Amazing dojo. This isn’t even a dojo, it’s a family and you can archived so much there. It helps with so much useful stuff. This does NOT teach you how to beat up a kid you don’t like, however, it DOES teach you how to defend yourself and keep yourself safe. Self Defense was my favorite activity, along with rolls and throws. They also teach hand grabs, and how to escape from a stranger or someone you don’t like grabbing your arms, hands or chest. It’s very good and I HIGHLY recommend it. There are no age limits, (obviously not babies, but kids above 4 are allowed to train, as long as they obey and understand/ comprehend basic rules) so weather you’re 10 or 100, you can train here. Free, but donations are appreciated. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!😄😋

This is a highly respected non-profit dojo where you can learn Jujitsu, Akido, Japanese sword fighting, and Wing Chun Kung Fu. The school has been here since 1991 and has a great reputation. I studied Wing Chun here starting in 2008 and have found it to be a great place to train, with top notch teachers and great values. Located not far from Lake Merrit.
