Excellent studio.. Daughter loves it. Handled this pandemic wonderfully.

Weve been a part of the Ken and Jean family for over 10 years and I couldnt ask for a better studio for my girls. From the owner, to each and every instructor, to the assistants, they all have an amazing gift with the students. They make the youngest dancers comfortable and confident to dance in front of people. As the girls get older, they gain more confidence and discipline through the teaching there, and still have a fun, fantastic time. The studio is a family. The cattiness that can happen in other studios doesnt happen there. The parents are all more than willing to help other parents and students with just about anything. The owner knows every student and parent by name. They truly care about the well being of every student, both in and out of the studio. They work with the students not only to become wonderful and talented dancers, but also wonderful young ladies and men. The recitals run like clockwork. So very well organized and highly entertaining!! Each and every costume picked with care and never too revealing. The dances are choreographed with incredible talent and skill. They have put together some of the best competition teams around, as evidenced by the many national Champion of Champions awards they have won. So from the youngest of beginners to the graduating seniors, the Ken and Jean Dance Studio provides a most incredible experience.

Ken and Jeans has been the absolute best decision I have made for my two daughters. The teachers and owner, Darcy, are wonderful. They teach so much more than dance. They teach my girls confidence and commitment and all while smiling and having fun. They know every single dancer that comes in that door by name. Every year they put on amazing recitals. I have loved watching my girls dance every year and can’t wait to see what is next.

My grand daughters (i have 4 of age to dance) took dance at this studio and i have never been so impressed by the kindness and encouragement given to all four of them. The teachers in this school are amazing with these children making them feel good about themselves and every new accomplishment. My girls adored their teachers and want so much to dance like the seniors. Not only do they make the children feel special but we were all included. The mothers day dance they did was a wonderful surprise. It touched my heart. I cant say enough about how pleasantly surprised i was by this whole experience and my girls will definitely be back in the fall. Thank you all at ken and jeans for being so wonderful.

I have been dancing here since I was 4 years old and I apsolutely love it here! I love all the teachers there and Ive made many new friends throughout the years. I hope to dance here for the rest of my life and hopefully be an assistant teacher when Im older.

I love the classy, traditional style of the studio. I love that dancers are not in competition with each other for featured spots. I love that all costumes are modest and that there is no drama among students and parents. My daughter has truly found lifelong friendship with her dance family. Simply the best!

My daughter has been dancing at Ken and Jeans for six years now and she loves it! I couldnt ask for a more well trained and caring group of teachers than the ones here. Coming from a dance background myself, I appreciate their strong focus on ballet technique. They are one of the few studios in the area that offer Cecchetti method ballet classes. Thank you for keeping this amazing studio going strong after 70 plus years!!

Ken and Jeans has a legacy of excellence. Appropriate technique is still the cornerstone of the program. My children love the classes and teachers. I have seen their growth as performers outside of the studio as well because of the body awareness and self-esteem instilled by the teachers.

When we began to look for a dance studio for my granddaughter we shied away from Ken & Jeans, believing it would be expensive and the teachers/other students would look down on someone dancing for fun, not for competition. When we found it cost the same as other local studios we chose Ken & Jean for convenience but were blown away with how much it exceeded our expectations. The instructor was encouraging and kept the class fun. The older students acted as mentors and helped the younger students. Darcy herself, the director of the studio, got to know each girl personally and instilled the love of dance into each class. This first year was the beginning of a long relationship with Ken & Jean. I encourage anyone wanting to enroll their child in dance to come to this wonderful studio!

We LOVE Ken & Jeans! There is not a better studio to come by! My sister and I danced there for 18+ years and to now see my daughter back up on the stage with the most amazing teachers brings tears to my eyes! Ken & Jeans makes it a family experience and they are so great with all the dancers there, even the littlest ballerinas! If your looking for excellent technique and a family feel this is the place to be! We would not change anything about Ken & Jeans!!

Ken and Jean is a wonderful dance school. The teachers are amazing and very patient. My daughter cant wait to go to class and is now going into her 7th year. She is sad when dance ends in June and does not start again until September. I have made many friends also as I sit and watch the graceful dancers every week.

We have loved being a part of the Ken & Jean studio! We appreciate the focus placed on techniques as opposed to trends and the care taken to dress our girls in age appropriate, modest attire. The instructors are dedicated, talented and loving individuals who treat our children as though they are their own. Great place for kids to learn dance

My daughter was three years old when she started dancing at Ken and Jean Dance Studio, and has continued there for the last fifteen years. It is literally her second home, and I am so thankful for the wonderful experiences and life lessons that she has gained over that time. Those lessons learned have been the result of the most wonderful, caring, skilled, talented, and compassionate teachers who lead by example. Over the last fifteen years my daughter has been so beautifully trained in all areas of dance, but she has also learned so much more than just amazing dance skills. She’s learned both confidence and humility, grace, compassion, both self respect and respect for others, perseverance, that hard work pays off, time management, teamwork, love, friendship, and so much more. The studio is like one big happy family, and I can’t thank them enough for helping shape my daughter into the young woman she is today.

Just reiterating how much I appreciate the modest costumes, choreography, music choices, etc. Thanks for keeping our little girls little!
