Super rude staff, and unprofessional teachers in special ed classes. My child was a student in Libby, attending Kindergarten, she has cerebral palsy! Her IEP states that she needs assistance in party training every 90mins, and a diaper change. They complained the first time saying that; that wasnt part of their job description- secondly they said she was too heavy to carry and lay her on a table for a diaper change. Third; they complained that they were taking her out to use the bathroom, and change her diaper, and it was taking a good 25 mins each time! And that was a long time!! Hello! Go complain to the OUSD, and tell them that, not me as the parent. I cant hire special staff for you lazy teachers and aids, tell the school district that. Also the teacher was complaining that my special needs child was too slow in taking her big jacket off, Again!- she has cerebral palsy! Hello!! If you are in a hurry for her to take her jacket off, assist her please!! instead of sending me notes saying that my child took a long time to take her jacket off today! Dont forget that you are are teaching a SPECIAL ED CLASS! Not regular kindergarten, somenof these kids require assistance! Fourth: they called my child clumsy! Because she has cerebral palsy, and wears braces to help her keep her feet flat on the ground. My daughter trips a lot during the day, thats not very nice from them to call my child clumsy, she has a walking disability! That means someone who trips a lot! That broke my heart, Im very close to my daughter, anything they do or say to her it hurts my feelings bad, I cried. she is in great communication with mommy, and tells me everything! And last! The school principal is very unprofessional, at our last IEP meeting he was just sitting there, making lots of weird movements like if he was on drugs or nervous! He is the head of the school, the boss, act like one, I looked at him, and i knew he was on something! He also stayed quiet, and didnt even said nothing concerning her tardies to class or me, and our issue we had on our last encounter where I brought my child late to class, and the rude staff wouldnt let me walk my child to class, when I clearly asked them was going to, and I signed in in the visitors folder, I was okay with having a staff member walking with us as well, I was gonna leave my I.D like always! They immediately called the principal on the walkie talkies, and ignored me! He came called my daughter, and was gonna take her to class himself without me, when he saw me walking next to them he took me in a corner and was very angry at me, because I insisted to walk her too, he said; is there a particular reason you wanna walk with us to her classroom???? I said; yes, shes my daughter! Whats the deal here!? Is it illegal to do so!??? He said; you cant come with us! I got upset that in a rude way he tood me that, and didnt care to go through the school policies with me, he always made excuses for me. They wouldnt let me walk my child this one day I requested, just to make sure she made it safe to class without falling. mommy wanted to hold her hand, and walk her safely to class! I told them in the IEP meeting I was very close to my daughter, and wanted to be very involved. & every now and then do lunch together, or surprise her with her favorite homemade food. And do class observations, classroom drop off, and the staff said no! As a parent this makes menangry specially with a special needs child!! If the school head, the principal acts weird or is not straight forward with you, something is wring with him! go to the OUSD, I sure did. And dont want my child to finish the school year at Libby as the staff there are unprofessional, and cant deal with soecial needs children. Really disappointing that the children arent allowed to dress up for halloween. while other schools are. im not sure why but doesnt make any sense to me at all.

Very good school and the teachers are very dedicated to their profession, I love it.

Thank you, director Cesar Mora and all his teachers and staff, that school is one of the best, we moved and we had to stop but thanks for all your support and helping my children when they arrived from Mexico and all of us who know the director know what it is. a hard-working person and committed to his work
