are awesome and teachers are great mentors..Paul Mitchell is located in a mall that has great restaurants and 2 nail saloons and great for kids to get hair cuts and go to the children museum in the mall.

Consider all the schools in the area before choosing this one. In the beginning this seems like the absolute best school. They make you feel welcome they make you feel important and they preach about learning diversity. But when your actually enrolled teachers say and do whatever they want. Higher ups will make it seem like they care just to get through the situation but no real reprimandation is done for things like harassment, stealing, bullying the list goes on. There’s no balance between school and home if you have a family it may be impossible to commit to school and your family at the same time or you may owe them MORE money for needing time for your family. Go to a school that cares about you as a student and you becoming a cosmetologist.

Great haircut! The barber - Harley was great and gave talk about new techniques he used to cut my hair so I always knew what he was doing. He also requested a before and after rather than just going ahead. I think people should stop complaining about the quality of their haircut when it was left up to them to decide the way it should be cut - i.e. Photo, Video. Otherwise, the best haircut place out there! 5/5 stars.

Asked for someone with experience, gave them a photo of what my friends hair should look like with color and cut. Was told it would take two and a half hours. Kept questioning color, was promised it would come out perfect. NOT! Was supposed to be red, looked chocolate brown. Had to wait for lightening to be done, came closer to color, but still not there. Four attempts at explaining a simple haircut. Right at the end was told the person working on my friend - it was her first time cutting a persons hair. Five hours later, an unhappy friend, and discovering they got hair dye all over her shirt $50 value - destroying it and not even getting an apology, just a too bad. NEVER WILL USE THEM, NEVER RECOMMEND THEM. BEWARE THEY Dont care.

Overall experience was great! I was only there for 3 hours for a basic hair color which I was happy about. My only problem was my appointment was at 9:30 and I waited 30 minutes until they took me back. I will definitely go back.

I am grateful to have this school nearby. I have been going here 3 years and the majority of students who have cut or dyed my hair are obviously passionate about their work and open to your input, as well as to learning from their floor manager, Andrea. She is very skilled. Their front desk manager, Allison, is exceptional. She really took care of me when there was a scheduling issue and I was upset because I was overlooked and on a time crunch. They really will do their best to make you happy and look great, just be sure to communicate clearly!

Ive been coming to their school for 10 years. At least. They have great learning leaders, great front desk, awesome customer service. Theyre always willing to help, always willing to have someone knowledgeable answer any questions. Theyre great with my kids, the prices are awesome. The service is always great. I have some crazy mixed girl hair and she’s the only person I trust to take such good care of me. She’s professional, courteous, driven and takes her time to listen to her clients. I went to school here and graduated back in June 2018. I have had great experiences! I come in to let them practice on me and they are always great! Please keep in mind, this is a school and they are still learning 😊 but I believe they do a great job.

I loved my cuts. I go literally every month to get a haircut. All you need to do is tell them exactly what you want. If they do it wrong TELL THEM! DONT JUST LEAVE!

Disclaimer: only go here if you feel totally comfortable telling an optimistic and nervous student that they didnt give you what you asked for. If you are comfortable saying exactly what you want, you can normally get there. The instructors check your haircut before you leave but you cant rely on them to point out what is wrong because they may assume you are happy with what you got. You need to speak up. Also be prepared for it to take longer than a normal salon. These are students so its normal that they take thier time and try not to mess up. I have loved both the cuts I got but it did take me telling the instructor that it didnt come out right. Sometimes the instructor fixes it and sometimes the student does. The building is really pretty on the inside and I love the young atmosphere they have going in there. Worth going if you have the time and the ability to speak up.

The service is great and the products are amazing... My daughters and I go enjoy getting are hair cut, braids, highlights or even just to get our hair styled or straightened --Then we enjoy the mall and if my grandson is with us we take him to the kids museum or the movies in the mall and have a great meal at one of the restaurants in the mall...

Coming from a future professional students perspective, I love my school! The staff caters to the way that each student learns. Theres never a dull moment at our school. Everything is a learning experience and although a service at our school may take a little longer than if you were to go to a regular salon, I can assure you that we take the time to get it right because we care so much about our clients. Emily my hair stylist was amazing and so sweet. I will definitely be returning. My one concern was the coaches. My stylists coach sat on her butt and took selfies with the other coaches and come over twice one to take a picture of me and Emily and then one other time to say good work. Highly disappointed in her behavior but I loved Emily.

