This school used to be 18th avenue and I remember coming here when I was around 6 or 7. Im glad to see that they didnt remove the exterior construction of this school and that Newark is finally stepping up when it comes to education unlike back then which wasnt so good.

This place is not bad but the reason i give it a 3 star is because the lunch people are so rude and nasty they treat you like animals and give us some terrible things like raw,wet,gritty eggs and the best thing they give is probs the sausages and those are stale and they cook the food the day before and heat it up the next day so it could be old and crusty one of my friends threw up because of it but the teachers are really nice and they have very fun afterschool programs

I love my school and the way that we are taughtBut I do think that the school can work better on listening to the kids and make sure they are doing what the kids want to a certain extent

Well my daughter goes to bold and my son goes to thrive and lets just say its a beautiful school

My daughter attends thrive and she is thriving. She loves going to school. The staff is so supportive they really care about their students education. Love love this school.

Best school, the teachers and the staff are always there to answer any questions and concern... they really are a family. my kid have growth so much with them. i would recommend it to any parents.

I been with kipp since 2006. My son was a founding scholar at Rise and then attended and graduated from Newark Collegiate Academy. One of my daughters is a founding scholar at Thrive and the other one is also there. The staff at all the sites are wonderful. They treat you like family and are always there when you need them. My kids have strived in many areas, academically and socially.

They have fun events like crazy socks day and have fun learning methods so plz come to this school

Well Im a scholar who goes to this school and its one of the best schools Ive went to it has everything Ive every wanted for example learning in the most possible fun way but even more educational and the teachers want every student to look up to what they want and achieve so if your looking for a school for 5 grade for your child this is the best place
