If you are a family of color I would highly recommend a different choice. Definitely not the environment you want your kids around.

My grandchildren have gone and paid for 12 years to Calvary Baptist academy and due to certain circumstances my grandchildren switched to public school. The 16 year got offered to be apart of the honor society from Davenport High School and since CBA will not respond and give up appropriate paperwork to Davenport my granddaughter does not get to go be in the honors society. That counts for scholarships and future things she’ll miss out on because this school won’t be responsive for things past students need. I don’t recommend this school. It wouldn’t taken much for them to do it and from the time they started the school is going down hill.

The schools education system is amazing, plus they have classes on Bible and also chapel services once a week! I would highly recommend this school if you want your child to have a great Christian education! With its well experienced teachers, your child will understand whats going on greatly! You should definitely take your child here!

This schools curriculum, A Beka Academy, is a high-quality and Biblical based curriculum. With its well-experienced teachers, children will receive a high education, which is based out of the Bible! They host chapel once a week for all the students where they can learn truths from Gods Word. I would highly recommend this school if you are looking a great Christian education for your child!

Children are seeking for answers. At CBA they are not only being taught academically, but also spiritually as well. Most importantly they are taught how to apply the Bible and its principles to everyday life. They are shown how to defend their faith using the Bible as their guide.

I went to this school for two years, the teacher was nice to me for a couple weeks until he developed some kind of dislike towards me and favoritism towards others. He would give better grades or excess time on assignments for certain people, but not others. Quite a few times I talked to him about people bullying me/others but he would never do anything about it or talk to them. But when people he favored said something about bullying he would call the others students’ parents or give them detention. Two particular students would be racist towards me and the teacher would see it but would ignore it. He would even force students to write positive reviews about the school, and as you can see most of these reviews are from students, and even people who never went to the school.

My family chose CBA because we wanted our child to have a Christian education. The school meets that requirement with the curriculum and chapel services during school, but is also giving her a great education. The staff are dedicated and caring. I would absolutely recommend CBA.

When we arrived in the San Antonio area we searched for a Christian school for our five children. We found many, but also realized that we could not afford private education for five children so resorted to enrolling our children in public school. The week before they were to begin, a pastor from a church we had visted came to our home for a visit. We told him about the decision we had made and he strongly advised us against doing so, saying he would work with us to keep our children in a Christian school, no matter what it took. We took that as a sign from God and continued looking for a Christian school. Altough the drive was a bit further than we would have liked, Calvary Baptist Academy was the school we chose. We were very happy with the school. It was exactly what our family needed at the time...Christian education at a reasonable price.

This school will always have a special place in my heart. I not only received a quality education here, but I also learned many valuable character lessons that have help me tremendously throughout life.
