I am beyond blessed to bring my daughter here. I grew up dancing at this studio and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my daughters instruction physically as well as her heart. The leap N learn program combines child psychology with excellent dance instruction in a way she can process and play. We LOVE it here!!!

I have two daughters that started in the youngest class (mommy and me!!) They absolutely LOVE dancing at Sliver lining. The staff is so sweet and very professional. We love the no drama policy and the modest costumes! Our girls love their teacher, Mrs Amber! And my husband and I love that they can dance and worship Jesus all in the same place!

We have been a part of this amazing dance studio for 8 years. I cant imagine trusting my children to any other. They offer the highest quality dance instruction and each instructor personally invests in their students as individuals. They make an environment where each child can develop and shine in their own way and at their own pace. It is a place of encouragement and love; there is no ugly interstudent competition allowed, but rather they show the children practical ways to encourage one another in their pursuit of dance. This is my daughters happy place where she is accepted, loved, and challenged to do great things.

After a terrible experience with another dance studio, Silver Lining Dance Academy is just that, a silver lining. My daughter adores her teacher, Ms. Amber, and all of the staff here at this studio. Theyre all so helpful and kind. The studio itself is always clean and welcoming. My daughter has learned SO MUCH in the 5 months shes been here and I know well continue to come back here until she ages out! And even then, well always support this facility and its wonderful staff!

We are beginning our ninth year at this wonderful studio. The staff here cares for the whole student…physical, mental, emotional, emotional, relational health. I am confident that my kids are getting a top-notch education in the dance and theater practices of their choosing, and are also being strengthened in character and confidence. I can’t imagine our family life without the milestones we have because of SLSA. Whether you’re looking for fun, recreational instruction or preparation for a life of dance, this is the place!

This studio has been such a blessing to not just me but also my family! They have shown such love and care and guidance. I graduated 2 years ago and I still receive the same love and care from the staff as I did when I was a student! They truly love their students here! My son loves this place so much and I love the family atmosphere and the time the put into each student emotionally as well as the excellent dance training. If you get the chance to attend the nutcracker put on by then or their showcase take it! The talent is incredible!

I just graduated from being a student at SLDA! I have been with them since pretty much the beginning. As an alumni, I can say if you are looking for nurturing environment that pushes your childs excellence, not perfection, in dance, then youve come to the right place! Both my daughter have danced with SLDA for over a combined 20 years. Not only did they learn to dance exceedingly well, but the experience has brought them closer to their Heavenly Father. I would highly recommend this dance studio to anyone.

My kids love dancing at Silver Lining Dance Academy. The staff is so caring and good at what they do. If you dont believe me, come to the show at Christ United Methodist Church across from Medieval Times on May 10th, 2014. They are doing two shows that day. The first is the little kids, they are so cute. Then they will do a three hour show of all the big kids. They do anything from Ballroom to Hip Hop to Ballet and everything in between. They are doing it all to Glorify God and they do that well!

I danced at Silver Lining for almost 3 years in high school. I loved it until I realized how truly hypocrital these girls are. They are selective in the types of girls they allow onto dance team, obviously. However, if anyone seems to act unusual or seem to project a wrong image to the younger girls, instead of talking to them to help or attempting to lift them up, they kick them off. This is the exact opposite of what it means to be a Christian. No one asked me what was happening to me or no asked me how I was. I was just gone, no one cared. This studio is the epitome of a Christian cookie cutter machine and I would strongly discourage anyone who wants to put a teenager/highschooler here. They exude exclusivity and judgement and it still affects me today.

I was a student at Silver Lining for 10 years and the friendships that I made there I still have today! SLDA is not only a place to learn how to dance well, but it is a place where you learn to give your talents and skills back to the Lord, it’s a place where you make friendships that will last you through graduation, college, weddings, babies, and anything else life throws at you! You also gain a support system of teachers and students to lift you up and encourage you and point you towards God even when you don’t want to hear it which has been invaluable in my life! I want to say I couldn’t imagine my life without this studio, but I could, and it would have gone very differently. This place makes you feel welcome the moment you step through the door and hear Mrs Whitney cheerfully call every student and parent by name! I will forever be greatful for the lessons I learned, and continue to learn from my second home.

Our experience with SLDA has been wonderful from the moment we walked in their door three years ago. Mrs. Whitney talked with me about their classes and their mission. Our daughter checked it out and told us that she couldnt wait to get started. She felt like she belonged here and that she was meant to dance with them. She has learned so much about dance and has blossomed into a very confident dancer. The staff at SLDA is a family and their dancers and their families are part of their family. We couldnt be happier at SLDA.

We went to their 11th recital last night. The Neeves/Branfuhr families have much to be proud of in producing this excellent in every way school of dance that nutures these girls in ways far beyond the dance. The academy has grown in eleven years to come close to filling the Christ United Methodist Church auditorium during their recital. They exemplify the qualities I want my grand daughters to learn in every way. God is glorified, faith is nurtured, friendship and family are supported in very positive ways. Costumes remain modest and appropriate for every girl. Competitiveness is held to what I think is good level. Every girl grows in grace every year...

We have called a number of times and left messages to inquire about classes and never received a phone call back.

From the teachers to the music, the love of Christ is exemplified.
