I tried one of the Dinner Hero meals and was amazed at how good it was. It was super quick and easy, and as a dad its pretty amazing how they support healthy eating in schools and that they give back. Love it!

I first became aware of Revolutions Foods and the true quality of their offerings once my child started public school. As a busy working parent I would gladly take the option of an on-site school lunch over the precious extra time it takes me to prepare and pack a lunch from home. However, if I couldn’t bring myself to take a bite of what Revolutions Foods puts out because of what I consider highly problematic ingredients and packaging - even for someone who does not have any allergies or food sensitivities - then I certainly wouldn’t want to have my child eating what resembles low-budget airplane food on a daily basis. And yet my child is not immune because even though we opt out of the school lunch, Revolutions Foods still makes child-appealing packaged snacks like these graham crackers available to all kids up to twice a day - once at school during recess and again if your child happens to attend an after school program through the city’s Parks and Rec like mine does. What really upsets me, however, is that through the ingenious way they word their mission statement, Revolutions Foods cleverly tries to market their offerings as extraordinarily healthy. They even going so far as to trademark their food philosophy of “Feeding Good”, which they do not define, yet it is their “promise to you” - whatever that may be. They say that they “believe that everyone deserves access to high quality food.” They say they believe in food that tastes good, food that promotes growth and development.” That they “stand for food you can feel good about.” Well sure, I’m glad they believe in and stand for such noble sentiments as do all concerned, health-conscious parents. But all you have to do is take one look at the ingredients in their packaged graham crackers to know that what they believe in is not the same as saying that’s what they’re actually offering. Their “carefully considered ingredients” do indeed lack artificial colors, artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners and high fructose corn syrup, but that doesn’t mean they don’t allow the wholesale use of sugar and GMO ingredients with abandon. Does a 1 oz. single serving bag of cookies really need to have 8 grams, or the equivalent of 2 teaspoons of sugar? And when this is given to kids at recess how is it helpful for them to go back into their classrooms fueled by a sugar rush? They say that they “focus on fresh, clean label ingredients with an emphasis on fruits and vegetables.” But when you see the meal trays in the schools, the fruit consists of one perfect-looking, prosaic Red Delicious apple (the tasteless supermarket variety available thanks to copious amounts of pesticides) and a few plain raw “baby” carrots. Their commitment “to sourcing the highest quality ingredients” notwithstanding, the reality is a far cry from anything out of Alice Waters’ edible schoolyard vision. And maybe what Revolutions Foods offers does successfully get kids to eat (after all, it’s hard for any young child to resist the call of a cute package of sugary cookies), but worse than children eating this processed fare from the most cheaply-sourced ingredients is perhaps seeing much of the content on those meals trays - along with all the endless individual packaging - ending up in the trash.

Breakfast Hero pancake batters are an a gift for me, as more than full time working mom, with two kids under 4. With Breakfast Hero, I am able to surprise and delight my kids on a Tuesday morning and it takes only as long as I need to heat the pan and oil. Having the batter ready to pour in my fridge is genius. Oh, and did I mention they are delicious? Weve also used Breakfast Hero in a pinch for breakfast for dinner. We love the whole grain flavor in our house. Kudos to Revolution Foods!

And Ive heard great things from schools that carry their food for school lunch. I would LOVE for Rev Foods to provide lunches at my kids school!

My kiddo LOVES LOVES LOVES Lunch Bundles! So grateful that they come in vegetarian options. And so grateful that theres a healthy, equally-easy-to-pack-Lunchables alternative that I can pick up when Im at Whole Foods. I also really appreciate that Rev Foods is a mission-oriented company, donating 1% of their sales back to schools. Wish California schools didnt have to rely on so much extra funding to thrive, but it is what it is in this state.

First, let me make this clear: I like food. The food is fine, but if I didnt like food, I would probably not like it. I get it at my school, and one time my teacher took some leftover carrots from them, and she said they throw what they dont use out. Well, that sure is revolutionary! And then I looked inside and it was partly FROZEN. Like, their number one motto is ALWAYS FRESH, NEVER FROZEN. I am going to science camp this year, and my teacher said the food there is better than this revolutionary one. Addition 1 school year later: The meals costs $3.25; thats 13 quarters! 13!

Your food doesnt taste well. A lot of others agree to this. I feel that this food should improve. Like on EVERYTHING you cooked. I know you are making it more healthier and I respect that, but just make like normal food that kids and adults enjoy. For example, you should make white rice instead of really hard rice. Also, get better soy sauce. This occurred to me when someone puked after eating the food. I also almost puked when I ate the lunch and breakfast. Also, sometimes your milk is expired. So please improve the food like enjoyable food.

My school gets this food everyday. Not only does it look bad, but is always tastes bland. Just today, we had Uncle Teds Drumstick. The inside of it was fully pink and most of it was raw. The potstickers made 2 kids at my school sick, and at least 4 times, the milk was expired. I never knew I could poop 4 times in one day for my age. This brand really needs to work on how their food quality is. The only edible thing on the menu are the salads but 1 thing you need to work on is not putting the small packet of croutons under the soggy, wet salad. Also, The portion sizes are very small. I have to buy at least 2 lunches if I forget lunch, costing around 3-6 dollars. Randomly, they serve us breakfast - for lunch, and it is 3 small 2 1/2 inch pancake with 2 Foamy eggs. This is why I bring a lunch. -A student from one of the many schools you serve.

I disapprove of this food. It lacks taste and it is not healthy at all. I do not know why people would say it taste great. Maybe they got paid? I dont know, but their food is disgusting and would not want anyone else to eat it. Not to mention when you look at the food it looks terrible like they put no effort into it at all. On their website the food looks alright but when you see it in person you can tell they are a bunch of liars. Many times that I have gotten a sandwich with no meat. Thanks Revolution Foods.

I am writing to your fine establishment because my son who attends Watsonville Charter School of the Arts one day he brought back one of your so called school lunches back home. I was appalled by the quality of food that you serve to our children. They are the future of our country and with these type of foods, they will not be nourished enough to make good decisions in life. The food that he brought back was the chiken taco trio. First of all the tacos looked like a brown piping hot steaming pile of dinosaur feces. I was really disappointed.

I ate the chicken taco trio at my childs school. i got diarhea from it, and my digestive system will never be the same again. my child has been subjected to this food for almost every day. no wonder their always hungry, as the portions are barely adequate for kindergardeners.

Hello Sirs. I have some eyebrows, my enchiladas seem to be shrek out of their ears. They were disgusting. I had a heart attack and they sent me to the emergency room and told me that I would have my pink anus until death. But in spite of everything I liked the experience and until this day I still eat them.
