They dont accept DACA students. Their reasoning (in short words)just in case anything happens, we dont want to have a balance left. I have a hard time comprehending this because I was able to get something as big as a mortgage but I cant get into this school because theyre concerned I wont be able to pay? Not helpful at all.

I started the MA program July of 2020. Two months in, I wanted to drop out. I was a student with A’s in the lab and theory courses, near perfect attendance and participation in class, and my instructor, Kristin, treated me like absolute garbage for no reason. She made every single day miserable for everyone in class because she was constantly unprofessional, and always gave us misinformation when she was teaching like she didn’t know what she was talking about. It makes you wonder about some things when your “experienced” Medical Assistant/LPN teacher is steadily corrected by students that haven’t been in the class for a month. Thankfully, she stopped teaching about a week after I dropped out so my other classmates didn’t have to deal with her anymore.Sadly though, that’s not enough for my other classmates that stayed. Eagle Gate college is so unbelievably unorganized, Canvas was always a major source of frustration we got minimal help with, tests were written into the program by someone who didn’t know the right answers so our grades were always inaccurate, and the teaching staff haven’t improved much since I left according to friends I still have in the class. I tried to be understanding and write it off as COVID screwing things up and adding a lot of stress on staff, but if you do your homework this college is steadily hit with terrible reviews, and for good reason. Faculty outside of the instructors was always really helpful and that is probably the only plus I can think of.Overall, I don’t recommend anyone pick Eagle Gate to hand $13,000. It seems like an easy option because it’s an expedited program that is always accepting new students to start quickly, but it’s not worth it. If you see this and are thinking of choosing a different school, please run in the other direction and save yourself the misery.

UPDATE: there was no resolution, we even spoke with the owner himself. To say that their communication is poor between school and students would be a massive understatement. I could give countless examples, from the clinical scheduling process, different tests for different section of the same exact class, to the fact that my husband was told he wouldn’t be able to continue with the program, and then was charged that semester.Their graduation rate on the FASFA paperwork you fill out is 39%.... let that sink in. Less than 1 out of 2 people will graduate. My husband spent 9 semesters getting his BSN, and didn’t pass the final test in class by .1%. This happened twice, and now is kicked out of the program that he has spent tens of thousands of dollars on. They advertise that they have a high pass the NCLEX rate, well that is because they make it so hard to graduate their school in the first place. This university shows that it is a for profit university with every decision they make. You need your own personal advocate to attend school here.

This college is so unorganized it’s unreal. I would not ever recommend this school to anyone! You would be better off paying half the price somewhere else and do an online course that you teach yourself because that’s pretty much what you get here.

I have had nothing but great experiences here, and I am so glad I chose this school. Ive been through similar programs at different schools, and Eagle Gate is far more in depth with attention to detail. The class sizes are small, and everyone gets the attention they need. I love it so much I am recommended it to my own daughter.

Love Eagle Gate College! They are so flexible with my busy schedule. I enjoy the in-ground classes with the mix of online classes to get my degree done quicker. So excited to graduate this year! The staff wants to see you succeed as well as your classmates. Best way to do this program, is to just jump in and take that leap of faith that it will all be ok.

I just graduated here with my bachelors degree in nursing. Amazing staff and brilliant nursing instructors who supported me throughout the whole program! I passed my NCLEX first try and got my first nursing job a week after graduating! Would definitely recommend their nursing program to anyone looking to further their education.

I have been so happy with my experience here so far. No wait list is so nice when you waited too long to decide what you want to do when you grow up (like me). The best part for me is that they are SUPER military friendly! This is a huge deal for me because there are a lot of schools that will turn you away when you tell them that you have other priorities. Eagle Gate has been more than helpful with all of my military obligations!Staff is great, they truly care about us students understanding the material and being the best we can be.

So far so good, cant complain. The curriculum is very vigorous especially since this is my second bachelors and its not my first rodeo, they are honestly just as competitive as a regionally accredited school. The school has great clinical locations (The U., St.marks, HealthSouth etc.) The teachers really know their stuff and truly push you to be the best nurse out of school. They now also offer a Masters Degree in Administration that I am pretty excited about.

Do your homework. This place will put you tens of thousands of dollars into student loan debt. My wife is +$30,000 in debt for dental assisting school when you dont even need a dental assistant certification to work in the field. They dont tell you these things. Be educated before you sign up for their programs. I wish we could go back in time and never have had anything to do with Eagle Gate.

