Bright Star has been amazing for my daughter. She has been there for 2 years now, and we couldnt be happier!! The teachers and staff are AMAZING! They deeply care about my daughter’s development. She loves them! To me, there is nothing more important for a parent than the trust in who is taking care of their child. Im also very impressed with how Bright Star managed COVID times so successfully. They are an example for all of the other schools and daycares! I have a younger daughter who is also going to Bright Star in September! Were very thankful to be part of the Bright Star family!!

This has been our daughters third year at Bright Star Academy and we cannot express how important and incredible this school is to her. Our daughter has now reached the end of her pre-school year (3-4 year olds) and she has grown by leaps and bounds both academically and socially. We are grateful for the loving and safe environment Bright Star provides along with a rigorous and continuous early childhood curriculum. Our daughters teachers, Ms. ToniAnn, Ms. Janine, and Ms. Amanda have been incredibly warm, welcoming, and reliable. They provide our daughter with the confidence she needs to move progress both in and out of the classroom. She constantly comes home with new knowledge, new skills, fun projects, and stories from school. For us, parents, the teachers as well as Lori, the director, have been incredibly flexible and accommodating. There is always a consistent line of communication. They are always accessible and available for any question or concern we may have. We couldnt be more grateful for this experience.

Bright Stars has not only met but exceeded all expectations that I had for a school!There isnt a day that my daughter wasnt coming home happy, excited to learn and tell me about what she learned in school that day which was always so varied and appropriately taught.

Hands down the best academic nursery school out there. My daughter absolutely loves Brightstar and all the staff members. She has learned so much and amazes me everyday with her words. She started at Brightstar when she was just 2 not talking much only a few phrases now at almost 4 she’s a bright beautiful lil talker who can read certain words, spell her name and talk like a grown adult at home haha. This place has become her second home, everyone is so sweet and lovable. From the second we drop her off in the morning we know she is in a safe and fun environment. From The first day we visited Brightstar she ran right in and made herself at home. Highly recommended. We love Brightstar Academy

I could not have asked for a better program to prepare my son to enter Kindergarten this coming fall. He has had three wonderful years with his Bright Star family. Bright Star is hands-down the best place to send your child for preschool. Lori and Marilyn run an excellent program and the teachers are amazing. My daughter had Ms. Faith in the three year old class. Ms. Faith is a professional and dedicated young woman. My daughter has learned so much from her and the assistants in her class. We look forward to another year at Bright Star!

My daughter started Bright Star (the Toddler class), in January of this year for only two days a week and has learned so much since! I’m so grateful to Miss Tracy and Miss Lisa for how welcoming and loving they have been to my baby. They helped make her transition so easy. She always talks about her teachers as well as the friends she has made!

Bright Star is a terrific school! I was nervous switching from daycare to a school setting despite hearing amazing things but it has been an incredible experience! My daughter had learned so many amazing things and loves going to school. The staff is loving, kind, fun, supportive and knowledgeable. She has made many new friends of all ages. We love seeing all her projects and artwork. Guest reading was so much fun too! I am so happy we made this decision for our child!!!

My daughter has been in Bright Star for three years now and she loves going to school and camp. She was always on the shy side but the staff brings out the best in her. The staff works great with the kids and are very accommodating.

Im so pleased with Bright Stars program and staff. They were extremely helpful when my son had a hard time separating from me. They were also accommodating when my work schedule changed during the school year and have since been an incredible support system. My son LOVES their music and yoga classes. They even have a science program, that is well planned and suited to encourage the kids to learn about their surroundings. It is a wonderful environment, excellent teachers and the kids have fun and know they are loved.

Bright Star Academy is a wonderful preschool. We sent my kindergartner to Bright Star and now my 3 year old is attending Bright Star Academy. I could not feel more comfortable leaving my preschooler elsewhere. Bright Star has a loving, nurturing environment. The teachers are educated, professional and compassionate. Bright Star Academy focuses on both academic and social development. My 3 year old can spell his name, identify colors and shapes and has acquired an impressive vocabulary for a child of his age. I cant emphasize how well prepared my older son was for kindergarten. Next to my mother, I couldnt see trusting my childrens care to any facility besides Bright Star Academy.Maria

My daughter has attended Bright Star Academy for 3 years. She has also participated in their Summer Camp for the past 2 years. I couldnt agree more with the reviews already posted, there are not enough words to describe how wonderful her experience has been. They are patient, considerate, and flexible regarding every aspect of their school. They offer extended hours in the morning and evening, as well as, music, yoga, and STEAM. I have loved all her teachers and assistants and especially Marilyn, Lori, and Christine. I truly believe she will be more than prepared for Kindergarten both academically and socially. My son has been at Bright Star since January in their toddler classroom. The school has a warm and inviting atmosphere. I drop my son off every morning knowing he is loved and well taken care of. As a parent it is the best feeling to see your childs smiling face at the end of each day. Thank you Bright Star for that smile! I would highly recommend this school!!

Words can’t express how much we as a family love bright star! Bright star has provided a safe, loving and supportive environment for my kids to learn and develop a scene of self. They have been a part of our family from many years now and it breaks our hearts to know this will be our last year with them as our youngest child transitions to kindergarten next year. My daughter started here at the beginning of September and we couldnt be happier with our decision! The teachers and staff here are so caring and personable. In her short time here, my daughter has learned so many new things and has improved her socialization skills. The children are taught many self help skills to make them more independent (i.e. setting the table, serving their own snack, toileting). She enjoys participating in yoga and music class and comes home happy every day! I would definitely recommend Bright Star!

Bright Star Academy fully prepared my oldest child for Kindergarten. He is a happy and confident learner thanks to Bright Star. My three and a half year old son is still attending. I could not ask for a better learning environment for him.

