Great teachers, happy kids. It is a bit pricey but it has been worth it for turning our kids (5 and 9) onto music and motivating them to practice.

We absolutely love School of Rock! My son enjoys his rehearsals and has learned so much already in the few months we have been a part of the studio. Having the opportunity to play with other musicians his age and skill range is my sons favorite part and as a parent I see him growing as a musician. 10/10 recommendation

Olivia and Matt are so great to work with. They Genuinely care about the school and the kids. All of the teachers are patient and wonderful with the kiddos. Jason and Matt do such a great job teaching my daughter guitar that I will never take my kids to another place for music lessons.

School of Rock Oceanside has very encouraging and patient instructors. They have a special way of opening up a students mind and make learning fun! They nurture their students skills and growth. I highly recommend School of Rock, Oceanside!

The directors are encouraging and fun, yet serious. The vocal instructors are so good! I love that the concept is to use fun songs to learn music. The shows are great. And, it is a welcoming environment for the quirky kids (meant in a totally loving way- from one mother of a quirky one).

My son decided to switch from piano lessons to guitar. We gave School of Rock a try, mostly because they had such a fun sounding name. After the trial lesson, Bradley was sold. He loves the private lesson and the rehearsals. I am thrilled that he is so into this style of lessons that he is practicing every day at home without me ever having to remind him. Learning an instrument and having a blast- I would recommend this place for sure.

School of rock helped me accomplish learning something about music. After being bumped off a list at school for guitar we went to school of rock instead and it was an amazing decision. They are super dedicated to giving lessons and helping the kids and adults.

My son took “traditional” drum lessons when he was younger and the fun and motivation was not there. At School of Rock the method of teaching and the chance to be a part of a show with a band makes all of the difference! My son is LOVING the experience and now LOVES PRACTICING, too!

This has been the best experience for my kids and family. We bond through the music and my kids play less and less video games. Both our boys have grown in self confidence and in amazing musical skills. The friends they have at this school are their best friends. We absolutely LOVE it!

Love this place, my son had very little musical interest until we found this place. He started one month ago with very little musics skill and is now playing full rock songs. Their teaching method works. He is building confidence and loving every minute.

The best part of School of Rock is that it makes learning music a fun experience for the kids. The kids love jamming each week with their peers to fun songs, and they are motivated to practice their songs so that they can play along with their peers. The kids are also motivated by the fact that there are regular performances on a stage, like a real rock concert. I am amazed at how much my children have learned on the drums and guitar in a short period of time, enough that they can jam independently with their friends at 6 and 9 years old! Oceanside also has instructors who are knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. My kids have loved all of the instructors theyve had at SOR. My kids are also learning how to be part of a team, a community. I also cant say enough about the office staff at SOR. They are responsive to any questions or concerns and will try their best to find a way to work with your schedule. The whole atmosphere at SOR is positive, enthusiastic, and down-to-earth.
