Used the bike trail with a friend. First time biking in at least 15 years. It was a slight challenge but very enjoyable. Recommend for for people who can at least do a bunny hop.

I had a friend take me here to explore. The trails were nice but made me feel a little unsafe. I thought it was very strange that it was so close to a school with kids where anyone could roam around freely. I certainly wouldnt want my young child attending it. You could also see where people had made their own trails off in to the woods and left behind drug paraphernalia. Just not very safe.

All the teachers are really good in this school, only a couple of teachers are unfair. The deans are pretty rude as they give punishments for almost no reason sometimes. The bathrooms are terrible and there’s always inappropriate graffiti in the bathrooms. The food is ok but it always seems like they are on a budget since the portions are never enough. Really good school but there are a couple of major flaws that need to be fixed.

Teaching snowflakes absolutely nothing. The kids that DO want to learn, a private school will teach more and better.

Dont go here ever Im warning parents and children. All teachers are terrible they dont give you a chance they give you a hard time, the administration picks favoritesand gives good grades to them but the kids they dont like gets bad grades. Anyone that rates this school a three or higher is a suck up to all the teachers thats why they are saying its a good school. If I could rate this a zero I would without any doubt. Dont go here unless you want your kids to be bullied, harassed, and treated unfairly

This school ducks. Most students are followers. Students and teachers are racists and sexist. Teachers pick favorites and it just so happens that they always get good grades on tests they nearly failed, I saw this happen 4 times in algebra. And L.A teachers dont start teaching about writing skills and standards till 3 weeks before the fsa. There is a rude and loud lady that sits in the front office. She yelled at me and my daughter because I accidentally brought in the wrong papers. I have heard from neighbors that this is not a school that is physically or emotionally safe for any child. If u want your child to succeed, make sure u put them in a school that isnt hcms.

This school is amazing! I completely recommend it for any incoming 6th-8th grader! The teachers are wonderful, and the kids are nice, mostly anyway, its a middle school, dont expect too much.

Worst communication between parents and school, went to pick up my daughter at the boys and girls club and nobody knew where she was.she ended up being in something called advisory and me and my groceries had to wait close to an hour for her to be released. Very disappointed

This school is amazing people might say the school is bad on the other comments but most of them didnt even go to this school i was there 3 years and the best school all you have to do is stay out of trouble be a good student and teachers will like you join groups they will like you do not be an annoying kid cuz they wont like you thats it the bathrooms arent good but what do you expect a 5 star bathroom come on grow up. first of all you dont go to this school to use the bathroom 24/7 anyway most of the kids all they do is go to the bathroom and use their phones. they dont even have the need to use it. soo just grow up and stop being a little baby. there wasnt no gun. no threats, no bad things, no school shooting. its an A school for a reason. its better than some other school. its also a good school for the place you live in unless you rich and you wanna live in lake nona some place like that soo stop being a baby the school is perfectly fine. if the teachers are bad on you is becaus you are bad on them. and all the teachers love the 8th graders. BEST MIDDLE SCHOOL OUT THERE...

I thank God my kids got accepted to A charter school in Orlando! Let me say may kids were comfortable at Hunters Creek Middle School but not excelling, my son was one of the highest FSA math scores in 5th grade and when he got to the middle school he had a D ..then my 8th grader tells me how these teenagers will be kissing like they are grown and teachers say nothing. Not to mention how RUDE and DISRESPECTUL Ms.Shilling in the front office is.. she is basically a bully to the students, my husband and I witnessed her go off on a foreign student that was having a hard time understanding her and we personally had a few episodes with her being disrespectful to our kids. I cant belive a rated A school would staff such personnel. There is no connection or communication between parents and teachers. good luck.

For the most part it is a great school. Most the teachers are very caring and will help you when needed (teachers like Ms.Gill and Mr. Frohmberg). Every so often there is a staff member or teacher who arent exactly the greatest, not to say there 100% bad teachers but for example Ms.Fowler would many times ignore students when they need help simply because she assumes theyre joking. She also has a tendency to try and embarrass certain kids but this review inst about her. Sometimes I think the punishments are a little much but it is just so you will learn your lesson and not do it again. I absolutely loved and treasured my time there and I will never forget all my great teachers and the memories I made there. Its defiantly a great school. However I must say there was one teacher who was just awful, Mr.Gomez. He was my algebra teacher and nobody understood what was happening because if he was teaching he was going to fast while also mumbling and slurring his words together. Most the time however he didnt do anything and he just put on a video while he graded work or did something on his phone. One time I asked him for help and he just said put the numbers in the calculator. Then after him not doing anything and just not caring in general he is surprised when majority of the class does poorly.Edit: I once tossed a water bottle off the stairs along with a few other kids who did it but I looked over the ledge because I didnt want to hit anyone and since I did that I got in trouble and nobody else did. I had ISS for 2-3 days I cant remember which one.

This middle school is the best school ever if you live in hunters creek you are lucky. It is so amazing the teachers are awsome and the curriculum is awesome

Currently, there are soccer classes in Hunters Creek offered by My Soccer Academy at the Hunters Creek Middle School. The field is good, it has a track for those that want to do some exercising.

I dont like how the administration work at this school. Terrible communication between administration regarding situations. The dean called me and said the principal saw my son throw a bottle into the school courtyard and was getting suspended for 3 days off school. My son said he did not do it but was told he was caught on camera. The next day I ask for the principal. She said she did not catch him on camera nor did she see him throw it herself and was given a description by other students it was an Asian male that threw the bottle. Staff would not pull up any security footage for me whatsoever. The dean and the principal told me 2 complete different stories. There arent enough serious issues going on at hcms so they need to pick on an Asian kid that gets in trouble all the time for texting in class and wearing his hoodie. Thank you hcms.