I got my hair cut and balayage here, it turned out really good and I’m super happy with It. Only downside to this place is the time it took, took 5 hours for a balayage and almost 2 for a cut. I have long and thick hair, that might be why but overall did a great job

This place is a nightmare. I should have known I was in trouble when the had me sign something 3 times warning that I cant get a refund or a correction of they screw up. I went in for a cut. My cut is basic and easy. I was asked for pictures. So I google to find my cut. The student seemed to understand what I wanted. Then Rosie came over and wow. She was insistent on another cut. After about 10 minutes of her bullying me and suggesting that my usual cut would look terrible on me (it hasnt in 15 years) I foolishly relented. The student did ok but the cut looks terrible on me. It took 3 hours for the worst cut of my life. I wish I had paid to go to a proper place. Please consider going to a proper place. For less than $10 I could have saved myself the misery of months with a cut that looks bad on me.

My first time being a client there and I was so incredibly impressed every one is so nice . my cosmetologist name was Gillian she was incredibly sweet and was very professional and my hair looks incredible I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks. Prices are getting too close to regular salons. For a guy thats way too much. And usually for what I need I am there almost 2 1/2 hours. Much too long. Students are fine its just too much for a school to charge for anything but a regular haircut.

Horrible experience. Took my 7 year old for a tight bob hair cut. My poor girl sat in that chair for an hour and the girl wasnt even near done. I ask how much longer it was going to take because my 7 year old had been sitting in that chair for an hour and the teacher was standing there with the student and told me awhile. Really.. I dont think so it was ridiculous how long it took already. So I went up front and asked how long a hair cut should take and if they cant give me an exact time then Im taking her. I went back to my daughter and they had a different teacher finishing her hair cut now. My poor girl was there for 1 1/2hrs. I expected some extra time since the person would be learning but holy crap that was ridiculous. Never again would we go to Paul Mitchell the school Orlando again. Maybe the girl should learn some more on doll heads before working on real people.

Im not to much of a complainer nor will I ever tell anyone else what to do. But 30 vol bleach on my scalp was totally not called for. Now Im not a stylist nor do I have a license but Ive been doing my hair and researching and am 1000% that its not suppose to be that high of a volume on my scalp. When they were toning my hair my scalp starting burning but they insisted it was just cause of my sensitive scalp. I came home the next day and saw I had scabs all over my head. Chemical burns. I dont blame the student she was lovely and just following her instructors instructions. But I honestly feel the instructors are clueless and they disappear when the student needs to consult with them. Anyways I had yellow hair up top and orange on the bottom. Putting this out first, this is a school where students cut hair while teachers watch and assist if needed.Ive been going for a while here and there and would land some excellent students. While others Ive been not so satisfied with. My last visit was by far the worst Ive been through. It started off good. The female barber and I were making small talk. I noticed that she seemed very unfamiliar with giving gentlemen haircuts. And since I had so much hair it was easy to see that she was being stressed out, calling the teacher constantly. Towards the end the teacher was using clippers; I specifically had mentioned, earlier on in the appointment, that the back of my neck is sensitive to clippers and I asked if they could use a more delicate one. He ignored my comment and used the nice standard one he uses, resulting the back of my neck to slightly bleed and swell. After he started to see it slowly swell, he quickly switched over. Overall my haircut took about 2 hours!! Lol and the teacher himself was stressed out and told me to spray my own hair with the bottle water. Never been back since and not looking forward to.

My entire experience from walking in the door to the completion of my service was nothing less than professional. EVERY staff member and student were polite and respectful. I have been to other schools as a hair model for teachers before, but this was an exceptional experience for me and I was thoroughly impressed! And the student that waited on me, Tyler M. did a fantastic cut despite the particulars I like for a layered cut with texturizing. In addition, he did a perm on my mothers hair and she was exceptionally pleased with her service from him. I would highly recommend this school in the Ovedio Mall to have services done!

I just got home from the worst hair experience I have had in years. I went to the Paul Mitchell School in Oviedo for a trim. I had - yes, had - really long hair. My stylist was a really nice student and we talked about what I wanted and then she talked to her learning leader who came and discussed it with me. After she washed my hair she needed to consult with her learning leader again and she was not available so another learning leader came to help her. He asked me how much length I wanted to take off and I said, None, but if you need to take a little length off to clean it up that is OK. He was behind me working with my hair and I assumed he was going to show the stylist what to do. Instead he chopped off about 6 inches of my hair, told me he made it short in the back and long in the front because I needed the length in the front and told her to blow dry it. I was totally shocked. He said there was nothing we could do, it was done and she should just blow dry it. This man, who I think was named Spencer, had bright yellow hair like a yellow crayon. If you see him, stay away. After this, someone came to help my stylist straighten out the cut. I left with a simple shoulder length bob and I am totally devastated. I lost half my hair with not even a consultation and the young lady that cut my hair practically had to beg a teacher to pay attention every time she needed to consult from start to finish. This place is a nightmare. Dont go there as a client or a student. They also refused to waive their fee, which is when I told them that if they wanted me to pay, I would also write an online review. This is the first time I ever posted a negative review, but they earned it.

