Disappointed in the Education, seems to have gone down hill in the years. Recently we were at a basketball game, and the OCA head coach tried to “fight” the other teams coach. He had to be held back by the principal. This was very disappointing to see a grown adult act like a child. We did pull both of our child out last year due to many reasons. The teachers only seem to stay one year and then leave.

Wonderful school and staff. We are a Christian family. Both my husband and I had the blessing of growing up in private Christian educations and church. My husbands large family all attended OCA 20+ years ago. Played for the crusaders, and were active supporters. Its so wonderful to see my husbands childhood peers, or his siblings peers, all grown up with their own children (some of whom now teach there). Some of the staff that taught my husband and his brothers and sisters are still there teaching and supporting the school! Its a very traditional place, solid in the fundamentals. KJV and girls modesty is enforced. But thats how I was raised, and we prefer that. It costs $$$$ like any private education, but still within the expected range of tuition and fees for a quality private education. Lots of extra activities and character building extras for during and after school. Highly recommend. Much love in Christ. The Arnolds (Steve & Willow)

My wife, daughter, and myself have had the worst experience trying to schedule a visit as a perspective family that is relocating from out of state. Grace Etheredge is by far the most unprofessional admission/records clerk we have ever dealt with. Since April 2017, we have attempted to get a hold of someone from admissions. We have called and left messages twice a week. Not one person called us back. We expressed the urgency with which we needed a response but never received a phone call back. One woman, who has been the organ player at the church was as helpful as could be but stated we needed to speak with admissions. It is now June and we had scheduled a visit to Fl for house hunting and school touring. We had hoped to arrange a visit and complete the required testing for admission at several Christians schools in the areas. Since we have to fly in, most Christian schools would accommodate our needs. Grace insisted that we fly back in July to complete testing even though we have all of the other requirements!!! She also stated she didnt receive any messages, etc. My wife asked her for clarity on some requirements but Grace insisted we visit the website. Why have an admissions person who does not call back perspective families and refuses to answer questions? We have been involved in Christisn education since our daughter was old enough to attend school. If this is our experience as a perspective family, just imagine what it would be if we started paying tuition. We will no longer be pursuing a relationship with Ocala Christian School which is unfortunate because the school seemed like a great fit. This experience is an embarrassment to Christian education and one of the reasons Christian schools across the nation are closing.

They dont display Christian values at all! They recommend buying more than one paddle to discipline with, because one might break. They threaten to call the cops on little children. They are verbally abusive and are the opposite of Christian women/men. If you want to go back to the 1940s in Catholicism, this place is for you!!!! I pray they shut down before they destroy our future generation of sweet little People! Im praying for them.

A Christian, bible base education (not religion). Smaller classes, teachers willing to take time to address and provide help to those who need it.
