I my daughter attended this school you cant reach the school at any time by phone Dr.Abad school administer is very disrespectful Im trying to enroll my daughter out of the school and enroll her in another because she was not happy and receiving the proper education and they wont send her records to the other school and shes missing days behind this very frustrate. When I talk to the Dr. She cut me off and threatened to not send my daughters school records and eventually hing up on me. Dont send your child to this school at all.

I went to this school and I had such a horrible time there. All teachers only use textbooks to teach us and most the time it didnt even make any sense because the textbooks are so out dated. There is no fun classes and this school has no funds because the school is too small and no student wants to be there. If you get mad at someone the school will know and make you two become friends or something like that, and if you feel like being alone there is no where for you to go because the is just ONE hallway. It may be on a college campus and you may get to be in college class but every school in Oakland lets you do that. There is nothing good at this school. And the person that runs this school, Dr.Abad, doesnt listen to the students or parents. If you really want to go there be my guest but know its like hell there. Dr.Abad has eyes everywhere and knows almost everything about you, you will get in trouble for no reason like going to hang out with friends after school. She has the most stupid rules. And she takes way our phone in the start of the day and will not let you use it until you left togo home. You cant go home if you dont feel good they just make you stay until school is done and that is just not right. I really think that school is not the school for you go somewhere better. Best of luck to you and your child - student that went to COVAH and let to go somewhere way better

I came for 6th and 7th grade. I loved the music, but the kids were wrong doing, and said bad words. The school is dead now, and I am overall not happy that it closed down.
