I have gone twice within the last month and am very pleased. Being a graduate of a cosmetology school myself, this is a much better route. My stylist Lavon did a deep conditioning, hair cut and silk press which isn’t easy on my mixed textures of hair. She absolutely nailed it each time. I have had so many ladies ask me who did my hair! I am sad that I have to get braids for my delivery soon but the moment they come out I’ll be back! The environment is friendly and upbeat. The leaders also provide the students with the necessary tools to be successful. It is well worth the trip!

Im perplexed bc they did a GREAT job on my hair about 2 months ago, but we went in for a manicure and pedicure and they did a horrible job. I didnt even tip because it was so bad.

I went in with an appointment to get basic highlights retouched up and a little lighter and a hair cut. They BOTCHED my hair! I left with horizontal stripes and over all darker hair than what I went in with! 2 people were working on my hair and so each side turned out differently. I expressed my concerns numerous times to the instructor, Heather, who did not listen to what I was saying or wanted.bshe realized they messed up and tried fixing it with 2 different toners which made part of hair purple. I was soo upset. She still made me pay for the product. She kept talking to me like Ive never had my hair done before. She is terrible at customer service and I would never recommend anyone to go here. I left with my head half wet bc i was so upset. The worst experience ever! DO NOT GO HERE.

The person who did my hair really tried, I came in and wanted a retouch on my blonde and possibly get it lighter. Heather, the teacher, directed the person who did my hair on what to do. Once she was done, my hair was ORANGE AND DARK. I expressed how I felt to Heather and she walked away and never came back. The student didn’t fail, the teacher did. Horrible experience.

I was suppose to get purple hair. All they did was turn me blonde. Jim said come back and well take care of it if it doesnt take. Cause they had to redo it twice the day of. I got there at 9:30am and didnt leave till they closed! Now, they are saying i have to pay 30 more dollars to get the purple. Dont go here!

This place is the awesome. I love Sara and April. I have the VIP service which is $25 a year. With this you get free shampoo, conditioning, and hair cut. I would definitely try this place. All the lady are hard working and very friendly.

It was ok -- the girl who cut my hair is very kind and interested in giving me a really good and managable haircut.

Im going to leave this review to hopefully warn someone looking to start their career to avoid this place entirely. They will break you apart if you are not exactly who they want you to be. I got expelled from this school because of how I walked around the hallways. This school is drama filled starting with the students and ending with the director of this school. You barely get any clients and when you do its nothing like what you want to do in your career. Its mediocre at best and your expected to accept it. There are a few learning leaders that you can go to for anything, which is great, until the whole school is calling on those few learning leaders. I was bullied in this school, but I chose to keep my head up and keep going for my ultimate goal. And for that I was expelled, and I was told it was due to my body language. The people in that building are easily intimidated and rather than being focused on what we are there for, it turns into a game of gossip and Bestity. Do yourself a favor and do your research, there are plenty of schools out there to grow your career with. This school is overpriced, and undermining the expectations of the Paul Mitchell name.

I’ve been using the school for years The service is really good. The staff is pretty knowledgeable. The prices are great. It’s always interesting an experience! I love to experiment and they’re right there with me!

They place is very unprofessional in their communications to potentially clients. I called an left a on message Monday to schedule a make-up facial. A lady called me back to book the appointment. When I stated that I needed an appointment on Saturday, she informed me that they do not schedule appointments on Saturdays. They only accept walk ins on a forest come forest serve basis. I showed on Saturday as I was advised and another lady informed that they were completely booked for today.I informed her of what the other lady told me. This lady looked me in face and said Im sorry but we are booked today. She went on to say that they have people lined up outside on Saturday mornings wanted to book an appointment, as if any of this concerned me. I told her they may said to host show up at anytime on Saturday. She said we only work if the volunteers come in. I told her that I had driven completely out of my way and all she could was Im sorry. I informed her how they needed to get their information straight when they explain the protocol to potential clients.

