If you are going to learn something, you should find the most accomplished teacher you can find and learn from them. Professor Ricardo is a World Champion, Pan American Champion and National Champion in BJJ. I have trained with Ricardo for years and now my children train with him as well. The quality of the students make the experience awesome. Highly recommended!

There is no other place like Gracie Humaita Temecula. The environment is unmatched. Whether youre new and know nothing of the BJJ world, or youre wanting to start back up, all members of the gym are willing to help. There is a wonderful group of young ladies and women who train here as well that are more than welcome to to any other girl wanting to join the circle. Professor Ricardo has developed a family and a fun, safe environment that anyone can enjoy and grow in. You will not regret stepping on these mats.

If youre thinking of trying Jiu-Jitsu for the first time this is a great place. Professor Ricardo is an outstanding teacher who still competes at the highest level. All students are respectful and willing to share their knowledge as well. Also a very kid friendly environment!

A little over a year and a half ago, I was looking for a BJJ place for my boys (age 5 & 6 at the time) to train. Looking at other places, the instructors were blue or purple belts. Here? Professor Ricardo is a 4th degree black belt and hes there almost every single day teaching the kids, juniors, and adults.The staff and other instructors are amazing teachers and very patient with the kids. My boys are now competing in the in house tournaments and are looking forward to starting to compete in the larger tournaments soon.Im looking to start training there soon as well. Im 42 and not in the best shape, but speaking with some of the older guys there they helped calm my fears of getting injured. No egos, everyone is there just to train and get better. Definitely feels like family when you get here.

World class instruction in a family friendly environment. I started after I turned 40 and my son started after he turned 5. I highly recommend it for any age.

Ive been training now for 18+ months and I am just as hooked as I was when I wrote this first review 8 months ago! Ricardo is a true professional. The other students are helpful and patient. There are no egos. Just people looking to get better. Ive never been this thrilled to be this sore!

An incredible atmosphere of learning, friendship, and competitive camaraderie under the watchful eye of Professor Ricardo. My experience here has been so exceptional Ive also brought my boys to the school. I just cant say enough good things about the school and the students. Come in, talk to the Professor, talk to the students, and prepare to experience the best in Jiu Jitsu.

I’m excited to post a review for this school. Professor Ricardo is hands down the best out there. The belts and metals don’t lie. Aside from his technical skill (um he’s like a award winning champ) he’s amazing w all levels of a jiujitsu practitioner. From a small child, to an experienced black belt. Our family has been here for a very long time and I’m sad to say that at one point we did visit Carlson Gracie off hwy 79 for a couple weeks as scheduling and traffic really became a challenge for my husband and myself. But we quickly realized there is a HUGE difference in quality and skill set. It’s great that more people are practicing jiujitsu overall, makes me so happy, but if your looking to practice for competition, to gain belt recognition, grow in a measurable manner and be challenged w other really really good competitors, then you need to come to Gracie w Professor Ricardo. Several other black belts and brown belts are here as coaches. Not one person but several coaching and growing you, getting on the mat w you and helping your kids w form, and technique as well as building their confidence. Amazing, amazing place. Come check them out. Love them so much for what they offer our family. And I swear all the people there sooooo sweet.

It’s a team effort. Everyone is here to elevate your Jiu Jitsu. The schedule gives everyone the opportunity to train throughout the day.

Loved this place. Took my son in for a day to see how he would like it, as soon as class ended he asked if he could come back the next day lol. Ive never seen him so focused, so dedicated or so respectful tbh. The Instructors were amazing with the kids, they keep them interested throughout the entire class, if they seem to start to lag they quickly in an exciting or funny way get the kids to refocus. Theyre patient, and very invested in the kids and their progress. The whole team was awesome. Im hoping itll work out on my end soon to get my son enrolled.. Fingers crossed lol

As a combat veteran Im no stranger to challenge but the caliber and character of the people I have met at this gym is something I had never encountered before on the mat. The lead professor Ricardo Guimares a cancer survivor and active BJJ competitor personifies the warrior spirit that forged the forged the art of Brazilian jiu jitsu. By far the best school in America. Trust me Ive checked.

Ive been training here for 6 years and would highly recommend Gracie Humaita Temecula to anyone seeking to learn jiu jitsu. The fact that Im being trained by a top worldwide jiu jitsu competitor is priceless. Both my young daughters also train here and it has built their confidence and self-defense skills. Overall, its a professional, clean and fun environment.

No one person except for my grandfather has ever had the respect the knoledge the love and passion for something the way professor ricardo loves jiu jitsu his wife his kids his students and friends. His medals, accolades, and defeat of cancer are only a miniscule look at his character both as a man but also a teacher.

Gracie Humaita Temecula is an excellent place to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The owner/instructor is an expert and still competes (and wins) high level tournaments every year. Whether your goals are to become a world champion in BJJ competition or learn it as a hobby, Gracie Temecula is a perfect place to learn the art. I trained there for 3+ years and miss it everyday, the team is awesome!
