Great little spot. Personalized and private for its members. Good boxing and group fitness classes. Free weights and equipment is never a hassle to use to get to. Def. Enjoy working out here.

Great place to work out. The personal trainers are legit. Good vibe great atmosphere. The only thing I recommend is the cleaning schedule should be put back in place. Floors should be cleaned regularly and disfecting stations should be maintained stocked.Other than that, Im glad to be a member of this Gym.

**I have to update my review from 4 stars to 1They will steal your money. I cancelled my membership back in April and I have since been charged for May, June, and now SEPTEMBER! This is completely ridiculous and the management does not pick up the phone nor do they respond to email. This is not the gym to go to for boxing/kickboxing try Carlsbad Kickboxing comparable rate, better time slots, and they wont steal your money.

I used to love this gym. I even payed ahead a year because the coaches are amazing. It isnt the fanciest gym, bathroom toilet was taped over forever, and the tvs and speaker system often was broken or service disconnected. But I was a loyal customer.Then during COVID, they refused to communicate, ignored email, phone calls, and basically took my money and ran away. Final straw. This is a problem with the ownership. They just dont seem to value their loyal customers.

I verbally told Ricky that we were no longer going to attend after I was charged a surprise $39 annual fee. This was the 2nd billing issue I had in 3 weeks. The first being that I paid cash, along with them charging my card. When I brought it up to Ricky, he took care of it. But instead of my account showing I had paid cash, it showed that fee was waived. To me, that is shady. Where did my cash payment go? Then the annual fee that was never mentioned before. I had enough, especially since i read other reviews of ufc charging members after they had ended their membership. The day I told Ricky we were ending our membership,he instead offered myself and 2 of my sons friends a free t-shirt( meaning it was actually a $39 shirt- not free) which I declined and I emailed company to tell them why we no longer wanted to be a member. The following month, again I was charged another $99. I called Ricky to find out why. He then told me that I had to give 30 day written notice in person and I would be charged another $99 for next month too. I feel if that was the policy, the day I was there saying we were done- should, at the very least, been when he told me about that policy. Instead he waited and I was charged for something we were not using. They did keep 1 payment, but had to cancel card to prevent them from continuing to charge me-:which they keep trying to do daily. Very unprofessional and i feel like I was deceived. I just tried to reach billing dept, I was #29 inlinevto speak to someone. They must have alot of unhappy people to deal with.Very happy with the childrens boxing/mma class with Ricky. I would have given them 5 stars except for the fact they keep billing my cc even though I paid cash ahead of time.

Great trainers and selection of classes.

I train with sarona for a while now and she is the best. She pushes you to your limits. If you are looking for a community of people that supports, encourage each other. This is the place, its overall family vibes makes me feel comfortable.This is the place to be. Everybody in this gym treats each other with respect. The staff makes you feel welcome. The workout is a different story. If you want to get in the best shape of your life. Come and take a class and find out for yourself. Between Ricky and sarona I can always have a great workout. This is also my therapy and stress releaver. It helps me be my best self for my family.

Love this gym! From the moment I walked in, the staff and coaches were all great! Carlos took the time to give me a tour and introduce me to the coaches. They remember your name, which makes you feel valued and appreciated as a customer! I attend mostly boxing conditioning and boxing skills classes and the coaches are all very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area!

I think one of the best decisions I’ve ever made was sign up to be apart of the UFC family. I feel so comfortable here & I look forward to working out everyday. The coaches are incredibly hardworking and knowledgeable about what their doing. Whether it’s boxing, or circuit training, or weight lifting, you get all the knowledge you need to succeed. Being apart of the UFC family has continued to push me to be better physically and mentally and has really transformed my mindset about working out. I never thought I would find my home here at UFC, but I have & Im glad I did. So shoutout to Carlo & the UFC Team, y’all make my world go round.

This is one of the BEST gyms Ive ever been a part of! I used to work for 24 hour fitness, and when I say the staff AND the members here are EXCEPTIONAL! I MEAN IT! If youre looking for a new gym to call home, but youre tired of feeling like you dont belong! UFC IS THE TRIBE FOR YOU! Stop by, theyre right off of the 5 freeway by the Starbucks on Oceanside blvd!

When I first joined this gym it was really cool to workout here. Friendly staff and the trainers were awesome. A month into my membership, i was billed early and it caused me financial issues which the manager took care of. They hired a new receptionist and today she literally got mad at me because i wanted to talk to the trainer about scheduling a private session. I think im just going to try Crunch or go to another gym..

Mold is everywhere in their showers. I even wonder if they ever care that thats a health hazard given that theyve been like that since forever. I even question if they ever clean their red turp where everybody trains. The gym is so dirty. I do still go because their coaches are great trainers and very friendly but the rest of the staff does too little to maintain the gyms image.

Great gym, awesome staff, and exceptional service! Price is comfortable to work with and they have a lot of options to pick and Jose from! My son had the first free session and loved it! We took advantage of the summer special $49.

The trainers are great but the finance folks continue to charge me a monthly membership after several emails and phone calls (left voice mail) explaining why we needed to discontinue...Understood with COVID-19 these are unprecedented times but they need to make this right

The staff at this gym are legitimately what motivate me to come and push myself everyday. I’ve never been treated like family by any business until this one. They treated me amazing on my birthday and have amazing service. Employees are vigilant, and always have advice to help better myself. I really love this gym.