Been to Paul Mitchell school multiple times. Always had positive experience. That all changed May 27. Went for highlights and base coloring. It seemed that notes of what I had previously received were poorly documented. Student asked me questions and got some instructor input. Picture of my desired color was reviewed. My main concern was that I did not want blond hair. Student did not check the highlights as frequently as she should. Instructor was too hands off for this student and I had to inform the instructor that my student needed help. Nevertheless, after it was clear that I needed toner neither the student nor the instructor seemed to know how to tone the bleached hair to the color I wanted. My sister went for same service. Her student had more help and highlights were the perfect honey carmel color I wanted. I referred the instructor to my sisters results. In other words, I provided her the real life visual. My sisters student told both my student and instructor which toner she used. She in turn asked me what color did I see and told my student to use something different. I informed the instructor that as the professional, the color that I saw should not matter when she has a visual. Needless to say, I have variations of blond to pale yellow highlights in the back and most of highlights in front were toned away. Not to mention excessive amount of color used only to receive poor results. Very disappointing. While I understand these are students and they are learning, it is my observation that the instructor makes all the difference if your student is substandard. This instructor did not appear experienced with color (pink hair) and was too hands off. My advice to anyone going to Paul Mitchell school for services is to make sure you are comfortable with the experience of the instructor first. If you are not, do not get the service.

The worst Paul Mitchell school. I am able to compare a schools in Texas, Florida, North Carolina. This is the worst experience. NO organisation between school teachers. It takes 20 min to wait until teacher come and give some advice. In 20 min a mixed colour stop to work. The teacher cut off my hair so much, I asked only a little bit not more than 1 cm, she cut off 5-6 cm.

Last time I was here I received my worst haircut ever. It was extremely uneven (as I found out when I got home). The lady in charge of the students was not thorough, and kept saying how wonderful my hair looked. I also had a balayage done and was promised my hair would look a natural blonde, but it came out orange. The next day I straightened my hair and saw the disaster haircut I received. It made me feel like the lady who kept saying my hair looked wonderful was just tricking me into accepting my terrible, expensive haircut. For this fiasco, I am rating the salon 2 stars. The managers/teachers are supposed to be there so that this does not happen to a client.I did come back the next day and have it fixed, on the house, by a very great student and her fantastic manager. At first I was going to have to pay to have the color fixed, but after explaining what I had been promised, they fixed it on the house. This was the way it should have gone the first day I was there. I would give those two ladies 5 stars and plan to have my hair cut done by this girl next time.

All these 5 star posts seem like they were written by the same 170 pound cheer leader who cant do a summer sault anymore because she fell from the top of a pyramid during Britney Spears hit me baby one more time during the half time show. But really.., you ruined my daughters hair and were not very nice about it at all. I guess all these generic same person 5 star posts under different profile names is in an effort to hide your collective shame.

I had a good haircut and it was a reasonable price, but I had to waste FOUR HOURS until it was done. I could go to another hair salon, get the same haircut, and be done in 30 minutes. They also made me stand up for about an hour because they claimed the chair isnt good for cutting my hair into layers, and my hair stylist acted like it was the hardest hair cut ever. This isnt rocket science.

My wife has been a regular customer at this salon for the last four years. On Wednesday night she went in to get her hair colored to her normal white blond. Mistakes were made, and HER HAIR TURNED INTO A PURPLE/GRAY MESS. Obviously mistakes will happen at a school and that is completely understandable, but mistakes need to be fixed free of charge. My wife took Thursday off of work to get her hair fixed at the salon. They did a nice job fixing her hair, but they charged her again for the fix. My wife was basically detained in the store until she paid, and the manager on duty refused to leave a meeting to speak with her. Eventually my wife paid and left the store. Upon returning home she started calling to speak with a manager to get a refund.She spoke with several managers, and the further up the chain she went, the more incompetent the managers became. They were rude, vile, and idiotic. She simply asked one manager if you were served an uncooked meal at a restaurant, and the meal had to be replaced, would you pay for both meals?. The managers had no valid response to any of her concerns. None had the fortitude to refund the money or make any decisions on their own. They are all impotent and worthless human beings.THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED. The girls in the salon do a decent job and work hard, but the management and even the learning leaders are inept. Spend a little more money and get your hair done someplace else. Spending 10 hours in a salon, paying twice for getting your hair done, missing work, and incompetent management is what this place is all about.

