I was happily impressed with the precautions they take. Most of the staff was wearing a mask for the protection of others. They have a bracelet option for your children. The purpose of them is to allow the instructors to either have close contact or none. There are 3 levels i think and 3 different colors that will allow you to be at peace with how much contact you are comfortable with your child receiving. They do also ask if they come from a vaccinated or unvaccinated household. Parents are asked to stay outside of the dance center. There are tables and benches outside for parents. The professionalism of the crew is also a huge plus!

My 2 daughters have attended Velocity Dance Center for several years and have been part of the company/competition group for most of their time at the studio. They have several more years left before they graduate high school and I look forward to the improvements and changes they will receive in the years to come from this incredible dance studio. Its very difficult to explain in words the valuable benefits my girls have received by being part of this dance family but, their philosophy is very well rounded! They not only teach various dance techniques but, everything else that comes with dancing competitively: stage awareness, confidence, teamwork, self control, treating others with respect, encouragement and the list goes on. The entire staff is exceptional! Although each teacher or staff member brings something special to the team, collectively, they have incredible vision and exceptional talents! Very well organized, incredible schedule awareness, automatic payments every month, organized family events outside of studio time and definitely a family style environment. Very glad we are a part of the VDC family! I wouldnt trust my daughters with anyone else!

This is our 6th year at Velocity Dance Center and I can’t imagine us anywhere else!!! Not only has my daughter learned about how to dance; she’s grown in confidence, self-image, and gained a lot of friends! The teachers are more than just instructors and take a personal interest in my child and create a safe & positive atmosphere we both love! Velocity is very family-oriented with annual events to involve the whole family and make everyone feel welcome! We love Velocity!!

This is our 13th year at Velocity. Not only has my daughter found a hobby, but she has found a passion. She has learned that hard work pays off, time management, responsibility, teamwork, endurance and grit. Our dance family is an important part of our support system and the teachers love her, not just as a dancer but as a whole person. They truly want to see their dancers succeed, not just in dance but in life.

Velocity is more than just a dance studio. It is helping kids of all ages with their personal growth. They take an interest in each child. We enjoy the outside family activists. The level of professionalism is amazing ! I’ve never seen a more organized group of people like this anywhere. I can list many occasions where I saw or experienced this myself!

My daughter has been going since the beginning of 2017. She loves to dance. The staff are all friendly and have kids best interests at heart. They want everyone to be successful. Love this place so much.

Velocity dance center is the most professional dance studio I’ve experienced in my life. We have been at Velocity since my older daughter was in Dance With Me classes at 18 months old. This studio runs like a well oiled machine - it is extremely organized, everyone stays completely informed on everything going on, and everyone is extremely professional. My daughters have learned so much more than just dancing in their tears at Velocity. And check out their party packages if you are looking for the easiest birthday party on the planet! I highly recommend Velocity for any dancer at any age or level!

This place. Amazing. My daughter has been going here for years. Recently my son started dance here and he has autism. The staff has been amazing with us in building supports for him so he can take part in the class with the boys. Although my son probably wont perform in the big show it has definitely been a super positive experience and I am so grateful to find a business willing to help give him this experience.

Meghan and her staff are wonderful! They are professional as well as loving. This is a gift of a lifetime for any child attending Velocity! All of us, at Show Biz, love working with Meghan and her students.

Dont get ripped off by these people!!!! They collect prepaid money up front to hold your childs place in the class and if you are not satisfied with their horrendous service they will not refund a dime. In my opinion, they may as well have just held us up and taken our wallet. Our 4 year old daughter went to the first class and it was like a circus with no ring leader...a bigger kid was shoving our daughter and the instructor didnt even do anything about it. If you ask me, if your class cant effectively curb bullying going on right in front of you and then you refuse to refund the prepaid amount you are no better than common thieves. Velocity Dance Center should be ashamed!!!!

Meghan is a passionate and organized business owner who clearly cares deeply for her students and strives to provide the highest quality dance training in the area.

VDC will always hold a very special place in our hearts. My daughter is High Functioning Autistic. People told us she would never be able to dance. Other studios turned us away, But you & the staff took us in when no one else wanted too. Now she is growing into this little dancer who loves to dance every where we go. You guys are truly wonderful. Thank You Meghan & all VDC Staff!!! We love VDC!!
