WHAT CAN I SAY? I have really never written a review of a business or a service that has had such a profound effect on my psyche. But, I had a dream of one day playing professional golf—-though it never happened I always wanted to play golf at a High level. So on my journey I sought out instructors to teach me how to swing the club the proper way. Luckily, I found Dennis Meyers, I drive from the Sarasota area, over two hours each way to see him. Dennis teaches in such a manner that you grasp not only the way the swing should feel, but just watch your results!!!! This golf professional is the real deal—-and his temperament helps you feel at ease throughout your lessons! Thanks to Dennis I love golf again!

I have benefited from golf lessons with Dennis since 1995. In January 2020 my partner Coleen, who is new to the game, and I took a couples lesson from him. Dennis’ teaching expertise allowed him to move seamlessly on the range between myself, an experienced player, and Coleen. After Dennis adjusted my swing, I transitioned on the range from a fade to a draw! During the afternoon playing lesson, under Dennis’ watchful eye and encouragement, I transferred what I learned on the range to the golf course! After producing a number of draws off the tee and on approaches, Dennis and I high-fived to celebrate the moment of “I can do this on the course”! Coleen’s game also improved. She never felt overwhelmed with information and was thus able to comfortably incorporate swing changes. Dennis possesses a thorough understanding of the golf swing. In concert with that, he is able to impart that wisdom clearly to the player at the exact position in your swing where it is needed. My wife and I took introductory lessons with Dennis and had a fantastic experience. He breaks things down into the component parts, and never overwhelms with commentary or feedback.Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve or learn the game! My son, brother and I recently attended two days of Dennis Meyer’s Golf School. It was the BEST decision I have ever made for my golf game. The instruction was personalized in every detail as it started with a swing analysis and was immediately followed by an individualized improvement plan. Dennis’s explanation of the swing changes was well balanced with positive reinforcement and solid reasoning behind the swing improvement changes. Dennis makes the golf lesson fun and does not overwhelm you with too many things to work on at once. He identifies the 2 or 3 things that can help you improve and focuses the lesson on those items only until you get the hang of it. Very enjoyable experience and a very nice guy on top of it. I took the 3-day golf school with Dennis Meyer 11/8-10/2017. I found Dennis to be an excellent teacher, explaining things in laymens terms to someone who hasnt been playing golf too long. He was kind, patient, and he keeps the classes small so he can focus on each student individually. I thoroughly enjoyed all three days. It was a lot to digest, but he encouraged jotting notes down and I returned home each night and typed my notes. I e-mailed him and asked for his input as to the accuracy of my notes. He responded promptly. My game has definitely improved since then and I intend to take a refresher during the coming year. I signed up for the 3 day golf school with Dennis Meyer in November of 2017 and it was the best decision I have done for my golf game. I have in the past taken clinics and none of them compared to this golf school. Dennis was patient and made learning fun. I plan to take the school next season when I am down in Naples, Florida.