Came in to get a relaxer, after I was done it didnt even look like I had gotten one. All I can say is their relaxers dont work on black people with thick hair. This was my first and will diffinently be my last. My stylist even told me the same thing after she got done with my hair :(

They have wonderful educators. Very creative and enthusiastic. Cant recommend it highly enough.

I just had the BEST conversation with Rosie. She englightened me, advised me and reassured me. Rosie is an absolute treasure and deserving of recognition. People like her are hard to find and truly am assest for whomever has them in their employ.I have confidence in Paul Mitchell, their product lines, and even in allowing their students to manage my hair. I was skeptical amd hestitant but Rosie allayed my fears!

I had the most absolute worst experience here. I havent let anyone touch my hair in 5 years and finally I meet a student who I trust do my hair, so I came to this school. My friend and I had to get approval from a teacher first before we proceeded with the haircut. We were both excited to do this cut, but the teacher was unsure. She kept butting in and kept changing everything up. So her unsure self took the scissors from the student and took over the hair cut. Mind you I have very very long hair and I take a lot of pride in it. ALSO I told her multiple times Ive been traumatized before from others cutting my hair. I TRUSTED her so thats why I was in there telling her to chop away. But she litteraly CHOPPED my hair. The TEACHER WHO TOOK OVER THE STUDENTS WORK RUINED MY HAIR. YES the teacher totally took over and destroyed my hair. She absolutely rushed and did not care about me or the student whos there to gain experience and graduate. How can these students learn, when these obnoxious unexperinced teachers take over and push people out the door as if their career is a joke. I cant even take pictures with my family and friends without being embarrased. Let emphasize that the STUDENTS are amazing. The students are very talented and honestly they should be in charge, because they can teach the unexperinced teachers a thing or two. Thanks for traumitizing me, once again Paul Mitchell. Now I have to wait years until this mess grows out to feel confident and live my life again.

This place is amazing. Obcourse since they are learning it will take time soo please whoever comes here come with patience because these are future professionals in action!!

A cut with a seasoned student scheduled to last 2 hours lasted 4! It was crooked requiring the trainer to fix it. Even that was not to my liking. It ended up shorter than what I wanted w loss ends that I will cut mysslf after I wash it. The left side ended up much longer the right side. $13 wasted! I will go somewhere else next time. It appeared that she cut hair by hair. I gave her a small tip because I felt sorry for her. Dont go there expecting a good haircut. I was never offered water or a soft drink. Totally a waste of my tine and money! I left with a sore back and hair stuck to the back of my shirt. They need to assign more trainers to less students and really supervise their work, not just look and move on. Twice she was told she was doing it wrong but not left unsupervised to messed it uo longer Who blows dry and styles and then cuts? I have never experienced a cut thaf way I had shoulder lenght hair left with roocked under the ear lenght hair. I wanted the lenght to my jaw. I paid for what I got-a vad haircut! Lo barato sale caro!

Love this salon! Wonderful exerperience each time for both my daughter and I. Savannah is the best!

The place was nice and so were the students but after they messed up my hair (not too bad definitely fixable) I had to speak with the manager...alison. She was very rude and condescending. Told me I would have to pay to get it fixed. No way to treat your customers !!

Encountered an employee in the parking lot who confronted us after we honked at her. She had stopped in the middle of the parking lot and started to back up with us right behind her, she was about to hit us so naturally, we honked until she stopped. My mother told her what our problem was and the employee promptly told my mother to go back to her country. Not sure what this racist, immature brat is doing working at this place. Sister also went in before for a haircut...pricy, long wait time, and mediocre cut.

I walked in and asked for the next appointment at the oviedo location. The receptionist said 12:45. My appointment time came and went. I watched several women being called so I went up and ask if I had the right time or was there a misunderstanding. It turns out the GIRL never had me fill out the form and without it I would be waiting till hell froze over before anyone had the decency to let me know what the problem was. If they are sloppy in how they conduct business in the front I can only imagine what may be happening in the back. That is the feeling I was left with, I am sorry to say.