My elderly mother went for a perm. It took 2 hours to roll her hair. They didn’t cut or dry her hair. I guess she really paid 30 dollars just for a nice shampoo. Her hair is STRAIGHT! No curl what so ever. Be aware. They take advantage of the elderly. I won’t let her go back EVER.

The service was okay. I was shocked at the way the students dressed. Most looked like they rolled out of bed and wore whatever dark clothing they found on the floor. One girl was wearing fuzzy black slippers. This gave me zero confidence. You can be casual and comfortable and still look professional.

This place is so unprofessional. I have been here several times over the past year only because its so cheap. The students and even the teachers do not dress professionally. Far from it. I expect to wait a long time for my services to be given to me because its from students. I generally their average in their quality. The overall tone of the place is very unprofessional and the teachers certainly do not set a good example for professionalism. I called earlier in the week to get an appointment on Saturday and was told there were no Saturday appointments at it was a first-come first-serve basis and they opened at 9:30. They are not open today perhaps because it is a labor day weekend. Would you would think if I had called just a few days before they would have said they were not open on this Saturday. Instead I drove 45 minutes to get here and its closed. I do not recommend this place for anyone

I love it here, everybody is extremely nice and out going. I never have a problem when I come to this place. Best place I have been to, to receive a haircut. Definitely would tell anybody and every body about this school! The school just welcomes you and makes you smile as soon as you walk through the front door. Love it!

I have attended this school from January 2014 and graduate Deans List April of 2015. The people that work here, from the admissions and financial aid staff to the learning leaders (teachers) and directors, are very supportive and love to help future professionals (students) and they care a LOT. I am a hard customer. I came in with a vague idea of what i wanted. They talked with me and what was produced was art. I love it. Im a middle school teacher and i like the wild hair. They layered in the colors so when I comb over one way it is professional but. The other way is funky. I love it.

But after being contacted by Paul Mitchells representatives, I am happy to say that everything has been worked out, Im very happy with the services I received today, I am very grateful for Elicia, Kaitlyn, and Tiffany. I went there for job shadowing as a school project, and honestly I would never regret my decision. Not only the staff but the students are amazing and will always make you feel welcomed and like you belong there. If you are ever stopping by the area I totally recommend going in and getting something done. You dont have to get your hair but you can get a wax. Please stop by there its great.

Went in for an all over color. the students that did my hair were very nice, however sloppy, I had hair dye all over my face and neck, they gave me some soap to wash it off myself. I needed the color to cover gray, which was mostly successful but my hair is definitely two toned, where gray was covered it is a reddish copper color, the rest is dark brown. The instructor never came over during the service or after the service to see the final results. Overall I left unhappy and will have to go somewhere else to have the color corrected.

I loved my visit here. Heather is awesome, she listened so well and got me exactly what I wanted. The instructors were all very attentive and everyone is very nice. Will be going here the next time I need anything done. Awesome group of people!

Had an awesome, personable experience with Bijan (Im not exactly sure if I spelled her name correctly, and girl - if youre reading this, Im sorry!) but I had an eyebrow wax and she was overall respectful, poised, down to earth, and talked me through each step in a professional manner. I absolutely loved the end result, and would recommend her to anyone!

I absolutely love this place. I have never once had a issue. I have long natural blonde hair and it is one of the hardest to work with. Every time I leave this place I am so happy and love my new hairstyle. I have had my hair damaged by salons too many times and I would rather come to this school where professionals observe and check on me constantly then ever go to a salon.

I was nervous about having my hair lightened I was blessed with Halleigh she did an awesome job!! I will be using her from now on!!

They completely messed my hair up - completely. It is the worse hair cut I have ever even seen on anyone. My feathery layers I asked for are two chunks of hair - one side past my chin, the other side up near my NOSE. Then for the length of my hair, I specifically asked for a HALF OF AN INCH to be trimmed off the bottom, she cut 3-4 inches off. Joe Dirt has better hair than I do. It is the most hideous thing you have ever seen.

