I mean you can definitely tell they are students. If you have nowhere to go and nothing else to do with your day then maybe give em a try. I just dont have time to be sitting for two to three hours getting my nails done(just hands, i didnt even wanna think about getting my toes done after the two hours it had already took) My life is busy and I need to be in and out. My tech also kept stopping and having to look for supplies but again if you have the patience, go for it! They are students not yet licensed and its super obvious and for that reason I think that the prices could be lower since your paying for student level nails not licensed level nails.

I gave 3 stars because the instructor Curtisa knows how to lay some acrylic nails. But that’s about it. She’s not up to date on new techniques in the nail industry nor does she practice nail health properly. I was a student here and honestly I wish I had done my research. I myself am black, so I thought supporting a black business in Oak Park would be BOMB! But I was sooooo wrong. Curtisa and her husband Tony are the reason blacks are stereotyped and not taken serious as business owners. Please do your research and ask around before you go to any school. Especially before you make a payment.
