Loved playing in the band for the small amount of time I was here before we moved out. I must say the music program is probably the best in the county. The school really lacks in a lot of other things though. Countless times people I knew and myself were threatened by people and had to deal with it on our own because the administration just doesnt care enough to put out real action instead of just yelling at kids to go to class. I was not the best student here I must admit, but stuff like teachers willingly letting you hideout in your classroom to skip the entire day is just baffling. There were probably only 3 teachers there I can say do their job and actually care about the students and their future, rather than just constant lecture. Also what is up with the bathrooms always having urine everywhere and broken seats and stalls that dont close. I get its an old school since I have family who went here but the stuff in there is pretty gross. Id also like to mention that you guys may put up pictures of honor roll students but a lot of staff will treat them like garbage for no reason. Also I think the whole gang activity stuff that kids talk about is absolutely hilarious when its really just a bunch of white kids having push and hair pull fights. Really hated the school when I was here though. I guess its because I was going over my stupid rebellious phase though. Please fix the issues thats tearing this school apart.

Barron Collier High School infringes on my girlfriends rights every day by not allowing her to wear leggings or ripped jeans or any jeans with small holes in them below the knee which is a ridiculous rule. If she wants to wear a bikini to school she should be able to. Barron Collier has changed for the worse and their are so many druggy kids here and a bunch of drugs going around this school which is dangerous and I and many others hope to transfer to Naples High next year because this school is terrible. If you love your kids DO NOT send them here.

I’m a student but they probably don’t care. I feel terrified to walk in that corrupt school in a corrupt school system. You let Robert Dawes be the vice principal there again, after what he did. You disgust me and my fellow peers. It’s hard enough learning, let alone living.

Me and my boyfriend graduated from here and we kinda didn’t like it that’s much if you show any kind of PDA in the hallways or hold hands or hug around school teachers stare at you and make you feel awkward. The kids here are somewhat nice I made some nice girlfriends here and have been to multiple parties here my boyfriend played football freshman year and didn’t like it that much the coaches were kinda mean but yeah otherwise this school isnt so great but isn’t that bad I would suggest sending your kid to CSN if you have the money it’s more worth it.

I really can’t say I had a good experience at this school, it’s quite dirty and old and the bathrooms are always disgustingly dirty. I can’t say football was bad because Coach Jackson was always awesome. The only problem I had was when I was injured I didn’t get much attention or concern freshman and sophomore year but that’s not his problems it’s the trainer and the other coaches deal. Anyway onto the education everyday my friends and I would feel harassed by Mr. Huffman and many other teachers for no reason at all and don’t even get me started with the whole AICE and Cambridge program it’s a waste and most colleges don’t accept AICE and Cambridge credits anyway so just have your kids take regular classes don’t put them in AP. If you love your children do not send them here if you have the money send them to private school.

This school is very bad and I trust my kids opinion. The administration does not care about how teachers treat students, in-fact many parents have complained multiple times but people haven’t been speaking out but by the the looks of the comments below this one it looks like people finally are which is a good sign. Students and Parents are finally tired of Byrne and Huffman being rude to their children and themselves like they were to mine. It’s time for change.

If you are going to have band practice do itduring the day not in the middle night

Barron Collier is unsafe and its administration is hostile towards the student body. They constantly infringe on our constitutional rights and purposely get students in unwanted trouble. Their actions are borderline illegal due to the fact that they let former convicts (like Ms. Byrne) teach their students. In fact, I’m going to predict that this message will get deleted because they don’t care about what students have to say.

I wanted to share my experience at this school after going here for 4 years and graduating from BCHS on the 25th this year. Sadly, I was sexually harassed every day by rude rich Best boys with girlfriends because of how beautiful my face and my body are. Unfortunately that was not the only problem at this school Mr. Hernandez and Mr. Mohulland our Principal and vice principal’s did not care about us nor how we felt all they cared about are test scores and graduation rates and their pay checks. I definitely will miss Miss Nichols Miss Adams Miss Jackson Mr. Applegate Miss Kalten and Miss Hunter and Miss Gershbach and Mr Dawes (I know he’s rough around the edges but once you get to know him he’s very nice) they were always nice to me and treated me like their own daughter, I wish they could run this school. I definitely have had my fair share of crushes at the school And I could not ever talk to them because they were being bullied by rude jokes because of how they looked or acted up or if they had any sort of disability people would pick on them. So me and others girls were always trying to stick up for them whenever we could but I wish I could go back in time and talk to one of them in maybe I could’ve had a good relationship with one of them but I guess we’ll never know because of stuck up people who bully cute and sweet boys. The school needs a lot of change and it should start at the principal level we need new administrators otherwise the school will never improve I definitely hope this does not get taken down because I feel others should hear what I have to say and many of them probably agree on this I hope this one spare change our school.

What a terrible school, I wish I could give it 0 stars. Mr. Huffman is one of the rudest and meanest teachers in the school but their are many other teachers that are just as bad. I suggest not going to barron collier high school.

I went there I got told the school played me like a whistle they didnt let me get good at anything or play me @ sports even cut me from freshman basketball like Michael Jordan or lebron james except I didnt try out again or who knows where Id be haha jk not or w/e my dad owns hospitals & ob gyn with his parent as lawyers and family being all drs lawyers etc & I didnt get good grades there but mental attacks from that school it screwed me and I hate I sense the school that played me that didnt let me achieve what my parents have or what I wanted they didnt even set me up for success maybe the people there didnt like & wouldve gone mental if I you got things correct and like everyone I meet there is humiliating low sick crooked vile involved in gangs its a bad school and its like one of the top public school in Naples Florida I would send my kid to community school I regret ever stepping in there and meeting all my enemies with pessimist attitudes thinking low sick vile comparing themselves to me etc. attacking me I dont know what to say I played sports that was fun while it lasted I didnt get played though maybe bc I dont want to say um its a bad idea to send your kid there its a college preparatory school some other high schools teach you traits thats better I think and Im furious I have to tolerate the people I meet there or through it Spirit soul body I wish to vanish them forever just thinking of those people makes me mad!

Going to this place will drain your soul right out of your body. If you dislike your kids send them here. Everything here sucks.

As a former student I am appalled at students & parents behavior at 10/15/13 fb game at GCHS! You should be ashamed!!

This school is awful. I am a student here and I come home wanting to die. Whatever you do, DO NOT ENROLL YOUR KID HERE.
