The studio is bright and clean. I love that the prices are listed on their website and that they encourage you to come in and practice even when you don’t have classes. Kind, friendly, extremely competent instructors.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Brogen and Katherine and what they’ve created within Nova. I’m a beginner and in as little as 2 lessons, I learned the routine for Rumba, Cha-Cha, Waltz and Tango!! Every time I go back, I’m amazed with their knowledge and expertise and how easy it is to learn from them. Katherine and Brogen have so much quality experience in their dancing and I’m beyond grateful to have them as my dance coaches!!

My fiancee and I went here for dance lessons for our wedding and Katherine was absolutely FANTASTIC! Neither of us had any idea how to dance and were both extremely nervous before attending our first lesson. Katherine did an amazing job at getting us feeling comfortable with dancing. She is also excellent at teaching/explaining things and most importantly never makes you feel bad for messing up or asking a question! Everything that she does is extremely constructive in a good way! She has done such a great job that my fiancee and I are now looking into doing dancing lessons after our wedding just for fun!

The owners Katherine and Brogen are two of the most genuine and kind hearted individuals I have ever met. Both are leaders in their field and phenomenal teachers. Katherine was so patient while teaching my husband and I (both of us have never danced before) and she gave clear and gentle correction so that we were truly learning but she never made us feel bad for making mistakes. As an adult learner, it can be so embarrassing to not know how to do something. I am so used to being an expert that it can be difficult to try new things. My grandson (age 7) has developed precise physical and mental control through this ballroom dance program. He likes soccer; he likes basketball; ballroom dance, however, is his passion!

My daughter is 10 years old. She has been dancing and competing since she was 2 in various styles of dance. She started ballroom about a year ago and has fell in love with it thanks to her fabulous instructors. She is now part of NOVA DanceSport’s competition team and is preparing for her second competition with them. Katherine and Brogen are unlike any other studio owners you will meet. It is more than a business to them and it shows. The positivity and love they have for dance is infectious. They teach in a way that children and adults of all ages can understand and learn. The instructors they employ in all different styles of dance are top notch and my daughter is loving the other classes they have to offer. They have created a positive atmosphere for their students and families. We LOVE NOVA DANCESPORT!!! We have only had a positive experience with Nashville’s newest dance studio. I would leave 10 stars if I could.

Ive been taking ballroom dance lessons from Katherine for three years now and it is one of the best decisions Ive ever made.Before starting here I had taken dance lessons at some other studios where they taught me a lot of steps. I thought I knew a lot, but when I started at NOVA I quickly discovered that I was missing nearly all of the foundational technique that creates great dancing. My first lessons here were quite humbling, but it has totally been worth it! The difference in the quality of instruction is AMAZING. Every lesson and class builds on what Ive learned and it leads to continuous improvement every week. The learning compounds over time and youll be surprised at what you can accomplish. I started off learning so that I could dance socially, and now I also compete as an amateur dancer.Katherine and Brogen are outstanding teachers in their ability to develop ANYONE into highly skilled dancers and both of them are always overflowing with enthusiasm. If you take lessons or dance classes here, you will absolutely learn, youll become a better dancer, and youll have a great time.
