My kids have been part of the AMA family for seven years. They love it!

We love this dojo! My son is 4 and has grown so much in the past year here. The whole staff is so friendly and encouraging, it is such a great environment. I took their women’s self defense class and learned so much. I would highly recommend to anyone at any age.

My son, who is now 14, has been training at the academy since he was 6. He has gained so much confidence by achieving “the next belt level” through the years. The leadership and structure has given him self discipline and courage. And as a bonus, his karate friends are like his brothers, they hang out even when they’re not training! I can’t say enough about such a great program for kids and adults too. Thank you Sensei Hamilton!

AMA is a great dojo. Sensei is great with the kids and the teachers really know what they are doing. Everything is a learning experience. Sensei has also made accommodations for those who are not comfortable training in the dojo. The kids train outside in a small group, socially distanced. We really appreciated this. I love the fact that kids really have to earn their belt, they arent just given a belt for showing up. The kids work hard for their goals.

Truly authentic training concentrating on all aspects of Goju Ryu Karate. Sensei Hamilton runs her dojo with professionalism, knowledge, and experience that few dojos can replicate. Great after school program!

Ive been with AMA now for over 2 years and havent had nothing but wonderful experiences with theschool. Expert and caring leaders that help and guide you through this personal journey of training.From the youngest to the oldest ( believe Im the oldest ) no pressures for perfection, just to do the best you can and always strive to improve. We are here to improve our whole being, and this schoolalong with the family of students does just that.

I have had the great oppurtunity to train here for the past two years and everyday has been a new experience. Everyone who trains at this martial arts school is like part of a big family. Some of my best memories come from inside this building. I hope everyone enjoys the martial arts as much as I do.

AMA is a great dojo, my little boy is turning into a fine young man. They will bring out the best in your child, giving them confidence, structure, and discipline.They work well with special needs children, however it is not a daycare, they can not devote all their time training difficult cases. It isnt fair to the other children to not get the same amount of attention.Recently a young boy started and spent the whole first class crying not wanting to participate and sat with his arms crossed. I watched as a higher belt (teenager) sat with the boy comforting him. Today that young boy laughs and trains right along side of the other children. The transformation was amazing.With all the specials they have going on it is worth it to give it a try. They even have after school pick up at certain Collier County schools.Thank you AMA for all you have done for mySon

Great place for karate and krav maga

I have been training here for over 9 years. I started when I was 9 years old. I have tried training at many places and I have to say this is the best place to go. The environment of the Academy is very welcoming and positive. I have always loved coming to classes. Friends are made easy for kids and adults. Training here has brought me and my family closer together. My mother and I are now both black belts and we both appreciate everything about the Academy. Sensei Hamilton has always been there for me and for other students. I felt like I could always go to her when life feels tough and I need advice. She is a wise and very intelligent person who I am proud to call my Sensei. I would never want to train somewhere else after training here. I love training here and I recommend it to anyone.

Parents beware!!!!I sent my son to the academy for a different form of occupational therapy.I even explained to them about my son who is very smart but he has apraxia.We were told martial arts could be very beneficial for him. They agreed this would be great for him, and we signed him up. It turns out my son would require a smaller class size to be successful, this at no fault of the academy. Just wasnt a right fit... And at the end of he day thats why we as parents work hard and spend the money on activities for our children that they will enjoy and succeed at. The academy refused to let us out of our contract for the entire year, and threaten us if we blocked the auto draft they would send us to collections. SHAME ON YOU Naples academy of martial arts. This is a educational activity . If its not benefiting my son I should have the right to take him where they can give him the skills he needs to succeed. It apparently is all about the money for this Dojo..😡

It is really fun and you can learn a lot of self defense. Everyone is very nice and fun to be with. I love it :)

My son has learned great skills in this academy. He looks forward on attending his classes and always trains hard. I strongly recommend this Dojo. It has become a place where we can get together with friends and family and enjoy every moment of it. They are a great team, wonderful instructors, great leaders and dedicated on teaching our kids skills that will carry on for life.

My 15 yr old son started karate and krav maga a month ago, and he absolutely loves it! The instructors are terrific and everyone is so friendly. It is very satisfying as a parent to see my teenager actually looking forward to activities that do not involve video games!!!! :-)

I have trained at AMA for years and honestly, I love this dojo. I even came back to train after a 5 year hiatus for college. Training here, and coming back, are two of the best decisions Ive ever made. It is a close group of students who train hard and work together well to help each other create a constant self improvement. AMA and Sensei work daily to provide a fun and respectful atmosphere where my family and I always feel welcome and appreciated. They also do many programs and events for kids and womens self defense. This place is not just my dojo, it is a place where I forget my stress, work my body, make lasting friends, and learn more about myself every day that I train. Come check it out. Been training Krav Maga at this facility for a month now and I love it. Is a fun, great workout and you learn real self defence skills. Who does Krava Maga here? Everybody you can think of. Men, women of all ages we all share a great camaderie and enjoy with our Instructor Nick. Cant wait for next class. Seriously do the two week trial for 29 bucks and you will be hooked!

Training in a traditional karate atmosphere is highly recommended and the Academy of Martial Arts provides that and a whole lot more. Sensei sets the ideal setting to learn not only self defense, but how to improve on yourself. I have been training with Sensei Hamilton for 9 years and she has not only taught me to push myself to my personal best, but has shown me that the martial way can be used in everyday living.The atmosphere in our dojo is charge with positive energy and each person maybe on their own individual journey, but we all work together to help each other through the trials and tribuations that occur not only in the dojo, but outside the dojo as well. A well rounded family atmosphere.
