Absolutely do not go here if you want your child to be safe! They have over 50 people interacting indoors and masks are not required or even encouraged! The instructors do not wear masks, which is understandable given the pool activities, but they also did not mandate vaccinations for their employees or instructors! They also would not disclose whether our instructor was or was not vaccinated. This is a high contamination risk and I say shame on them! When I asked about it they told me, “we do not mandate our employees get vaccinated because it’s their body and their choice.“

Exactly what others say. Great as a beginner but nothing after that. It’s not good if you’re looking for consistent improvement and progress. Most likely will be canceling ASAP and finding elsewhere that will be challenging my child and where can he progress and be paid more attention to for what he needs.There are very limited class times and availability. if there’s isnt room for you? oh well, you just won’t have a class then.My biggest issue is them answering their phones .. you’ll have to call them 100 times before they pick up once! It’s really just so annoying and makes you just not want to do business with them.So for any future parents I do recommend just saving time in the long run and find somewhere else because after a while you’ll have to find elsewhere anyway.

Customer service is basically nonexistent. My three children loved Aqua Tots it was a great place for them to learn how to swim, so we prepaid a month of swim lessons for them. Then COVID happened, so we suspended our services. Once we wanted them to return to swimming we were informed that we would have to pay more money to have active accounts, apparently having prepaid swim class doesnt qualify for an active account with Aqua Tots. I have spoken with many of the Aqua Tots front staff to speak with their manager only to find out she told the staff that it doesnt matter what I say to her or that her answer is not going to change and she would not speak with me or my childs mother. I hate leaving a bad review anywhere I like to give places the benefit of doubt but Aqua Tots is by far the worst experience I have had with a company that does not treat the customer fairly or with respect. This is my fair warning for anyone else trying to enroll their children in swim lessons this is not the place to send your business to. Go find a mom and pop swim school or the local park district anywhere is better then here.

Im going to be honest, we love aqua tots and we’ve been coming since our son was old enough to take lessons. But honestly, unless you have the same teacher over and over the consistency is not there. He ended up time and time again doing the same things he already knew how to do, and most of the time, at a lower level with a new teacher. It began getting repetitive and a waste of money. It’s a shame because he’s learned so much over the few years and loves coming here, but it just doesn’t make sense when there’s not consistency amongst the teachers. Definitely something I would recommend to management to improve on. But it’s still a great for beginners!

I have (now had) three children enrolled here and we were gifted classes going into 2020. I thought this was our place, they said they work well with special needs children, they have instructors in the pool and you can see them all the time- I thought this would be an experience to remember for my children and instead it ended with disappointment. Aquatots closed their doors due to Covid in 2020, which we understood. We were told no refunds and the classes would always be there. Correction, they WONT always be there. In order for them to honor our gifted months, they are requiring more money, stating we need an active plan in order for the kids to attend their sessions... the sessions that WERE ALREADY PAID FOR. So the classes that were previously paid for and gifted to us they are not honoring. Makes sense right? AND if you leave them voicemails to schedule classes and it says in the message will return the call they never do and/or did. They hyped about working well with children with special needs and I saw none of that, I saw no customer service when it came to honoring these classes, just wanting even more money out of their customers, and I did not receive any calls back for scheduling. This is the experience I received and it definitely was memorable all right... and not in a good way. Find a swim school and people who you can trust. Who actually care about their customers. This is not the place to find that.

They are so good with the kids. This place is extremely kid friendly.

Staff was extremely rude and standoffish. My family and I arrived for a lesson and we were initially greeted by someone friendly, however after going to grab my son’s fathers swim shoes the other staff were extremely rude and canceled our lesson.After letting my child get dressed and his father we were told they could no longer participate in the swim class. We both said okay and while they got dressed the swim instructor stared at us until we left. Making us all extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend bringing your family or children here. This is not a welcoming environment I was really dishearten by the way my family was treated today.

My daughter goes here & she absolutely loves it! The staff is great & friendly and whatever I need they always are very helpful. My daughter talks about her coach every day! We highly recommend!

Thank you Aqua Tots!!! My daughter has been here for a few months and she has definitely come a long way! Molly has a blast here! She loves her teachers, all her friends in class and she loves getting her lollipop at the end of class! I am so thankful for all the hard work Aqua Tots has put into making sure Molly is safe and comfortable!!!

I love this place so much! I’ve been here 5 months now and I can honestly say this place is suck a fun place to be and everyone is so nice! I feel like I can be myself around them and be able to express my emotions. I wouldn’t choice any other place to go! I LOVE AQUA TOTS.

DO NOT GO HERE TO WORK!!! The “manager” made me wait 30 minutes and I was on time for my interview. Then she makes me get in the water and “observe” the process. The other applicants didn’t have to do this mind you I have a lifeguard and CPR certification from American Red Cross. Then they Falsely advertise on indeed they pay $11-13 dollars an hour. The “manager” then tells me training is payed $8.25 an hour and once you get though training you can only earn up to $11 dollars an hour. The kids could be better taught as well and the employees didn’t really care about their process. Not worth the time or money better to teach your kids how to swim yourself.

Drove an hour to check out the school only get here and the school is closed! The schools website says its open till 4pm they close at 1. A wasted afternoon!

Can I give them a million stars??We LOVE this place. They are SO patient and so great with the kids. I love how its set up for parents to watch on the comfy red chairs, with snacks available too.The staff goes above and beyond to make both parents and kids feel comfortable. ❤❤❤❤

I have been working at Aqua Tots Orland Park since the very beginning. I have learned so much from working here, and am continuing to grow. I have made lifelong friends with my coworkers and with our families. Deciding to work at Aqua Tots has made me more confident, has improved my leadership skills, and has taught me so many life lessons. It sounds like you didn’t get picked for the job, and working here requires our employees to have patience and a positive attitude.

Im not really sure what s the wrong thing in that place . The staff are nice and friendly but they keep changing instructors all the times . My 5 yrs old daughter stayed in level 3 for 5 months and I didnt see much improvements when I take her to swimming pools. Their instructors or the way they teach the kids I believe is not professional enough

We love this place so much! My boys were very nervous at first but the instructors were very caring and patient, and made them feel comfortable. They have learned so much here, the staff is super friendly. I am very grateful for them!

Love Aqua Tots! They are very welcoming from the moment you walk in the door! The teachers are very understanding and really work to get to know the students. The kids learn so much!

Swim Instructors are Awesome. Very patient with the kids. Front Desk staff very friendly, patient and accommodating! The manager Tamara, very straight forward, very friendly, and accommodating! Always clean environment as well.

Shady and unsanitary place, watch out! In order to open up class space for new enrollees, they moved my daughter up two levels in a two week period. She was originally a level 3 biweekly with a 630pm time. They moved her to level 4 on 6/18, and then abruptly moved her to a level 5 on 7/2. They had no 6pm time to fit my work schedule for the level 5 class. They bill a month in advance, and refused to allow me to drop to once weekly and just do Sat for July. They refused to refund me for the fact i couldnt come any other times, and they require a 30 day cancellation. They also refused to let her stay in the level 4 class for the month i paid for already. So they basically screwed me out of $80 for 4 lessons she cant attend. I never would have paid for july had i known this. This coming from a place that charges $160 a month for lessons, but when a child vomits in the pool they just move the kids to the other side (which i personally witnessed). Stay away from this place!

Love the experience of working here! The families we get to know are wonderful and the staff are all so friendly!
