The best teachers, very Professional!

My daughter has danced here since the summer of me writing this review. For the price you pay per month and the quality of product they produce, as well as the attitude and professionalism they have I would rate this place even higher. I am so pleased with the staff and definitely recommend sending your children here.

I guess elder dancers arent welcome. Im 51 and though Im a 48 year, semi pro (retired) lyrical dancer, Im new to En Pointe.Ive been practicing for 4 months on my own, but could really use some guidance now, as Ive gone as far as I can go on my own.Called almost two weeks ago. Never received a call back.VERY disappointing. Ill be looking for a dance academy thats senior dancer friendly elsewhere.

My daughter just completed her first year at Sells Broadway and she loves it! Mr. Chris is truly amazing. He knows how to deal with the little ones and his patience is pi level. Before coming to Sells, my daughter attended free classes at two other agencies that are nearby and we were not satisfied. When she attended the combo class with Mr. Chris we immediately knew he was a keeper. Their recital is like out of Broadway. I’ve been to other recitals and there is no comparison. The amount of work and dedication they put into this is out of this world. We are definitely staying for many years to come.

We recently went to our son Christian’s first dance recital. My sister and her family also joined us from out of town. All five of her children are involved in professional dance and theatre. I tell you this because they were as was I blown away by the show. It was so well executed by all the dancers. Thank you Sell’s Broadway Dance for being such a valuable asset in teaching dance. The experience my son is getting is phenomenal.

Sells was recommended to us by a friend and we have been extremely pleased so far. My daughter is 5 and what’s most important to me is that she loves her instructor and can’t wait for class ... Mr. Chris is excellent with the kids and gives each child individual attention even in a group setting. That’s all I can ask for.. he goes above and beyond and she is learning. We started late, right before recital and everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful with my many questions. The recital was amazing!

Daughter has been dancing here since she was 3. Completed 3 recitals which are more Productions than anything with a separate ballet and elaborate backdrops. Lots of performance opportunities if you chose to participate. All the instructors are trained PROFESSIONALS and have extensive backgrounds in dance. My child loves her classes and has made lifelong friendships! I danced professionally myself at one point and was very picky where I was going to send my daughter. They also offer ballet and tap classes for adults!

My daughter has been with Sells for 6 years and absolutely loves it. The teachers are amazing! Its more than a dance studio for us its like family! She is learning to dance while making friendships that will last a lifetime.

This place is great. Mr. Chris is wonderful with my autistic daughter. She loves tap. However my only issue with them is they charge for random things a lot. They say one price then add extra for things like parties, tickets, and random things.

Weve been with Sells for 7 years, we started taking my daughter cause she just needed something to do at 2 years old. I wasnt sure what i was getting myself into. 7 years later we are still there and my daughter loves every minute spent at the studio. She has excellent teachers and made amazing friends. The performances are phenomenal especially the recitals!

SBDC has been our second home for the past five years. I have two dancers enrolled who participate in all performances available to them. One was on their team the year before last and was also invited to participate with them this year for an extra performance (even though we couldnt be on the team this year for personal reasons). Ive watched both of my girls blossom into confident, fierce young ladies who love what they do and who they are taught by. Chris is an amazing teacher and my girls adore him. His tap instruction is unparalleled...his easy level is what most others would call intermediate or even advanced. There is a family atmosphere, especially due to the amount of time we have and do spend there. I danced for almost half my life, so I knew what to look for and what to avoid and chose to send them there because of their level of instruction. The days and weeks leading up to performances can be hectic and crazy but its all worth it when you see the magic that unfolds on stage!

My daughter just started last night in ballet 1.. She is loving it. Everyone has been so helpful and nice. Very affordable too! I highly suggest them!

The owner is unprofessional. One of the instructors we had was really good with my daughter, but classes never start and end on time.

My cousin has danced at sell’s now for 3 years. She started when she was 3 an has loved it since day one. I have watched all three of the recitals an it’s like watching a broadway show. Absolutely amazing!!!

My daughter joined Sells to be a member of the competition team. Not only does she love being part of a winning team, she loves being part of a fantastic group of girls and a caring staff that truly strives to bring out the best in my daughter as both a dancer and a person. You truly wont find a better dance studio anywhere!

Where students become pros! Longest running studio in the NPR area!

It’s been a year since we completed our search for the best dance academy for our little daughter. We chose SBDC because they offered the most complete curriculum in our area.Since the beginning, they have been professional and dedicated to the development of our daughter’s dance abilities. Mr. Chris and the entire staff have passion, dedication, carisma and all the necessary skill to capture the attention of students of all ages.Mr. Chris and his team are very accommodating and extremely organized. It is managed by Broadway professionals and it reflects on everything. From day to day operations to recitals and events. It’s been a couple of weeks since our daughter’s first recital. It was a high level production, the show was carefully and delightfully crafted, quality was nothing short of a Disney production ad organization was spot on from beginning to end. SBDC students have been accepted or hired by professional art companies or prestigious colleges. It is definitely the right place to take your little ones to learn, perfect or develop their talent. I highly recommend SBDC to every parent out there.

My granddaughter has danced at Sells Broadway for many years and loves it! There recitals are always outstanding!

Children are taught by teachers with professional backgrounds. No student teachers. You must see their dance recitals in June!! Their recitals are the best in the area! The best training for the best price!

We brought our 4 and 6 year old girls here for their Acro 1 class the instructor is wonderful!!! The front office doesnt always have someone at the counter if you need to pay for something or if you have a problem. They make you pay for classes even if they wont be open to have them(i.e. December, closed the last 2 weeks but you have to pay for 4. Theyll let you take your child to a make up class, but it wont be the class you signed up for.)and they dont pro-rate it to the next month. I would much rather go somewhere I can pay per class we attend.

My daughter loves going to dance class! Mr Chris is pretty patient teaching the toddlers but its amazing to see them follow directions.

When we joined the Sells Broadway Dance Company family, my daughter not only blossomed as a dancer, she gained the confidence to try new things and excel at them!!!Love the teachers and staff!

Fantastic studio! They really teach and instruct even at a young age. Couldnt be happier.

Very disappointed with this business. Had my son enrolled, and had an issue come up as soon as I paid for costumes, tickets, etc. I told them the very next day that it was going to be an issue, followed up on four separate occasions. Guess when I got a call back (let alone a successful resolution)? If you guessed never, youd be right. I get that things are non-refundable, but exceptions should be made when circumstances warrant, and above all, you need to communicate with your customers, else you lose them. You lost me, I wont be returning.

My daughters have blossomed as dancers here. I wish we had joined years ago. Best dance studio in the Hillsborough, pasco, and Pinellas area. Top competition team, high quality performance opportunities (including Broadway in NYC) and their recital is out of this world amazing. Best of all they teach dances that are age appropriate.

They will nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING, including the parties they throw for the students.

My daughter goes to the WeeDance in the mornings and loves it. Chris and his assistants are great with the little ones.