Went in for manicure pedicure and dermologica facial. Got Emily, she understood i was the quiet type and didnt make me feel rude for not conversing with her, which helped me relax so much more! The facial is a win! Very relaxing atmosphere and my skin looks and feels beautiful, so props to Emily and thank you!

Its Awesome! I have been there 3 times so far and always Great people and service. Everyone there is very helpful. My 1st experience was a perm. My hair is naturally curly except for the top layer and its straight. They did the perm to match the rest of my hair and it looked Great! My 2nd visit was a hair trim and they were very careful and my curly difficult hair looked really Good when they finished. (Other places leave my hair uneven). My 3rd visit was a facial and a perm. The facial was amazing and very relaxing, making me want one once a week. And the perm was Great. I highly recommend Imagine of Little Rock, Paul Mithcell. I have even got my husband getting his haircut there too.

I made an appointment over the phone yesterday for a coloring appointment at 4:45 for today. Well I guess the front desk lost my appointment because when I got there, they couldnt find me in their system. All I got was an Im sorry but theres nothing we can do! So I wont be back since they cant seem to correctly schedule appointments. I took off early from work in order to make this appointment!

I have begin coming to Paul Mitchell for 5 years. I transitioned from a relaxer to natural with Paul Mitchells help. I have 3 girls and all but one are natural as well. I love the Paul Mitchell awapuhi products including the keratin treatment and the marula deep conditioner is what we get with our service. Im very thankful their services are inexpensive especially when youre a single parent.

I went to go get a haircut, the girl said that she had JUST done that haircut so I was feeling good about it. An hour later they had no idea what to do because it was not looking like I wanted it to I even showed a picture, in the whole mix of things 4 girls came and went to try to figure out how to do my hair good enough so it wont look bad because they had already messed it up. It took way to long just for a haircut. Never going here again.

Best beauty school ever! Very clean and professional. As far as the reviews saying they had a bad hair cut experience, understand it is a school, and students are at different stages in their education. Ask for a senior or a Phase Two future professional if youre concerned someone could have difficulty doing your hair :)

The poor girls that tried to do a pedi had no training. No supervision. No nail polish options. The whole experience was horrible. The polish was thick. It looked like a two year old did it. They cant use tools to trim cuticles from lack of having them to also no training. We actually had to go purchase our own polish. No wonder it was only $12. Id be embarrassed if I worked there. Im embarrassed I went. Never again. You do apparently get what you pay for. If being nice was all there was to it Id have no issues. In summary there was a total lack of training, equipment and ability to give a good pedi. Id be hysteical if this were the same issues with hair.....so glad all I had to do was wipe off polish. You cant undo a hair issue. Pay money and go somewhere else. Or go to Paul Mitchells at your own risk. As for this girl and our whole bridal party we wont make this same mIstake ever again.

I went in for an all over color and had a horrible experience. The student (Tyler) who did my hair took so long that the color ended up on my head closer to an hour and a half, I am still trying to repair the damage done by his mistakes. Even though he attempted to wash out the hair dye there was clearly still dye clumped along my hair line on my neck after he washed it out - enough to dye my fingertips when I touched it on the drive home - and I ended up having to shower when I got home to get the hair dye out completely. Not to mention his pitiful attempts to clean my hair line by forcefully SCRUBBING with a damp towel, were both painful and ineffective. To make matters worse, he blow dried my hair after I told him I dont use heat and was shocked at how frizzy it became (despite me warning him repeatedly that that is what happens when you apply heat to curly hair) and only put on a smoothing serum / heat protectant AFTER I asked for it. He did not cut my hair after the coloring, even though that was included. He made sure to let me know he was running short on time, insulted my political views, and severely damaged my hair. His instructor disappeared half-way through the process and did NOT show up after to see the results. Hugely dissatisfied and will NOT recommend.
