Going to UVDA has been such a great experience!! I have loved every second of it. I know there area lot of dental assisting schools but at UVDA you get a lot of hands on experience. We were able to watch the dentists work on patients and took turns assisting when possible. I really enjoyed that we were in an actual dental office. My instructor was Tia and she was incredible. She went above and beyond to make our experience great. I can’t say enough great things about my experience.

This school is amazing! They taught me everything I needed to know for on the job, actually working at a dental office. Such an amazing school! A lot of information in 14 weeks but it is very well organized. There is tons of hands on experience as well as one-on-one guidance that makes learning fun and easy. All the instructors/dentist are so supportive and kind which makes the whole experience that much better.

Utah Valley Dental Assisting felt like a second home. If you’re looking into dental assisting I highly suggest UVDA. All the instructors and teachers are the nicest people ever!! I got to have Dianna as my instructor (she is the best). She made every class fun and interesting, never boring. We did lots of hands on work and got to practice on many patients which helped a lot when I got hired at a dental office because my training was quick. I got hired at an office one week from our graduation date, with the help of all the instructors and teachers there. They help to set you up for success in getting hired. They go over resumes’ and how to answer certain questions during a job interview. Getting a job after the course was over was the easiest thing ever. I highly recommend UVDA to anyone looking to go into the dental field.

I can’t believe I just graduated from UVDA! It went by so fast! I had the best experience ever! My teacher was Tia who is & was amazing at helping me understand the basics of dental assisting; she was able to teach us in a way where it wasn’t just lectures everyday but rather help us learn doing hands work; I never felt stressed for test because they give you the right information you need for tests! There is no fluff behind this school they literally place you in the dental office world which to me is the best way to learn just hands on. I’m going to miss attending school; however I feel ready to jump in and be a dental assistant :)If you are looking for an awesome school; to learn & grow UVDA is the place to be!

This school was very informative and fun. Anna is an awesome teacher. She always makes sure we understand everything and makes everything so much fun.

For the price of the schooling I feel like you don’t get enough out of it. A lot of the curriculum was rushed through, I graduated still not knowing most of the common dental instrument names. Saturday classes are short as is and even then they would let us go early as if we couldn’t spend that time we paid for learning what we were supposed to.We really could have spent more time in the clinical setting as well, we focused on things that seemed trivial. I wish we could have spent more time practicing suction placement, instrument exchange, or even practiced and learned about Nitrous usage.In all 14 weeks, not one day did we sit down and learn about dental software. It was just talked about a lot in examples.Our midterm and final clinical exam were exactly the same. It was just taking X-rays on patients. Which you learn is a very meniscal part of an exam when actually working in a dental practice. We really could have experienced more chair side with the doctors. Other than our exams, we got no chair time with the doctors. Other than our exams we didn’t see any real procedures.I feel like there are better options out there for the money. The staff is very friendly, and they are helpful with payment options and lenient with late fees. But at the end of the day, the knowledge I gained here I probably could have gained from an internship with a clinic. (And could have potentially gotten paid instead of paying $2800)It just seemed more about the profit than the education. Hardly any staff showed up to our graduation and NO doctors showed up. I had a fun time with the girls here but wish I gained a bit more.

UVDA is a wonderful school! Mallory, Gabby, and Dr. Hilton are all A1. Its only 11 weeks, but they do their best to make sure you understand the material; they wont let you fail. Utah valley dental assisting school is a absolute superb school. From my personal experience I’m a very hand on person and that’s exactly what this program is all about. I got assist with Dr. Hilton on a live patients, he was very patient and kind and answered all questions I had. My instructor Nikki was absolutely fabulous you can tell how much she loves what she does and kept me informed at all times. Gaby was amazing she checked in on us multiple times and made sure we always were 100% protected with all proper PPE and was always on the look out for job opportunities for us. I left the school with a job in hand. Also it was very affordable and were always willing to work with me. I would hands down choose this school to anyone who wants to be part of the dental field in anyway.

