As first-time parents in a pandemic, we were a little nervous about what to expect but from day 1, the whole team at Bright Horizons has been so thoughtful and continually put our minds at ease. Our son has been at this center at 6 months old, and we are so happy with the experience weve had. All the teachers are incredibly caring and are truly delighted to see our son, and he really has thrived during this time here. Teachers and staff are communicative, and the health and safety measures are also very thorough.

We absolutely love Bright Horizons at West 72nd! As first-time parents, we were incredibly nervous about being away from our baby girl - but the staff and teachers put our minds at ease right away with their warm care, professionalism, and consideration for health and safety. Our daughter joined the center at six months old and is now at 20 months is thriving in the Toddler classroom. The activities and curriculum are robust, the teachers know our kiddo so well, and we are updated with pictures throughout the day. Her teachers also provide very helpful guidance and suggestions that we can apply at home to enhance what shes learning at Bright Horizons. Our daughter is learning so much and looks forward to spending time with her teachers and friends every day. We couldnt be happier!

This is the worst Bright Horizons day care we have ever been. They complain for everything. Not sending my kid there again.

We’ve been at Bright Horizons on 72nd for almost 3 years now and it’s been fantastic. From the staff to the curriculum, our child has grown so much there - all thanks to them. Whenever we pick up our daughter she says, “I want to come back another day!”

With two kids at the center we have always felt confident in their care. We are very impressed with how much our three year old has learned during her time at BH, and all teachers have openly communicated with us, even when we can’t physically go into the school during the pandemic.

The teachers truly care for the children and strive to develop their intellectual and emotional intelligence. It is such a feeling of relief knowing when I drop my daughter off, she is in safe, loving care. And when I pick her up, Im thrilled to see that she has learned something new and had fun!

We have been using this center since our kid was 6 months- all classrooms are sparkling clean, the staff is very attentive and kind, we feel like we have our parenting team here. Since it reopened late August the protocols have been transparent and efficient. We have complete peace of mind leaving our kid in the care of this wonderful crew!!

Bright Horizons at West 72nd is one of the best day care centers around. The teachers are wonderful to the children and very responsive to parents whenever we contact them via emails and phone. Their response and action towards COVID has also been tremendous, they have put a lot of effort in making sure children and teachers are safe. My daughter loves going to daycare to see her teachers and friends, the activity that they do seems to be very fun, exciting and age appropriate. She is learning new things every day and can feel and see her develop emotionally and physically. We certainly made the right choice by deciding on this place.

We love the 72nd street center! Our daughter has been going to BH since she was 4 months old and is now 16 months, and she loves it! They helped tremendously when we first sent her to daycare and made the transition for us as parents as smooth as possible and worry free. When she moved to the 1’s classroom, her nap and meal transition couldn’t have gone better. They keep us updated on her progress and what they are working on in the class so it can be reinforced at home (like learning to use a spoon and sign language). The staff is extremely caring and knowledgeable and really knows every parent and and child personally. Their curriculum and lesson plans are creative and we love seeing pictures of her doing the activities all day (painting, art, music, etc).

We started sending our child to Bright Horizons on West 72nd Street in December of 2019. It was our first choice all along, but the centers opening date didnt align with when we needed childcare. As soon as our child was ready to transition out of infants to toddlers, we felt it was the best time to make the change. The space of the center is amazing. Everything is brightly lit and super clean and the folks in the front of the center are always welcoming and accessible. They made sure that as new parents we understood that no question or concern was too small. The toddler room he was in was huge compared to rooms at other places we toured. The room was well staffed, and we loved his teachers. They provided us with daily feedback about how his day was and were quick to address anything that we should monitor as well as gave feedback about what to work on at home. Teachers are and management have always made themselves available via conference calls or Zoom if you can’t make it in person. When it was time to transition from toddlers to twos, they had a one week transition plan where he spend more time in his new room every day. By the end of the week, he was in the twos room with his older friends waiting for his younger friends to join him as they turned two.The Center was shut down due to Coronavirus and reopened in August. The Centers leadership provided us with all their safety guidelines and listed everything they were doing to keep the center clean and safe and no question or concern went unaddressed. They were fully transparent about everything and were able to provide a detailed reason for every policy. Weve been back at Bright Horizons West 72nd Street for a few months and are thrilled that hes getting social interaction with other kids, days full of arts and crafts, language development, and physical activities. If you’re considering a place to send your child, we endorse this place enthusiastically. We don’t feel like we’re just sending our child to day care. We feel like we are letting a warm, loving, caring team of people take care of our child and nurture him educationally, physically and emotionally thanks to the wonderful staff at Bright Horizons.

Bright Horizons at West 72nd is an amazing childcare center. The staff are warm, welcoming and truly make parents & teachers feel so comfortable leaving their children in BH care. Not only was it a place we loved to send our son before Covid, but weve been so thrilled with the response & safety measures that have put in place since. They work diligently to ensure children & staff are safe, the building and classrooms are clean and the protocols in place align with the latest CDC, stay and NYC guidance. Our son transitioned back to daycare (post-Covid) better than we could have ever expected thanks to the BH 72 staff. He is excited to go to school each day, hes learning so much, developing emotionally & mentally and having tons of fun.

We were recommended Bright Horizons from friends in Westchester, and BH at 72nd Street did not disappoint! Our daughter started at 15 months and we couldn’t be happier with our experience there. She’s now been to three classrooms, and each has had warm, caring staff who are amazing at what they do! Our daughter has learned so much and constantly talks about her teachers, proclaiming how much she loves “school”. The administration is fantastic and responsive to all inquiries. I have great piece of mind dropping her off each morning that she is loved, cared for and nurtured throughout the day.

Great infant day care for our daughter. The teachers care a lot and stay in close communication with my wife and I. Our daughter loves Miss Maria, and its amazing to see how much more comfortable shes become with her teachers and other infants.
