I go to Montera. Im in the 8th grade Ive been going since i left elementary school. The school is great. Some of the kids can be rude or mean but overall its a nice environment. The teachers may be tough but its only cause they want the best from you. I would total recommend this school

Pretty good. BUT we need clean after ourselves....But also if you support LGBTQ community and dont like any racists or bad groups then this may be the school for you.

I was dropping off/picking up students. Not a lot of room for public parking. A couple of stalls for handicap parking.

I love this school even though kids are kinda mean you can still find friends!

It is with great heart ache and pain i write this note hoping that the intended authorities will see how serious this issue is and that i am determined to take this matter to the highest. Montera Middle school is a school where my child attends and for the past one year, its not been what we had hoped it would be for him. Just this night i heard the news that broke my heart. My son has been a victim of bully in the school for over 4 months and i just got to find out because i had been in Boot Camp. I remember the day i went to tkae my ASVAB test last november, he was beaten up by a gang of 5 kids from his school, i reported the case but the police did not do any thing to help. T he school told me the kids had been banned from using the shuttle but i am sure that did not last. My son has been very scared to take the bus or even go to school now because he faces this situation almost on a daily basis now and you cna imagine how devastating it is for a mother who vowed to uphold and defend the constitution of this great country to fin out that her child is a victim of bully in his school. I have been asking myself what it is you and the AC TRANSIT BUS DRIVERS ARE DOING TO HELP THESE CHILDREN WE HAVE ENTRUSTED YOU GUYS WITH. IT BEAST ME TO KNOW YOU SEE AND HEAR ALL THESE REPORT BUT DO NOTHING TO AT LEAST PROTECT OUR KIDS. MY HEART ACHES SO BAD THIS EVENING KNOW THAT MY SON HAS BEEN GOING THROUGH THIS ISSUE FOR A LONG TIME NOW. MY JOB IS TO DEFEND YOUR CHILDREN, OUR CHILDREN BUT WHAT IS YOUR JOB, JUST TEACH? DO YOU HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THESE KIDS START TO PULL OUT WEAPON BEFORE YOU ACT? DO YOU HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MY SON IS HURT BEFORE YOU OPEN AN INVESTIGATION AND FIGHT TO DEFEND THE RIGHT HE MAY NEVER ENJOY? WHAT IS REALLY THE ISSUE HERE? I AM AN AMERICAN AIRMAN, I HAVE TAKEN AN OATH TO DEFEND THIS COUNTRY BOTH FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC AND THAT INCLUDES MY SON SO I WILL BE FILING CHARGES.

I went to Montera from 1979- 1982. It was a great experience and by far my favorite school. I was able to graduate 9th grade easily. (Back then it was 7-9th grades). Mr. Ray, Mr. Scudder, Mrs. Morrelli were all great and makes me wish i still lived in the area so that my 13 year old could attend. Being in an area that is upper middle class im sure helped. Today there may be issues due to allowing out of district kids to attend. That was not as much of an issue when i was there, and never really bothered me. Some of my best friends i went to Montera with, lived out of the area.And by the way, a year after I graduated from montera (1983), I took the high school equivalency test (CHSPE) and passed it the first time with the education that i received from Montera.

Today is the day that my son will not be in the way of the little savages that go to montera, lets keep this clear i am a black man in every sense of the word,today at 2;00 pm one of the mntera students rob my son of his money in a very violent way,.I advise parents if your child does not have the propensity for violence this is not the school for them.save the childrenAQUIL NAJI

I had to fight to survive and if i didnt fight i would of been bullied and beaten up it had good teachers but horrible students

Im in 8th grade and I like this school it is just the people are out of control and the teachers pressure you to do things you rather not but its a good school I give a shout out to Mr brewer Mr Miller and Ms mayorga thanks for putting up with us