So glad I decided to enroll here! I learned so much in a small amount of time but it wasnt crazy, it was definitely manageable. The teachers are nothing but helpful!! They WANT YOU TO SEE YOU WIN. This is an amazing dental assisting school, you learn everything you need to know. It is very affordable and time goes by super fast. My instructor Mallory is amazing (enroll in her class, you won’t regret it!), she was very helpful whenever we would ask questions or whenever we would struggle with something. She was willing to stay late or come early if we wanted to practice more. Dr Ben and Dr Heart were really helpful and patient, they really wanted us to understand and treated us with kindness. I don’t regret coming to the school because I gained so much knowledge and met amazing people that became friends. Class was always enjoyable and I actually wanted to go every time. I met with Nikki a few days before classes started and was able to join the night classes, Nikki was very sweet and helpful. I was surprised by how easy, fast, and affordable it was to apply to Utah Valley Dental Assisting program, The instructors were always very attentive and willing to stay late after class to review and practice. Within days of completing the program I was able to secure a job with Gaby and Nikki helping me through the whole process.

Best dental assisting experience here! I learned A LOT thanks to the great instructors and dentists and even got a job halfway through the course. I’m so glad I chose to do my schooling through UVDA!

I went to school here from September 1st to December 14th and I have to say I absolutely loved it. The instructors are amazing. The dentist is wonderful and so nice. Always willing to help. I don’t think I could’ve gotten my job at an office if it wasn’t for my lovely instructors. Taking their time out of a busy week at the office to help retake a test I bombed or just asking general questions about dentistry. As a dental office too they are spectacular and care for the patients. ❤️❤️

UVDA is amazing! It’s very affordable compared so some other accelerated programs in the area. The instructors are amazing! They work with you to make sure you know what you’re doing before you get out in the dental field. I don’t like school but I love this program! You aren’t just taught dental basics but you’re radiology certified through the state and CPR certified as well! I feel like this is the perfect program for someone who wants to do something new with their life but can’t afford traditional school and is a hands on learner like I am! It’s the best decision I’ve made for myself in regards to career!

I just finished my experience at utah valley dental assisting. it is such a wonderful program with lots of hands on experience! my teacher was diana and she did such a great job making sure the students knew what was being taught. although the program is short, you still learn everything you need to know about how to be a dental assistant. i loved the length of the program because it still let me have a job and go to school at the same time. nikki is so helpful and will always answer any questions or concerns you have! i had the honor of working with doctor hilton and doctor hart. they’re both such amazing doctors who help walk you through the steps when you’re working on a patient. (doctor hilton will challenge you and ask questions on what you do next. he won’t just tell you and i really appreciate that) another thing i love is that it’s also a dental office! we constantly had patients we got to chart on, assist on, and get lots of experience! the class sizes are small so you get to actually have your questions answered and everyone gets a turn to do something when we’re working with patients or on each other. mallory was our substitute a few times and she is just the sweetest person. i really enjoyed having her teach us as well! overall this program is 10/10 and if i could give it more stars i would(:

I love Kelsie as a teacher! I am now able to use all the skills she taught me in my job today! I became a pro at taking impressions (some of us know that they are difficult to do at first), and the way Kelsie teaches hands on for setting up for each procedure helped me out so much. I can take X-rays no problem! Even how to pass instruments to your doctor which has helped me now! I would recommend this program to anyone and everyone!

As an older student I was worried I wouldnt fit in with the teachers or other students, but from the very first time I meet Dr. Hilton, Gabby (the hygienist) and Kelsie (the Dental Assistant and teacher) I knew this was were I needed to be.Kelsie was such a fun and natural teacher. She made learning way easier. She never made me feel bad about wrong answer. Gabby worked tirelessly to help me find a job, even months after graduating.I love the small class size, it helped me learn after years of being a stay at home mom to not be surrounded by a lot of students.Signing up for the class was something I had wanted to do for a while, but actually signing up was a spur of the moment decision (because class started a few days after I found out about the class) and they were really kind and patient as I worked out financing.HIGHLY recommend Utah Valley Dental Assisting.

Attending UVDA was the best decision I’ve made for my future!!! I wasn’t sure what I wanted to be or what field I wanted to go in whether it be dental assisting or massage therapy. When researching UVDA, and reading all the amazing reviews I decided to take a tour and see if it really holds up to its reviews! I can happily say that I made the best decision in going to Utah Valley Dental Assitant School!! The instructors are AMAZING and the classes are smaller so you really get that one-on-one attention you need if you have any questions! My favorite part is that everything is hands on, being a visual learner and having the hands on experience I needed made achieving the skills so much easier. The best part of it all is that it’s so AFFORDABLE!! They will work with you on payment plans so that you can reach your goals! Overall, I would highly recommend UVDA to anybody and everybody!!

We had some dental work done at UVDA, Dr. Ben and the instructor Nikki were great, students are really motivated and eager to learn, I highly recommend UVDA for dental treatment and anyone looking to become a dental assistant.