This is such a great nursing school. The professors, staff and students are al so willing to help everyone around them that it makes a hard degree manageable. The nursing program here is amazing! I would recommend this school if you are looking to obtain your bachelors in Nursing, while having a huge support system.

Horrible college! So unorganized! The staff seem to be using a revolving door. They strictly want money. Learning is bottom priority for them. Will never recommend them to anyone going further! Stay away if you want to learn and be successful.

Absolute incompetency and mismanagement on the administrations side. How do you audit a cohort and find that they were missing one credit hour twelve days before they were supposed to be done and expect them to make up an extra forty five hours of class work in twelve days on top of their higher than average workload? Ridiculous.

I’m stuck in debt, of 20,000,00 I can’t even get my tax money for the past four years they took my money for what a certificate that give you no hope on getting a job, I have to get a caregiver certificate to work. every time I apply for Medical Assistant job they ask me are you sure that real certificate, and just for this I don’t even want to go to any college because I have to work and take me out of debt, Eagle Gate College give me bad credit And 20,000.00 I have to pay until 2026, all for nothing. I think they need be the one paying for all the debt because they promise people they will get a job after finishing school and that all a lie. I wish I can turn back time

If you like spending gobbs of cash on nothing, dont spend it here... BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE $47,000 in debt + 2 years of my life for a piece of paper that is only good for wiping your butt with. I pray for the day that i can fill out the paperwork for student loan forgiveness.

Eagle Gate College has been amazing through my nursing career. They are very hands-on, which has helped me me really learn concepts that I may have struggled with. I have found that during my clinical rotations, going up against some other colleges, I knew more and had more practical experience that those who were in their preceptorship. For the people who had bad reviews, not everyone is going to like a small college where the instructors actually know your name and care. I would prefer this to a large college, sitting in a classroom with tons of other people. Best of all, not wait list. I didnt have to wait a year to get in like a local major college.

I graduated with honors from eagle gate college about 10 years ago with a computer science degree. One of the things they sold me on, was being able to return and take updated courses as the technology changes. A few years after I graduated, they did away with the program and would not let me return for any courses. No thanks to them, I had an incredible career lined up in my family business and just need the skill set. They have been rude every time I would call and ask about taking other courses since they dont offer mine anymore. Too bad, I really liked going there, but now I know they are a money machine and could care less about your career.

Best thing Ive ever done. Dont need to waist time being in large classes at the university when you can get hands on; one on one help right here! I am 18 years old I am completing a two year program in ten months. They even helped me get a SCHOLARSHIP right when I started. These people are here to help you they want you to succeed. On the plus side they have to place 99% of their students in a job, if you havent gotten the job yourself during your externship. I have learned so much and would recommend them. They arent super strict on things, because they know that LIFE HAPPENS!. They will help you find transportation or a job what ever you need. These are good people they will help you no matter what.If your still not sure, what does it hurt by going in and talking to them. Find out yourself and see if its the right place for you.

Zero stars is not an option. Worst 9 months of my life and even after grants they want 13,000.00 for 9 months of schooling??? Went to another college after for 3.5 years to get an actual accredited degree... the bill from them was only 4,000.00 This school is a joke and extremely overpriced... I will warn anyone who ever mentions going to this school to steer clear!!

They misrepresent facts about financial aid, I offered to make payments but they said $700/month or we will take you to a collection lawyer who will attempt to garnish your wages. And the review saying that they place 99% of their grads is a TOTAL LIE. I know two people who graduated and neither have had help finding a job and neither are working in the field.

If you want to spend ALOT of money for a degree that will be pretty much worthless credits that dont transfer anywhere no matter what they try and tell you because they are conartist take classes that you could pass by not even showing up than this is the college or busniess for you but if you want a real degree and real college credits then go to a community college or university.

I took two classes at Eagle Gate College.I was told when I signed up that my federal PELL grant would cover most of my expense. That was completely incorrect information.I ended up paying over $2,000, (with a full PELL grant)for 2 classes. This is not an accredited school, your credits will not transfer anywhere.I am writing this review hoping to keep someone from making the same mistake as I did.I didnt realize just how bad these for profit schools are.Luckily I wised up, before I ended up spending thousands and thousands of dollars.