My son has been coming to this gym and loves it. His coaches have gone above and beyond. We will miss this place when we move out of state. I highly recommend this gym.

The gym it self is great but the customer service sucks. I was going to be late on the payment and I called asking how they process that. They told me there wasn’t gonna be a late fee. I was fine, after the month past I noticed I got a late charge and I asked the person who was in there at the time why I got charged and they said oh we do have a late fee. I asked another customer service representative at the time if they can refund it since I did not get informed right and they refuse to take off the charge saying that he might’ve been a new guy so I let it slide. Then I needed to cancel my gym membership that I was transferring schools so I wouldn’t be around any and I asked the person in customer service at the time if they were gonna be any cancellation fees or anything and he said no we don’t do cancellation fees so I cancelled it. Then the month after I got charged another monthly payment so I call the representative today he told me yes we do have a cancellation fee if you cancel if there certain day. I asked well what can I do to get my money back because I did not know about this cancellation fee. He said well we do this to all our members. I wanted to ask more questions but he hanged up in me before finishing my conversation. Customer service here sucks the billing sucks. I do not recommend this gym

I really like this gym, 80 something a month, kinda small but it has mostly everything you will need. I love the personal trainings, but it is 50$ an hour.The Octagon is where you get to train! My technique has improved drastically,

The gym is nice. I currently left on orders and have been charged since I left 2 months ago and number does not work. I have a signed paper stating that the cancelization did happen for me and my wife. The corporate office gives the run around and now this is on my credit so if you do leave the gym and you are military they will screw up your credit fyi. Now we have to go through the process of getting rid of it. Horrible experience and will never join a gym again. If your military you know the stresses of moving and now they just added to it.

Great people great coaches excellent staff (London’s the man) I’ve seen people completely transform within a month of going to this gym it’s amazing and everyone is approachable you don’t have to be afraid to ask for help the coaches the staff they’ll set you up for success always forward never backwards there

This is really more than a gym, it’s a big family. Everyone is there for a reason, to improve themselves and to grow as fighters, rollers, boxers, grapplers etc, some people are just there for the electric atmosphere and to get fit and they’re all welcome. From the moment you walk in the professional UFC Gym staff is there to greet you, London and and Kathleen are always smiling and happy to see the regulars. The training is intense and the coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and understand it’s scary for beginners, and will take the necessary time with people on the class to keep them comfortable, but they also expect you to push yourself. I’ve never truly enjoyed coming to a gym until this place.

Great coaches my son has been competing for 6 months and has taken 1st, 2nd and 3rd on all his competitions. I highly recommend this gym. Great coaches!

I had my account frozen for more than a year. I asked Manny Torres supposedly the manager who after three attempts to speak to him was never around. According to employees they couldnt cancel my account because it must be done by managers only. So Manny Torres got upset and charge me $69 for closing it. I asked him why? He texted me because you didnt gave us 30 day notice I said the account its not active for more than a year! He didnt care and took the money out of my account the same day! I couldnt find managers before but Manny Torres was very quick to take my money! I told him im disputing it with my bank. He said do whatever!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL (MANAGER???)

Why do they keep charging me after I emailed and told them to cancel my membership! I went on after the COVID restrictions were lifted and was told that it had to be done over email. I was still charged even after several emails.

This is a great gym with classes that give you a challenging work out! All the coaches there are very motivating and make me want to keep coming back for more!!

This place has been nothing but positive since the day I walked in the door. If you want real results come here. They have alot of conditioning classes for boxing, kickboxing and Ultimate training. They also have lessons and private training.I have alot of injuries and they help you and make sure the modify the exercise to fit you.If you want a gym that not only the coaches make you comfortable the members do too. Please come try it out......You WONT be disappointed.Manny, Sarona and Alexis are amazing coaches who actually care about you.

Stellar staff and really nice facilities. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get in shape. If anyone’s intimidated because it’s an MMA gym don’t be. There’s no pressure and everyone’s super welcoming. The majority of the people in the classes aren’t there to fight and are only there to get in shape. Ages range from little kids to people in their 60’s!

Teachers are great and the coaches really care about all the members.The only fault is I have been inactive from the gym for the past 4 months, and they have continued to charge me even though Ive called in and asked to disenroll. They promised to send an email so I can disenroll without having to come in and they havent sent it and now ima be charged again for the 5th time...... Thats $400 Ill never get back....

Honestly I cant even put the company to words. If you are the person that wants a warm and welcoming staff come check out UFC oceanside. I have visited all the locations and all are great. Oceanside in my opinion takes a little more of the step to make you feel welcome. Between all the staff that greet you with warm smiles and want to know you not just the work out you. To the coaches with great experience and who are always willing to help. And leave the sexism out. To the members who are always willing to work out together and help you with that little bit of a push. Also a great place to come and put your earbuds in and work on that strength and conditioning. Talk with the staff and meet those fitness goals at your pace. If you want to break a sweat, loose weight, tone out, or just impove your mood UFC oceanside is the gym for you.

Had my kid go here for couple months, they would teach almost the same thing every week. Very little change up. One coach is very questionable, when he would teach ju jit su he would have the oldest girl as a partner instead of the boy who was more his size or ask for another coach for asst. gym is pretty dirty. I havebt seen them clean mats or gear before the younger kids use them. When you have questions they really dont know they give you the run around. Especially under new management. This gym has gone down hill.