BEST SALON EVER. & Ms. Carla is the best!!!!!! Will be back and Ill definitely be telling everyone about this place.

There is a lot of political bickering, negativity, and peer sabotage at this school. The faculty are in part to blame because they act like immature children also. I DID NOT ENJOY MY EXPERIENCE AS A STUDENT AT ALL HERE. Save your hard earned dollar, time, energy, enthusiasm and go else where PLEASE.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Where do I start.... I arrived at this facility @915 am promptly for my appointment. I work 3rd shift so I went after I got off work. Was taken back to the back right away. I explained to the girl what I would like and even showed a picture of what I would like. The teacher came around and I even showed her a photo of what I would like. She had to explain to the student about 5 times what she needed to do. This is when she started parting my hair but the parts were not even. Kind of hard to do with 1 hand right. She made it very awkward for me, did not talk the entire time. She then vanished for a while came back with what I assumed was the color. Mind you I have blonde hair to begin with.. she then started to put the foil in my hair. At this point I did not know it was bleach. she started this process @ 10am. She did not finish the foiling part until 2pm. Then came this color which I thought was going to be the in between color that I showed in the picture. It was burning my head I told her. She did not finish she went to eat. It took to long (kind of hard to do hair when you only use 1 arm/hand the entire time). The instructor is the one that finished my color. So I sat there in the chair for close to and hour. She came back to wash my hair. After getting a shower because once again she only used 1 hand to wash and rip the foils from my head. I went back to the chair. It was about 330pm at this time ( my friend that came was done and relied the same service but her appointment was @10am) I had 2 barber students brush and dry my hair. They were Awesome! This is when the student and teach stepped away to mix a color. So she came back with the color another student was helping her at this point. She was also awesome. The other students saw that it was very tired and disappointed and was asking the instructor to help more. But nothing! She original student disappeared to the bathroom while the other girl was putting in the color. She came back to put on about 10 strips (huge chunks on the back of my head that I could not see). Multiple time during this whole appointment I wanted to get up and walk out but I did not for some reason. Then I sat there for the color to wait for almost 1hour when the nice student told me about 20 minutes. Oh look here she comes back again. at this point I was almost the last person in the salon as it was 4:45pm and the school would be closing soon (5pm). She rinsed to color out with 1 hand again mind you( but did not tell me that this color was only a temporary color and would be gone in about 4 weeks depending on how much I wash it (thank God for this though)). So I was done with that rinse still has hair dye on my face and side of my head. Went to the chair and another student came to help finish. She was also awesome. Was graduating in about 1week. She helped her blow dry and brush my hair. Which was painful I am not sure if she doesnt brush her hair but she did not know how as she was ripping out my hair that she already fried from the over exposure to the bleach. The other student had to teacher her. Oh look she disappeared again. Came back and the instructor was there and the other student was timing my hair. She told the teacher that she did not wasnt to miss the cake and balloons that they had just brought in. So she left again and the other awesome student finished my trim. And escorted me to the counter. When I arrived to the counter all I could do was start sobbing at my horrible experience being there for 9 hours and both sleep for over 26 hours there is nothing much I could do. I spoke with manager ex0lained to her everything that happened she offered me 25%off my service which came out to $82.50. When I left I only saw to front and it looked okay because the other student did it. I drove 1 hrs home. Saw the back of my head was HOT Pink! I called back immediately but they were closed. Called several times spoke with the manager again who gave a lame excuse and wanted me to come back!

Left with a half done haircut was told come next day now as Im already half way there advised to not come bc stylist was on her way out due to a personal matter. Then to even start my visit yesterday my hair is to my waist and front desk girl wanted to sit me with a barber like seriously student was not even comfortable. So after 30 mins waiting to see who will be ok with long hair I was on a chair waiting to be cut for about 50 mins doing nothing this is poor work ethics these girls are about to graduate but know nothing I walked inside to have a wonderful experience not to drive over an hour to get to a place to leave half done then next day told come back next week so I stay with uneven hair and whatever flakes were caused by her putting gel in my dry hair smh NOT HAPPY!

Went in to get 2-tone highlights, they told me they couldnt do it, even though it is listed on their website. I wanted two-tones of light blonde, came out with white hair and a scalp that is chemically burned in about 4 places. Do not go here.

Ima dude and they looked very lost when i came in and asked to have my haircut. I am very angry with the way it turned out

They did great job.

Run away from this place. Not only do they charge the students to work there (and experiment on you) they have lousy customer service policies. Seriously. Avoid at all costs
