My kids have blossomed here at this school. The building is beautiful, clean, and safe. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the administration are knowledgeable and understanding. My kids absolutely love the fresh salad bar provided for the lunch option. There are several opportunities for students to shine! My daughter was in the Cinderella play this year and my son played soccer. As a parent I have peace of mind that my kids are receiving a traditional education that inspires my kids to critically think, problem solve, and work on short and long term projects. I highly recommend this school!

I currently have two children attending legacy and they have had a great experience. Since this is the first year this school is in operation there are a lot of adjustments to be made. We love the accelerated curriculum and the music program. This school has a lot of potential and were looking forward to another great year.

This school has an organization and bullying problem.My son LOVED this school and his class. That shortly ended when he came home to tell me people we picking on him, and every time he asked for help, he was ignored.After almost half a school year of dealing with the bullying, my son began to act out.After multiple times of reaching out, we were passed from one staff member to the next. Always dealing with someone new. Always hearing new promises that someone would help my son, but it never actually happened.There arent any counselors staffed, and the teachers are loaded with 30+ children each.Each principal we spoke with promised to help, and instead passed us to the next person. By the end of the whole ordeal, our last option was to withdraw him, or he would be expelled.Legacy traditional school has failed my child, and has taken on a bigger load than I think they can handle.

My son loves the school and his teacher, he is only on the 1st grade and he has learned a lot. In comparison to his friends from his old school he is a head. The school is new and theres some things that needs to be fixed for example less kids per class.

I was previous student at this school and their was an incident with my teacher where she told administration a whole bunch of untruthful stories about me and they didnt follow up with my parents about the issue and the new principal failed at her job and has now messed up my record with unseasoned suspension and if they were to look at previous records at my old school they would have seen that i am an A B student that has never been a trouble maker so yes they have failed me and my fellow peers with their life choices and I have had the worst experience at Legacy Traditional School on Valley. I hope future parents and students luck with the very untrained teachers that hold grudges against students that which then get mad and take it out on their grades. We are very disappointed with our experience with Legacy. We found that there was an extraordinary lack of communication from administration when it came to very important issues (such as grades and safety). However, they were very communicative when it came to asking for donations every other week. When our concerns were brought to administration, we were treated with dismissiveness. Leadership seemingly refuses to take responsibility and will have no problem blaming teachers, students or parents. All administration cares about is test scores and will steer you to leave if those test scores are not met. Beware, if your child is bullied action will NOT be taken. Also, their driveline is AWFUL. Expect to take 1hr to pick your child up every time. Before you apply, save yourself the trouble. They do not care about your child’s safety, only your money.

I used to go toLegacy, I was in 7th grade, and I moved back to my old school because of the kids there. I was at the top of my class, and there were a bunch of kids messing around, slacking off doing nothing, even though this is supposed to be a advanced school. I was behind, and when I moved back to my other school I was way behind everyone, because in the advanced classes at my school, they move faster, and they learn a lot more. I did not like my time at that school.

Legacy Traditional School is like another CCSD school or becoming one. The students are fighting in the school already. Students are having sex in the bathroom, bring marijuana to school and a lot of behavior issues with kids. The Principal Tom Ellis is weak, he have been harassed by parent for let kids fight after kid report to someone that a kid was going to try to fight him. Basically the new school is out control with no consequence for the students and their parents, it should be a privilege for parents kids to go charter school....Let get these kids under control now.

Legacy is one of the worst schools ive ever been to. most of the staff dont know how to do their job im in 8th grade and im glad that im fone with school cause this school sucks i no longer have to worry ab that school anymore i dont like this school at all im glad im done with this school it sucks and i never liked it many students and parents dont like the school either

I am currently going to this school 6th grade😁I’m just going to say 😶This school is annoying af my teacher is annoying some teachers are nice 👍🏽I said some NOT ALL👌🏽My teacher confuses me even more she blames u for getting of topic when she’s the one who started that topic the requirements suck 😑😤sometimes I be thinking that my teacher be acting stupid and mixes things up and blames it on the other teachers and principal 😂😑😑
