We looked at many dance studios and immediately felt like the vibe at GBSD was more down to earth. They saw my daughters potential in dance vs. her already made skill sets. They took her and taught her to be more skilled and a better dancer all around. I was right about the culture, it is a warm community and everyone is treated like family. My daughter LOVES it there and has made wonderful friendships.

Our 3 year old has been taking dance for about a year here in the tap/ballet class with Miss Kelsey. Despite COVID they have been able to keep the kids engaged both in class and virtually. The new studio is beautiful and allows for many classes to be run concurrently. Also, the entire staff is warm and welcoming.

I’m always amazed at how much my daughter progresses at GBSD each year. The teachers are so talented and always wow us with fresh and challenging routines. The studio follows strict Covid protocols which helps ease our minds a bit in this crazy time. Their competitive teams are strong and give the students a sense of team building and community. We are so happy to call them our second family and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the studio to anyone looking for a fun activity for their child.

My daughter is young for her age and shy, at 3 years old they have a beautifully designed class that got her interested and she can’t wait to go back. Even with the covid 19 craziness they take sterilization and social distancing seriously and don’t cut corners. Very safe and professional dance school to encourage development. Front desk is very friendly, informative, and helpful. If you time pick up and drop off right you can catch glimpses of their higher level classes and the quality of dancing is amazing!

GBSD is awesome! Our daughter has learned so much in the three years we have been there, it has been incredible to watch. The instructors really know what they are doing, and clearly love doing it. The studio is a warm welcoming environment, and the space is a spacious and beautiful place to dance!

It is fabulous! The 2 girls I nanny for attend many classes every week. They offer both boys and girls and a wide variety of classes as well as a competitive team

My family left another studio and began dancing at The Greater Boston School of dance last year, and we never looked back. This studio is so much more than just a dance studio. On top of being a phenomenal teacher, Ms. Kerrin, (the studio owner) also builds character, responsibility, skills, and heart with all her students. She surrounds herself with equally talented and devoted staff, and its evident that her GBSD students have flourished under their teachings. My daughter is young, and I love that she has so many older role models to look up to; from the teachers to the older girls who now mentor her. On top of my daughter taking every kind of dance there is, my son is taught by an amazing hip hop teacher, and I myself, really enjoy the jazz and barre classes, and sometimes hip hop too! GBSD has become our extended family and Im forever grateful for this little studio It has provided my daughter with a warm and loving dance environment It has provided her the ability to be confident and shown her how being challenged is a good thing. We look forward to many years dancing at the Greater Boston School of Dance!
