This is the best school I have ever went to. I went to Pepper and people at Pepper used to say be good or they gon send you to Nova. I was bad and then I got sent to Nova. I was kinda scared at first but it got better. All the things that it was better than pepper at is, you didn’t need a uniform, the breakfast was great and they always had plenty, I was friends with the female security guard, you could listen to music as you work, the classrooms were quiet other than the occasional yell or something. Rarely fights. When you got done with your work you could play on the computer. Sometimes they opened the gym. In a room down the hall to the left is a room with chairs and a room in the back and to the left when you walk in. My teacher sometimes took us there. Other times when my main teacher want there we would have a teacher named Mr.Dedman he liked to talk to the boys about basketball. He also joked a lot. The receptionist at the front was nice. The lunch is the best thing there. They had 3 sections of food. The first one you could create your own sub, the middle one usually had fast foods such as burgers and tater tots. For a few dollars you could buy a ice cream cup with nuts and other things in it. And then on the far right we’re always breakfast foods. Sometimes pancakes other times toast. The lunch ladies look very clean and yeah I’m sad I had to go.

Some of the people are just rude and most of the staff dont really care about the kids. It seems like they are more interested in a paycheck rather than teaching. I have one child that attended the oakpark district and they failed him, my next will go elsewhere. I feel that they need to reevaluate the WHOLE program. If the kids are really a concern to them.

My daughter went to this school bc she got in a fight and she said its like prison

Great program if your child needs to recover credits. They help your child to graduate.

Great environment for the children it also helps the high school children get extra credits
