Hands down the best real estate school. Ivy is very informed. She knows her stuff. I took real estate along with the notary course and passed both tests the first time. While taking the notary course, Ivy convinced me to become a signing agent as well. She said that’s where I’ll make my money and she was right. I’ve been making a killing as a signing agent. Thanks Ivy!!

Someone in the industry recommended that I take the sales agent classes. I was not disappointed. I appreciated how knowledgeable and thorough the instructors were. There is a lot of information to learn. The classes are scheduled in a way to accommodate everyones busy schedules--days--evening--and weekends. They really care about the students and go out of their way to make sure everyone is properly educated and prepared for entering this business. They offer classes for other areas of the industry as well. I highly recommend this school.

Excellent school. You learn significantly more than just the book smarts, which will not make you successful in the streets. Ivy has a plethora of knowledge (in addition to Lisa and Jon). They teach you the street smarts, along with real life experiences they endured.I would highly recommend this school for anybody who wants to learn real estate, or get their salesperson license. Well worth the money for the education. You can tell that the teachers are in it for the teaching and not the little money that is made in education.

3 hour class could have been taught in 1-1.5 hours. They charge $20 for a “book” they emailed to me. Also, you really don’t need the class to pass the notary license exam. If you want the “book”, email me

Fantastic place with great instructors! They offer great discounted prices, mention the groupon price if they are still offering it.John is a great teacher who takes his time explaining the material.Ivy is a personality that you need to understand but when you do you will find that she has A LOT of incredibly valuable information to share! My first class with her was rough. But by the time i was completing the course i understood that she repeats things as a way to drill it into the students heads! Running like a mad dog across town - was a phrase that was ringing in my head as i was literally running cross town thinking to myself - Thank you Ivy for the real life lesson!Lisa and the rest of the instructors do an amazing job educating you.The entire school focuses on teaching you the material and real life application which from what i heard and researched you dont get from many schools!Thank you IVY for the great time!

Purchased the course on Groupon and definitely got my moneys worth.I completed the course, passed the school exam (in one hour) and state exam (in a half hour), on the first take, all within two months. But keep in mind, generally speaking, I tend to do well on standardized tests. I already have a Series 7 & 63 (both which I also passed on the first take). And Ive been working in the real estate business, for four years already, as an assistant. So I entered the course with quite a bit of working knowledge, which was a huge advantage, because I was already familiar with a lot of the material covered throughout the course.

I LOVE IVY SCHOOL! I always have a great experience and Ivy takes such good care of her students. She always provides a snack bar and often caters herself. She has a unique personal touch and includes great stories to illustrate the lessons well. I remember so much that taking the state exams is a breeze!

The Ivy Real Estate Education Center is Amazing. The integrity, style and knowledge that is offered to the students is extraordinary. The teachers are beyond dedicated and inspirational. They have the gift of making boring facts, which are tedious, somehow ...able to absorb. They teach you about how to exist and prosper in the real world, way beyond passing your state test. They care about your future, and give you soo much.A caring group of brilliant, true professionals..with great energy and passion.

Ivy and her team of instructors are pretty good. Her RE course test is more rigorous than the NY State test; therefore if you pass her test, you shouldnt have a problem passing the State exam. She is Honest and a no-nonsense person. So Come on time, and stay to the end !!!

Waste of Time--- Dont Come Here ....I would recommend choosing another school if you are interested in learning. I was given this course as a gift, so I did completed it. However if I had PAID for the course I would have asked for my money back.Instruction: You should know you will be teaching yourself everything you need to know. You will not gain ANY knowledge from the teachers (who are very nice, and no doubt successful, but that doesnt make them good teachers)You will hear countless accounts of the owners life stories, how she married her husband as a single mother, how her son and his wife live, how Ivy Real Estate prepares you for real life but no other school does and a million other irrelevant stories that drag on for hours and otherwise waste valuable class time. Some of the topics are not taught correctly and are littered with negative racial connotations and other irrelevant stories which leave you looking for the point There is obviously NO lesson planning because 90% of what is taught are opinions, do not show up in the text and should be omitted.Facility: Is absolutely disgusting, -- during the winter is was often so cold I could not take my coat off. The womens bathroom is always backed up with everything you can imagine, there is constantly construction going on during class hours and it is impossible to read your text book (or listen to the instructors if there ever was anything worth listening to)Staff: Rude, Rude and sometimes incompetent and unprofessional. All throughout the course you had better keep track of everything because if you ask them whether you completed a course on the schedule, it will take them 2 weeks to get back to you. After you finish the course, you need to take an Exit exam which is only offered on Mondays during the day. If you must schedule it at another time, then you need to call them and schedule it. They will take your message-- tell you someone will call you back BUT THEY NEVER WILL. You will keep calling and calling-- the person who took your message will deny they did and you are back at square one.I personally have been yelled at by one of the staff members-- after I asked her to stop being rude-- she replied Well, you were cutting me offThe level of unprofessionalism ranges from instructors wearing offensive tube top dresses to teach, listening to racial slurs in class, to staff having absolutely no people skills to handle basic telephone calls and relaying of messages.JUST AVOID this place...

Blown away how good this school is. I hold a MBA and a second Masters degree. Ive taken test preps before for my CFA & CPA. And for a little over a $1/hr this school gives you a ton of tidbits you can use in Real Estate whether you are trying to be a Broker, Agent, Property Manager, or Investor. Well worth the price many times over!Prior to starting the school, I was nervous as the other school (NYREI) had a 1 month wait, and there was no wait here (both the same price though). Now by the time that month comes around I will be finished!I saw that the other place have 3X as many people in a classroom. One advantage of Ivy is there are smaller class sizes, so you get to know your classmates, especially during breaks.