My 5 year old daughter went to Bright Star for 2 years starting at 2 and my son went this past year starting at 2 as well. They will both be going for summer camp as well. Bright Star is not only a wonderful, safe and educational experience for both my kids but socially we have met amazing kids and parents alike. My kids and myself have made lifelong friends.

My daughter has been going to bright star since summer of 2016. The staff and teachers are all great and the curriculum is fantastic. My daughter started when she was 2 and was extremely shy and now she has come out of her shell thanks to the great teachers at Bright star.The hours are also very accommodating, as I work from home and needed earlier morning drop-off and they were able to flex the full day to meet my schedule.I highly recommend Bright Star for parents in the Oceanside area, we have been to other places and they were no where near Bright star as far as education, hygiene and just great environment.

We love Bright Star! Such a warm, friendly, loving environment for our 3 year old. She started at Bright star when she was 2.5 in camp and she loves it! She always comes home with stories of fun activities that she did, new things that she has learned and fun times with her friends. The teachers are all very engaged with the kids and take very good care of them. The directors, Lori and Marilyn are mother and daughter and really treat the academy as a home environment for all the families. Our daughter is enrolled again for September!

I cant say enough good things about Bright Star. Both of my children went there and the education they got cant be beat. My older daughter excelled in kindergarten and its all because of everything she learned while at Bright Star. My son just graduated and I am confident that he is fully prepared for next year. The staff is wonderful and treat each child with love and kindness. The facility is beautiful. I would absolutely recommend Bright Star to anyone who is looking for a great education in a loving environment.

Bright star has been an amazing experience for my son. They made sure he had time to adjust and really worked with us to make sure he got accustomed. His teachers are sweet and caring. The school is clean. He has learned so much this year in the toddler room. He just turned two and already can spell his name, count to 13, says his last name, can sort and label colors, name shapes, and more!

My 3.5 year old daughter has been at Bright Star for two years now. I could not be happier with her progress. She is speech delayed and they have differentiated instruction for her from the beginning. Emerson really enjoys going to school and camp. It has been a very positive experience for us.

I highly recommend this school. Teachers and staff are proffesonial, caring, welcoming and are always there if you need them . My son loves going to school and loves his teachers in the preschool room Miss Jan, Miss Jasmine and Miss Mary . This is the 3rd preschool my son has been to and I am so glad we found it! The staff, teachers and directors at Bright Star are amazing! They care about and take the time to really get to know each individual child in the school. My son has attended three different schools in the past 3.5 years and Bright Star was finally the right fit for him. He made many wonderful friendships and actually looked forward to going to school each day. My only regret is that we didnt find Bright Star sooner! 5 stars is not enough to describe how incredibly happy we are with this school!

My son is about to complete his first full year in thetwo-year-old program at Bright Star Academy. As a teacher myself,I was extremely impressed with the tour of the school, guidelines, cleanliness, friendliness, education, and safety protocols and procedures that are in place. When you first enter Bright Star there are two types of security systems to ensure the safety of the children. Since September, my husband and I have been so proud with the amount of social,emotional, and cognitive progress that our son has made. Teachers in the classroom are very attentive and love to share their experiences with us. You can definitely tell the directors take great pride in their facility and are very open with communication. I would 100% recommend Bright Star to any family looking for a safe, happy, and educational nursery program.

Both of my children have attended Brightstar for the last 2.5 years and it has been a wonderful experience from day 1. The teachers and staff at Brightstar truly go above and beyond to create a warm, loving, and enriching environment for the children (and the parents)! I was very nervous about how my two very different tempered children (one introvert and one rambunctious toddler) would adjust but my fears quickly disappeared. The teachers are absolutely fabulous as is all of the office staff. Each day I look forward to hearing my kids gush about the projects, interactions, and new subjects learned. We feel so lucky to have found this creative and dynamic school.

My daughter is entering Kindergarten next year and she is more then prepared. She is surrounded by loving teachers that have taught her: letter recognition, letter sounds, how to write all of her letters and numbers. She is reading pre-primer sight words, adding single digit numbers with pictures and learning so much more. She plays outside, inside and is surrounded by friends, teachers and administors that love her! If you want your daughter or son to be prepared for kindergarten come to Bright Star! It was the best decision I have made for my daughters safety and education!

Bright Star is phenomenal. The teachers and staff are caring, up to date on Pre-K education, and go above and beyond to support each and every child. My son has been going 3 days a week from 9-12 and he is disappointed on the days he doesnt have school. We dont live locally, but its worth driving him over. He adores his teacher and has learned so much. I am an elementary teacher myself, and have 100% confidence in Bright Star. My almost four year old daughter has attended Bright Star since 20 months and my older daughter attended from 18 months thru Pre-K (she is currently finishing kindergarten). The teachers and assistant teachers couldnt be more loving and caring to the children. I can speak especially for my oldest, she was so well prepared for kindergarten, we couldnt be more happy with the education and preparation she received at Bright Star. And my little one looks forward to going to school everyday. It means the world to us that she is happy and enthusiastic about attending, and I give so much credit to their wonderful teachers.

Wow! Where do I begin....this has been the most unbelievable two years. My daughter has had an excellent experience at Brightstar. The administrators are amazing, the staff unbelievably caring and friendly. I have absolutely no negative comments. Everyone at this school loves what they do! I wish my daughter could stay at this school until college :). The well- balanced nature of the programs at this pre-school are incredible. They introduce exercise, music and academics all in one fun setting. My daughter cries when school is out and now that she is graduating,...the tears have begun for all of us. We thank you Brightstar for all of you have done for our little girl and our family!
